Objective To explore the relationship between interleukin-8 (IL-8) gene 1633C/T polymorphism and late-onset Alzheimer's disease in order to provide genetic reference data for late-onset Alzheimer's disease.Methods Polymorphism distribution of IL-8 gene 1633C/T in 80 LOAD and 80 normal controls were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCRRFLP) analysis.The alleles and gene frequencies type were calculated by the direct counting.Type of gene was proceeded with the Hardy-Weinberg balance estimate.The other statistical analyses were carried out with SPSS13.0 software.The genotype frequencies and allele frequencies were compared with the Chisquare test (x2 test).Results For IL-8 gene1633 C/T,the genotype frequencies (CC,20.0％ ; CT,41.2％ ; TT,38.8％) in the LOAD group were not significantly different from those (CC,11.3％ ; CT,40.0％ ; TT,48.7％) in the control group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions IL-8 gene 1633 C/T polymorphism is probably not related to the genetic susceptibility of late-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Objective To study the relation between IL-8 gene-251A/T polymorphism and delayed Alzheimer's disease (AD)in Xinjiang Han people .Methods Eighty delayed AD patients served as a delayed AD group and 80 subjects undergoing physical examination served as a control group in this study .Distribution of IL-8 gene-251A/T polymorphism in two groups was detected by PCR-RFLP .Results The distribution of genotypes and alleles was different in two groups (P=0 .023 , P= 0 .010) .Further stratified analysis showed that the frequency of A allele was significantly higher in delayed AD group than in control group (OR= 1 .851 ,95% CI:1 .159 -2 .957 ,P=0.010) ,indicating that A allele is the risk factor for delayed AD .The frequency of AA genotype was significantly higher in delayed AD group than in control group (OR=3 .370 ,95% CI:1 .143-9.939 ,P=0 .023) ,indicating that the risk of delayed AD was 3 .370-fold higher in subjects with AA genotype than in those with TT genotype .The AT genotype was not related with the risk of delayed AD (OR=1 .944 ,95% CI:0 .994-3 .803 ,P=0 .051) .Conclusion IL-8 gene-251A/T pol-ymorphism is related with the risk of delayed AD .

Objective To study the clinical application of the complete audiologic evaluation battery consisting of ABR,ASSR and behavioral audiometry in sound field for the identification of sensorineural losses in children.Methods In the study 48 children were divided as group PTA of the children assessed by pure tone audiometry and ABR and ASSR test,and group BA of the children unable to perform on behavioral evaluations.Results The analysis of the audiometric results of group PTA showed significant correlation between the ASSR thresholds and pure tone thresholds(P＜0.01) at various frequencies.The correlation coefficients were 0.75,0.76,0.76,and 0.83 at different frequencies.The ASSR-PTA linear regression was utilized.The comparison of the ABR and ASSR results of group BA indicated that 23 ears responded in ASSR but without responses in ABR.Those without ASSR responses also had no ABR There were 116 tests in total four frequencies for the 29 ears.83 responses were obtained from ASSR,89 responses from behavior audiometry and 96 from the use of the both tests.Conclusion The comprehensive audiologic evaluation battery could be used to test younger children with severe heating loss children as compared to the pure tone audiometry alone.More detailed data can be obtained thus from children to assist in rehabilitation in a more effective mariner.

Objective To observe the efficacy of intense pulsed light(IPL)incorporated with optimal pulse technology (OPT)in the treatment of rosacea.Methods Thiris-two patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea and 53 patients with papulopustular rosacea were treated with IPL-OPT for 4 sessions with an interval of 3 weeks.Patients were assessed clinically and photographically by physicians before each treatment.Skin melanin index,erythema index,sebum secretion level and water content in stratum corneum were tested at the baseline,3 weeks after each treatment,and 6 months after the last treatment.Results Three weeks after the last treatment,the effective(more than 60%improvement)rate WaS 81.18%in total,75%in erythematotelangiectatic rosacea,and 84.91%in papulopustular rosacea;there WaS no significant difference between erythematotelangiectatic rosacea and papulopustular rosacea (x2=1.28,P＞0.05).Six months after the last treatment,the total effective rate still remained at 78.82%with no significant difierence from that observed at 3 weeks after the treatment(x2=1.62,P＞0.05).The value of melanin index,erythema index and sebum secretion level decreased significantly after the final treatment,however,water content in stratum corneum remained at the salne level as that before treatment.After 6-month follow-up,no significant change was noticed in the above 4 parameters compared with those obtained at 3 weeks after the treatment.Neither hyperpigmentation nor hypopigmentation was observed during the treatment and follow-up.Conclusion This study demonstrates that IPL-OPT is an effective treatment for rosacea with relatively few side effects.

OBJECTIVE:To study pharmacokinetics of domestic and imported Phenazopyridine hydrochloride tables and bioavailability of domestic tablets, and to evaluate the bioequivalence of two kinds of tablets. METHODS: A randomized crossover design was performed in 18 healthy male volunteers. They received a single oral dose of domestic or imported tablets 200 mg. Plasma concentration of phenazopyridine hydrochloride was measured by HPLC. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated by 3p97 software and relative bioavailability was evaluated. RESULTS: The plasma concentration-time curves of domestic and imported tablets conformed to one-compartment model. Main pharmacokinetic parameters of domestic tablets vs. imported tablets were as follows: t1/2Ke(3.52?2.03) h vs. (3.18?1.85)h; tmax(0.76?0.33) h vs. (0.79?0.43)h; Cmax(76.41?70.15) ng?mL-1 vs. (75.49?70.37) ng?mL-1; AUC0～8(159.10?116.32) ng?h?mL-1 vs. (164.65?129.89) ng?h?mL-1; AUC0～∞(237.12?115.06) ng?h?mL-1 vs. (262.69?155.05) ng?h?mL-1. The relative bioavailability of domestic tablets was (96.63?14.05)% compared with imported tablet. There was no significant difference between the pharmacokinetic parameters of two formulations by variance analysis, t-test and 1-2? confidence interval method. CONCLUSION: The domestic and imported tablets are bioequivalent.

Objective To evaluate the effect of AIDS health education in university students to provide the theoretical basis for AIDS prevention in the young college students .Methods In order to know about the situation of awareness HIV/AIDS ,a general survey of HIV/AIDS related knowledge was conducted in freshmen of Dali college by self‐made questionnaire In December 2010 , then various forms of health education was took for college students ,such as theoretical study ,lecture and so on .Investigation a‐mong students once again ,and compared with the baseline survey results in December 2012 .Results The accuracy of HIV/AIDS health knowledge in the young college students after had health education was higher significantly than that before(P<0 .05);The score of AIDS elated problem have been weighted ,and awareness was defined as≥60 ;Before health education ,2 619 students knew about AIDS related knowledge ,872 students did not ,the average score was (64 .50 ± 10 .22) ,the total awareness rate was 75 .67% ;after the health education ,3 323 students know about AIDS related knowledge ,138 students did not ,the average score was (84 .94 ± 12 .68) ,the total awareness rate was 96 .01% .After continuing health education ,the total score was significantly increased (P<0 .01) .Conclusion The awareness rate of AIDS could be improved by health education in various forms and that was impor‐tant for the prevention of AIDS among college students .
