1.Research progress of relationship between microRNA and glioma
Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(12):852-855
MicroRNA (miRNA),an abundant class of small non-coding RNA,are abundant in the central nervous system where they play important roles in the neuronal development and plasticity. Moreover, the relationship between miRNA dysfunction and neurological diseases become more and more apparent.Recent studies show that the misregulated expression of miRNA out of control is closely related to the development of glioma. In this review we discussed the progress on the study of miRNA in Glioma.

4.MicroRNAs: novel crossroads of multiple myeloma treatment
Journal of Chinese Physician 2016;18(7):1118-1120
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematologic malignancy of differentiated plasma cells that accumulate in the bone marrow, where a complex microenvironment made by different cell types supports proliferation, survival, and drug resistance of tumor cells.MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression at post-transcriptional level.Emerging evidence indicates that miRNAs are aberrantly expressed or functionally deregulated in MM cells as the result of multiple genetic or epigenetic mechanisms and that also the tumor microenvironment regulates MM cell functions by miRNAs.Consistently, modulation of miRNA levels in MM cells has been demonstrated to impair their functional interaction with the bone marrow microenvironment and to produce significant antitumor activity to overcome the protective bone marrowmilieu. This review will describe the most recent findings on miRNA function in the context of MM bone marrow microenvironment, focusing on the therapeutic potential of miRNA-based approaches.
5.Impact of inflammatory response on neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(10):797-800
Nerve stem cells have the potential of self-repair and multi-differentiation.They participate in brain tissue repair after ischemic stroke. The inflammatory factors have multiple functions and can change the microenvironment of brain tissue. This article reviews the recent progress in research on the inflammation after ischemic stroke and neurogenesis, mainly focusing on the impact of inflammatory factors on stem cell survival and neurogenesis.
6.Characteristics of motor neuron differentiation from stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(49):9739-9742
Studies have shown that embryonic stem cells and neural stem ceils could be induced to differentiate into motor neurons by adding inducing factors to the culture to improve differentiation proportion of motor neurons. The development and maturation process of motor neurons in vitro culture is similar to that in embryo, involving participation of Pax6, Nk×6.1, Olig2 and HB9. Moreover, cells with HB9 as separation mark almost differentiate into motor neurons in vitro. In addition, other types of protein marks have been used for identification of motor neuronal induced differentiation, such as neuron mark MAP-2, β-tubulin-Ⅲ, cholinergic cell mark ChAT, VAChT, Schwann cell mitogen REG2, and voltage-dependent calcium ion channel 11.2 subunit. The identification of induced differentiation of motor neurons also involves detection of function of differentiated motor neurons by two methods. One method is to detect the function of in vitro cultured motor neurons, and the other is to detect the function of transplanted motor neurons in vivo. Although induced differentiation of stem cells into motor neurons becomes mature, many issues remain in clinical application, such as cell sources of induced differentiation of motor neuron, efficiency of induced differentiation, purification of differentiated motor neurons, and function of motor neurons.
7.Surgical treatment for supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hematoma by modified minicraniotomy approach and bone fragment reduction
Clinical Medicine of China 2012;28(4):423-425
Objective To explore the techniques and clinical effects of surgical treatment for supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hematoma (HICH) by modified minicraniotomy approach and bone fragment reduction. Methods The clinical data of 87 patients with supratentorial HICH in our department from April,2009 to April,2011 who received modified minicraniotomy approach and reduction of bone fragment were retrospectively reviewed. Results Of the 87 patients, three died, and the remaining 84 cases were followed up.According to the ADL( activities of daily living) scale, the patients were classified:Twenty-six cases in grade Ⅰ,28 in grade Ⅱ,22 in grade Ⅲ,6 in grade Ⅳ and 2 in grade Ⅴ.Conclusion The surgical procedure of modified minicraniotomy approach and reduction of bone fragment for treatment of supratentorial HICH has some advantages such as miniinvasion, good exposure, wide visual field, complete clearance of hematoma, integrated skull, and less complications. It is a perfect surgical procedure for supratentorial HICH.
8.Curative effect of minimally invasive surgery for patients with medium volume of hypertensive criatocapsular hemorrhage
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(20):3095-3097
Objective To observe the mini -invasive treatment for patients with medium volume of hyper-tensive criatocapsular hemorrhage. Methods 59 patients with medium volume of hypertensive criatocapsular hemor-rhage(20 -30mL)were selected and randomly divided into mini -invsasive surgery group and conservative treatment group. Two groups were compared the average length of stay, hospital costs and clinical effect. Results The avergae hospital stay (14 ±3.26)days and avergae cost (1.1 ±0.33)ten thousand yuan of the mini -invsasive surgery group was lower than those of the conservative treatment group (25 ±6.58)days and (1.8 ±0.56)ten thousand yuan],the differences were statistically significant (t =7.999,5.768,all P <0.01).After 3 months follow -up,the recovery of self -care ability after operation estimated by ADL scores in the mini -invsasive surgery group was significantly better than that in the conservative treatment group(12 /31 vs.25 /28,χ2 =16.093,P <0.01).Conclusion For patients with medium volume of hypertensive criatocapsular hemorrhage(20 -30mL),minimally invasive surgery can shorten hospital stay, reduce the financial burden of patients, and improve the prognosis significantly.
9.Study on the Pressing Time and Puncture Site Bleeding after Extubation of Superficial Venous Catheter in Elderly Patients
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(11):142-144
Objective To investigate the pressing time and puncture site bleeding after extubation of superficial venous catheter in elderly patients. Methods Four hundred elderly inpatients were selected from respiratory department during June 2015 and December 2015 and were divided into two groups:200 patients as experimental group with pressing time of 5-6 minutes and 200 patients as control group with pressing time of 3-4 minutes. The same group of nurses pressed the puncture site after extubation and changes on skin and vessels were observed, which was to find out the optimal pressing time after extubation of superficial venous catheter in elderly patients. Results The presence of bleeding, bruising, success rate of the second puncture, swelling, pain and degree of comfort were compared between two groups and significant differences were found (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with those in control group, less bleeding, bruising, swelling, and pain, higher success rate of the second puncture and lower degree of comfort were found in experimental group.
