The directions of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) development are to improve CA patients' survival rate and to decrease the poor prognosis. β-blockers can selectively block the neurotransmitter or receptor agonists. They offer beneficial pharmacological properties and have been widely used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Based on the search result of the domestic and foreign medical databases, the usage of β-blockers including clinical research, animal experiments and clinical work of CPR patients was summarized. Finally, the CPR research progress of β-blockers in recent years was reviewed in the article.
4.Attentional bias to emotional faces on individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression: an eye-tracking study
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2015;24(9):824-827
Objective To explore the attentional bias to emotional faces on individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression through eye-tracking study. Methods Center for epidemiologic studies depression scale (CES-D) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) were used to the diagnosis of 24 normal individuals and 21 depressed individuals and 24 individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression.Emotion face pictures were chosen as experiment material and discuss the mechanism of the attentional bias of individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression through the analysis of eye movement index. Results First fixation duration bias score on happy expression picture of individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression((52.60±0.06) %) was less than normal controls ((59.26±0.09) %) and the depression group((53.27±0.07)%),(F(1.66)=12.32,7.23,P<0.05).Gaze Duration Bias score on sad expression picture of individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression ((59.17±0.08) %) was more than normal controls((49.67±0.07) %),(F(1.66) =4.29,P<0.05).Conclusion Individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression show no original direction bias to sad and happy expression pictures.Original attentional avoidance and total attentional maintenance to sad expression picture exist in individuals in the remitted phase of recurrent depression.
5.P2 X7 receptor and renal diseases
Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2015;(5):629-634
P2 X7 receptor is a member of ATP-gated non-selective cation channels;and is one subtype family of the P2X purinergic receptor.Signaling pathways of P2X7 receptor couple with several key inflammatory molecules including IL-1β;IL-6 and COX-2;which suggests that P2 X7 receptor plays a key role in the development of dis-eases via increased inflammation;indicating its potential as a novel therapeutic target.Recent studies show that P2 X7 receptor has a relationship with renal diseases. This article reviews the effect of P2 X7 receptor on renal diseases and its mechanism.P2 X7 receptor may be a new drug target;and its selectivity antagonist may be a new therapeutic agent for the treatment of renal diseases.
6.Comparison of low-versus high-intensity focused ultrasound in treating pain due to chronic soft tissue injury
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2015;35(7):815-818
Objective To compare the low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in treating pain due to chronic soft tissue injury. Methods Ninety-three patients with pain due to chronic soft tissue injury, aged 18-80 yr, with body mass index of 18-31 kg/m2,course of the disease 3 months-10 yr, and pain intensity of 4-8 in a numeric rating scale, were randomly divided into 2 groups using a random number table: low intensity group (group LI, n =49) and high intensity group (group HI, n =44).In group LI, the patients received LIFU with the minimum ultrasonic intensity causing senses (acid, hemp, swelling, pain) , and the treatment was continued for 10 min.In group HI, the patients received HIFU with the focused uhrasound intensity that could not be tolerated by the patients, the treatment was continued for 1 min each time and then suspended for 1 min, and the total time for treatment was 10 min.The patients received the treatment once a day, and the course of treatment was 5 days in both groups. When numeric rating scale score > 4 during the treatment, parecoxib sodium 40 mg was injected intramuscularly as rescue analgesic. Both the therapeutic index and improvement in movement were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect, and the quality of life and depression were assessed and scored. The treatment-related adverse events were also recorded. Results The total effective rate was 98% and 84% in LI and HI groups, respectively.Compared with group HI, the total effective rate was significantly increased, the quality of life score was increased, and no significant change was found in depression score in group LI.No patients used parecoxib sodium or developed treatment-related adverse events in group LI.One patient (2%) required parecoxib sodium, the incidence of skin burns, nerve damage and abnormal pain was 4%, 2% and 2%, respectively, and no patients developed tissue swelling in group HI.Conclusion LIFU has higher therapeutic effect than HIFU in treating pain due to soft tissue injury, and the safety is good.
7.Clinical value of automatic capillary serum protein electrophoresis in liver cancer
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2016;37(17):2389-2391
Objective To investigate the clinical value of 6‐indicator of albumin ,alpha 1 globulin ,alpha 2 globulin ,beta 1 globu‐lin ,beta 2 globulin and gamma globulin detected by the automatic capillary serum protein electrophoresis in liver cancer disease . Methods Eighty‐three hospitalized patients(51 cases of primary liver cancer and 32 cases of secondary liver cancer) in our hospital from December 2014 to November 2015 were collected .The automatic biochemical analyzer and automatic capillary serum protein e‐lectrophoresis was adopted to detect the 8 indicators of serum albumin(g/L for quantitative indicator and % for qualitative indica‐tor) ,total protein ,alpha 1 globulin ,alpha 2 globulin ,beta 1 globulin ,beta 2 globulin ,gamma globulin .And 100 individuals undergo‐ing the healthy physical examination were randomly extracted as the control group .The levels of above 8 indicators were compared among various groups .Results The level of albumin(% ) and gamma globulin had statistical difference between the primary liver cancer group before treatment and the control group(P<0 .05);the levels of albumin(g/L) ,albumin(% ) ,beta 1 globulin and gam‐ma globulin had statistical difference between the primary liver cancer group after treatment and the control group(P<0 .05);the levels of albumin(g/L) and albumin(% ) after treatment in the primary liver cancer group were decreased compared with before treatment ,the difference was statistical difference(P<0 .05);the sensitivity and specificity of gamma globulin for indicating primary liver cancer were significantly higher than those of the other three indicators;at the same time in the comparison of the positive rate of serum gamma globulin ,the positive rate of serum gamma globulin in the primary liver cancer group was higher than that in the secondary liver cancer group and the control group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The automatic capillary serum protein electrophoresis detection finds that gamma globulin has some clinical value in the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer .
8.Optimal management of benign thyroid nodules
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2016;32(8):707-710
[Summary] Thyroid nodules are a common clinical problem, the majority of which are regarded as benign nodules by initial fine-needle aspiration biopsy(FNAB) or ultrasound characteristics. Given the low false negative rate of ultrasound-guided FNAB cytology and the higher yield of missed malignancies based upon nodule sonographic pattern, a routine sonographic surveillance is recommended to the thyroid nodules with benign cytology. If there are any sonographic evidence of growth or development of new suspicious sonographic features, the FNAB could be repeated. Treatment for benign thyroid nodules includes medications, percutaneous ethanol injection, thermal ablation and surgery. In order to avoid over-treatment, the potential harm and benefits of any intervention should be assessed.
9.Application of Microperimeter in the Visual Function Evaluation
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;(3):194-196
In condition of direct vision on fundus of eye, microperimeter can quantitatively detect the retinal light sensitivity of macular area, and record real time tracking of the eye, automatically analyze the location and stability of fixation. Microperimeter matches fundus image with micro cyclogram point-to-point, thus it achieves the combination of visual function and structure. The characteristics of microperimeter have good relations with subjective vision, so it can be a new method for the accurate vision evaluation and has application potential to assess the visual function in legal medicine. In this ar-ticle, we summarize the principle, method and parameters of microperimeter. Also, the applications of microperimeter in vision assessment are focused in order to provide a reference for the assessment of visual function in the legal medicine.
10.Discussion of difficult problems of early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;30(8):734-736
Pancreatic cancer is a common malignant neoplasm of the pancreas with an extremely high mortality.Currently, the early diagno-sis of pancreatic cancer is still not ideal.Attention should be paid to some clinical warning symptoms, such as unexplained abdominal and back pain, jaundice, and unexpected diabetes.Additionally, the combined use of CA19-9,CEA,and other tumor markers, the attention to biochemical indicators, the detection of mutation in KAI1 or p53 gene, and the exploration of the value of miRNA in clinical diagnosis are of great significance. On the other hand,ultrasound,CT,MRCP,ERCP,PET-CT,and other imaging methods,as well as effective col-lection of cytology specimens, should be performed. Thus, there is hope for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
