AIM：To investigate the roles of nitric oxide (NO) and endothelin-1(ET-1) in regulation of coronary vascular reserve (CVR) during hypoxia.METHODS： CVR were measured with 99m TC radiolabelled frog RBC, the changes of NO-2，ET-1 contents， nitric oxide synthase(NOS) activity and the myocardial morphometry were observed. RESULTS： (1) Acute hypoxia caused an increase in left and right ventricular myocardial blood flow，myocardial NO-2，ET-1 contents，NOS activity，but CVR in the left and right ventricle were decreased compared with the control group.(2) Intermittent hypobaric hypoxia for 90 days did not lead to significant change in left ventricular CVR，myocardial ET-1/NO-2 ratio. However, right ventricular myocardial ET-1 contents，ET-1/ NO-2 ratio were increased，right ventricular CVR and myocardial NO-2 contents were decreased. We also observed that perivascular collagen，arterial wall thickness in right ventricle， hematocrit，RV weight index were augmented. CONCLUSION： Rest myocardial blood flow was increased，CVR was decreased；The decreased coronary vascular reserve during chronic hypoxia might be resulted from the increased hematocrit，arterial wall thickness，perivascular collagen，ET-1 content, the decreased NO content and right ventricular hypertrophy

To explore the utility of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)histogram analysis for differentiating genetic subtypes of diffuse lower-grade gliomas. A total of 55 patients with WHO grade Ⅱ/Ⅲ diffuse lower-grade gliomas who underwent preoperative routine brain magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion weighted imaging in our center were retrospectively evaluated.Among whom there were 14 patients with isocitrate dehydrogenase(IDH)wild-type gliomas(IDH group),19 patients with IDH-mutant 1p19q intact gliomas(IDH 1p19q group),and 22 patients with IDH-mutant 1p19q co-deleted gliomas(IDH 1p19q group).The whole-lesion ADC values derived from histogram analysis(including ADC,ADC,ADC5%,ADC10%,ADC25%,ADC50%,ADC75%,ADC90%,ADC95%,ADC,mode,range,skewness,kurtosis,standard deviation,inhomogeneity,and entrophy)were measured for each patient.All parameters between the different genetic subtypes were compared by using the Student's test or Mann-Whitney test.Receiver operating curve(ROC)analysis was used to assess the diagnostic performance of ADC histogram in distinguishing the different genetic subtypes. Compared with IDH group,the ADC75%(=0.021),ADC90%(=0.015),ADC95%(=0.014),ADC (=0.035),range(=0.009),standard deviation(=0.001)and inhomogeneity(=0.001)were significantly lower in IDH group;in contrast,the ADC (=0.031)and kurtosis(=0.020)of IDH group were significantly higher than those in IDH group.The ADC(=0.010),ADC5%(=0.016),ADC10%(=0.012),ADC25%(=0.007),ADC50%(=0.005),ADC75%(=0.015),and mode(=0.002)were significantly higher in IDH 1p19q group than in IDH 1p19q group.Inhomogeneity achieved the highest area under ROC(AUC)(0.811)in differentiating IDH gliomas and IDH gliomas,with a cutoff value of 0.229;the sensitivity and specificity were 85.7% and 73.2%.The mode achieved the highest AUC(0.744)in differentiating IDH 1p19q gliomas and IDH 1p19q gliomas,with a cutoff value was 1448.75×10 mm /s;the sensitivity and specificity were 57.9% and 90.9%. ADC histograms analysis may be helpful to differentiate genetic subtypes in lower-grade gliomas.

Objective Construct the reasonably effective performance assessment mode of clinical departments,which is suitable for the continuous development of modern hospital.Method Use of balanced scorecard (BSC) principle,using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and Rank sum ratio method (RSR)to establish a performance assessment system. Results Constructed the performance assessment mode of clinical departments,which can be dynamically adjusted based on management objectives strategy.The mode takes the BSC as the baseline,the strategy of hospital development as the guide,performance assessment index system as the key element. Conclusion The performance assessment mode of clinical departments,base on BSC,achieve the strategic performance management,and is conducive to the hospital for continuous improvement of medical care quality,in line with the long-term strategic needs of the hospital.

Purpose To explore the significance of three-dimensional reconstruction of fetus based on MRI scan data. Materials and Methods Three woman (more than 39 weeks' gestation) with a strong wish to have natural childbirth and voluntary to take the examination in Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University were recruited in the study. Mimics 10.01 software was used to do three-dimensional reconstruction. Results The fetal surface tissue showed low signal on the two-dimensional images, and amniotic fluid and lung, bladder, cerebrospinal fluid showed high signal. The placenta and uterine wall showed moderate to low signal. Those contributed to the clear boundary between fetal surface and other tissue surround. The three-dimensional fetus models were reconstructed successfully, which clearly demonstrated the main surface features and spatial position of the fetus. The fetal morphology and fetal position could be viewed in various directions. Conclusion Fetus surface can be reconstructed into three-dimensional model based on MRI data set, which has advantage of large visual field and can be observed at arbitrary angle. It provides a new method for morphological analysis and prenatal evaluation for fetal development and growth.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP) in the process of fluid resuscita-tion with different crystalloid-colloid ratio in the patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) .Methods Clinical data of 85 SAP patients were analyzed retrospectively in the Emergency Center of Chongqing during January of 2010 to December of 2012 .Early goal-directed therapy(EGDT) was confirmed the end criterion of the end point of resuscitation .Low crystalloid-colloid ratio group (n=45) and high crystalloid-colloid ratio group(n=40) were divided according to crystalloid-colloid ratio (3∶1) as the borderline , BNP were observed at the time point of before fluid resuscitation ,and 1 ,2 ,3 days after resuscitation and the day before discharge . Results Different fluid resuscitation of crystalloid-colloid ratio could improve hemodynamics in patients ,BNP increased with the to-tal amount of resuscitation liquid ,were positively correlated with liquid volume .The total amount of fluid of the high crystalloid-colloid ratio group was significantly higher than that of the low crystalloid-colloid ratio group .Conclusion BNP could guide early fluid resuscitation and low crystalloid-colloid ratio should be adopted for SAP patients .

Objective To compare the value of the Postpartum Depression Screening Scale (PDSS)and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS) in the screening of postpartum depression.Methods A total of 445 women within 6 weeks postpartum completed PDSS,EPDS and Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV-TR Axis I Disorders-Patient Edition (SCID-I/P).The SCID-I/P was regarded as the gold standard for postpartum depression diagnosis.Results The cut-off score for PDSS and EPDS was 74 and 10,respectively.PDSS achieved the higher combination of sensitivity ( 93.33％ ) and specifity ( 94.75％ ).The area under the curve for PDSS and EPDS was 0.978 and 0.872,respectively ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Compared with EPDS,PDSS has a higher screening value.It is a simple,fast and accurate screening tool for postpartum depression.

This study aims to develop a method for determination of beta-elemene, curcumol, germacrone and neocurdione in the volatile oil of Curcuma phaeocaulis, and to provide the basis of the quality control method for the volatile oil of C. phaeocaulis and the related preparations. Based on GC-MS, the 4 main compounds were simultaneously determined, with the internal standard n-tridecane. The Agilent 19091S-433 column (0.25 microm x 250 microm x 30 m) was adopted at the temperature of 250 degrees C, the programmed temperature method (60 degrees C for 1 min, 5 degrees C x min x to 110 degrees C for 5 min, 1 degrees C x min(-1) to 140 degrees C, 5 degrees C x min(-1) to 160 degrees C, 10 degrees C x min(-1) to 240 degrees C) was used. Helium gas was used as the carrier gas at a constant flow rat of 1 mL x min(-1), with an injection volume of 1 RL. Mass spectra were taken at 70 eV; the ion-source temperature was 200 degrees C. The relation time and character acteristic ions for each target compound were determined by full scan mode and SIM, and m/z 85.1, 93.1, 121.1, 107.1 and 180.1 were the detection ions of n-tridecane, beta-elemene, curcumol, germacrone and neocurdione. As a result, beta-elemene, curcumol, germacrone and neocurdione were all detected with good separation. They were all in a good linear relationship within each concentration scope. The average recovery rates were in the range of 98.2%-101%. So, the method can be used to control the quality of the volatile of C. phaeocaulis Val. and the preparations related.

The study aimed to clone the open reading frame of cinnamate 4-hydroxylase (C4H) from Aquilaria sinensis and analyze the bioinformatics and expression of the gene. One unique sequence containing C4H domain was discovered in our previous reported wound transcriptome dataset of A. sinensis. The open reading frame of C4H was cloned by RT-PCR strategy with the template of mixed RNA extracted from A. sinensis stem which treated by different wound time. The bioinformatic analysis of this gene and its corresponding protein was performed. C4H expression profiles in responds to MeJA (methyl jasmonate) application were analyzed by real-time PCR. The length of C4H open reading frame (ORF) was 1 515 bp, encoding 514 amino acids. The GenBank accession number is KF134783. Inducible-experiments showed that the genes were induced by mechanical wound as well as MeJA induction, and reached the highest expression level at 8 h and 20 h, respectively. The full-length cDNA of C4H and its expression patterns will provide a foundation for further research on its function in the molecular mechanisms of aromatic compounds and flavonoids biosynthesis.
