Objective To study the effects of single leaf Asarum on pulmonary ventilation in experimental rats with syndrome of cold fluid shooting lung. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups including singe leaf Asarum group [fed with water extracts of singe leaf Asarum 1 mL/(kg?d)], singe leaf Asarumi Miq group [fed with water extracts of singe leaf Asarumi Miq 1 mL/(kg?d)] and normal saline group [fed with 0.9% normal saline 1 mL/(kg?d)]. After fed continually for 6 days, whole lung of rats were washed with normal saline [7 ℃, 2.5 mL/(kg?d)] and then were perfused for 30 seconds. This treatment was repeated 5 times every 5 minutes to make the model of cold fluid shooting lung. The fluid of perfusion was collected and detected. The changes of TXB2, ET, protein and phospholipids of the fluid were measured before and after lavage. Results TXB2, ET and protein in the perfusing fluid ascended obviously, while phospholipids were low in normal saline group. BACKGROUND:Recently, bone tissue engineering is highlighted from the nature source. OBJECTIVE:To explore the preparation of a cuttlebone-transformed hydroxyapatite scaffold as the novel bone substitution. METHODS: As raw materials, the cuttlebone appeared to have a hydrothermal reaction with diammonium phosphate under specific conditions, and the hydrothermal products were characterized respectively by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The results showed that the hydrothermal products were hydroxyapatite. The cuttlebone-transformed hydroxyapatite possessed good three-dimensional structure. Cytocompatibility of the cuttlebone-transformed hydroxyapatite with MG63 cels culturedin vitro were observed and we found the cuttlebone-transformed hydroxyapatite had no obvious effects on cellgrowth and no toxicity, which can be used as new bone tissue engineering scaffolds.

OBJECTIVE: To study the influence of single leaf Asarum himalaicum on the renal function of rabbits. METHODS: Rabbits were divided into three groups. Asarum himalaicum, Asarum heterotropoides and normal saline were intravenously administered to the rabbits of one group respectively. The urine volume per minute, urine pH, urine glucose, protein and red blood cells, BUN, SCr, TXB2, 6-keto-PGF1alpha, TXB2/6-keto-PGF1alpha, endothelin, p-aminohippuric acid clearance rate and phenolsulfonphthalein excretion rate were tested before and after the administration. RESULTS: A certain dosage of single leaf Asarum himalaicum caused acute renal failure in rabbits. The indices tested were significantly different between rabbits administered Asarum himalaicum and normal saline. As compared with the rabbits administered Asarum heterotropoides, the results of indices tested decreased, but without statistical significance, except for SCr. CONCLUSION: The single leaf Asarum himalaicum can cause renal damage to rabbits. Its renal toxicity is lower that that of Asarum heterotropoides.

Lidocaine assay was carried out in a medical case by using the method established. Conclusion Spinal fluid is suitable for assay lidocain in forensic toxicological analysis and other medical studies by using the HPLC method which is sensitive, rapid and accurate.

V-P and MR tests were done at the same time using white porcelain board.The results showed that the white porcelain method was simple and convenient compared to the traditional method.

目的观察肌电图导引下应用A型肉毒毒素治疗脑卒中偏瘫患者肢体痉挛的临床疗效。方法65例脑卒中痉挛性偏瘫患者按FMA量表评定分为3组,应用肌电图纪录痉挛肢体在功能位时的运动单元电位数,确定治疗肌肉,每一部位注射5U,0.2ml国产A型肉毒毒素,治疗3天后由康复训练师亲自或指导家属进行肢体功能训练。采用改良AshWorth分度评分评定痉挛状态,FMA量表评定日常生活能力(上下肢分别统计)。结果治疗后,中、轻度运动障碍者恢复至基本正常;严重运动障碍者恢复至明显运动障碍;严重运动障碍合并挛缩者可改善其生存质量;所有患者增高的肌张力均有明显改善。结论在肌电图导引下,A型肉毒毒素作为缓解痉挛药物使用安全、有效,对肢体功能的恢复有显著的辅助作用。

Objective To discuss the relative factors and clinical features of the elderly patients with craniocerebral trauma so as to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of craniocerebral trauma.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 139 patients with craniocerebral trauma treated in our department from June 2006 to August 2009. The post-injury pathogenesis, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS)score, injury type, major complications and treatment method were summarized and analyzed to find the correlation of various factors with prognosis. Results It was revealed that the mortality was closely related with GCS score, injury type and post-tranmatic complications. The lower GCS score induced higher mortality. The high mortality was manifested in patients with craniocerebral trauma who presented diffuse cerebral edema, contusion and laceration combined with multiple hematomas and brain stem injury. The prognosis was impacted by lung infection, failure of respiratory function, hemorrhage in upper digestive tract, or simultaneous 2-3 complications after craniocerebral trauma. Conclusions The prognosis is directly affected by injury severity, injury type and complications of craniocerebral trauma. The elderly patients demonstrate delayed reaction, which deserves active early examinations and treatment to improve the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of compound Qianglizhenxian pill on epilepsy. Methods 94 patients with epilepsy were treated with compound Qianglizhenxian pill, and every course lasted three months. After treatment, checking patients' electroencephalogram again, evaluating the clinical effect according to degrees and numbers of attack. Results After 12 months of treatment, 90.43% of patients got an obvious improvement, while 6.38% for better, 3.19% for validity and no invalid. Conclusions There is a great improvement for patients with epilepsy after taking the medicine. The effective control rate is 92.62% with no toxication on blood system, liver and kidney.

Objective To develop a method for the determination of ganciclover in human plasma by RPHPLC.Methods Plasma containing ganciclover was extracted with methanol and methylene chloride,qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out directly.Working curve,linear range,recovery,precision and so on was obtained according to the sample pre-processing method and analysis state.The HPLC method has been taken to investigate the plasma concentration of ganciclover for 12 volunteers.Results The relationship of the peak area of ganciclover concentration in plasma linear within the range of 0.05 μg/mL～1.60 μg/mL(r=0.9999).The lowest detection limit was 0.01 μg/mL(S/N≥13).The intra and inter-day RSD were less than 5.1%respectively.The recovery is about 90.0%～95.4%.Conclusion The established method in the article was shown to be sensitive,accurate and simple for the determination of ganciclover level.It is suitable for clinical detection of ganciclover and forensic medicine and toxicology analysis.
