Thyroid nodule has an increasing prevalence during pregnancy,which might caused by the change of internal environment.The research regarding the potential factors of thyroid nodule in pregnancy and approach for the pregnant with thyroid nodule is ongoing.So what's reviewed here is about the specialties of thyroid nodule in pregnancy and the strategies for them.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the preventive and therapeutic effects of Danshen Decoction on gastric ulcer in experimental animal models. METHODS: The model of water immersion restraint stress ulcer in mice, and the models of acetic acid impaired gastric ulcer and pyloric ligation gastric ulcer in rats were established. The total gastric acid, the activity of pepsin and the amount of gastric wall binding mucus were detected. RESULTS: Danshen Decoction reduced the acute gastric mucosal lesion. The effect of 5.0 or 10.0 g/kg group was obviously better than that of the normal saline control group (P<0.05 and P<0.01 respectively). Danshen Decoction accelerated the healing of ulcer induced by acetic acid significantly, and increased the content of gastric wall binding mucus (P<0.01); and it also inhibited the formation of gastric ulcer induced by pyloric ligation, while having no influence on the secretion of gastric acid and the activity of pepsin. CONCLUSION: Danshen Decoction has a significant anti-ulcerative effect, which may be related to improving the gastric mucosal defensive function.

Objective To clone and characterize the NADH1 gene of Cysticercus cellulosae. \ Methods\ A \{cDNA\} library was constructed from Cysticercus cellulosae and was immunoscreened by using rabbit anti\|Cysticercus cellulosae \{polyclonal\} antibody. The gene structure and its possible function were analyzed by comparing with sequences available in the GenBank, after the insert of positive clone was subcloned and the nucleotide sequence of the insert was \{determined\} by dideoxynucleotide chain termination method. \ Results and Conclusion \ A cDNA clone (named TS5) with a length of \{1 082\} bp was isolated. The 5′ terminal of cloned gene contained one open reading frame of 1-578 bp encoding 192 amino acid residues of mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 and the 3′ terminal contained three kinds of tRNA genes.

Objective To understand the effect of environment variables on anxiety in the soldiers at high altitude.Methods A total of 267 soldiers at high altitude were investigated with the self-rating anxiety scale,the environmental scale and Eysenck personality questionnaire.Results Compared with norm(29.78±0.46),the soldiers at high altitude had higher sore of anxiety(37.22±6.64;t=17.92,P＜0.01).One-way ANOVA and independent.samples t test showed that the anxiety(38.37±5.93,36.65±6.951,36.75±6.88)of military people at high altitude had not evidently difference in different altitude(≥3587.5m,3587.5～2767.9m,≤2767.9m).Parental culture.length of military service(F=3.25,P＜0.05)and neuroticism(R=0.52,P＜0.01)had evidently effect on the depression of soldiers.Conclusion The occurrence of anxiety in the soldiers at high altitude has a higher level.Parental culture.1ength of military service and neuroticism had predictive value for depression.

Objective:To investigate the effect of initiator on pulsed Nd:YAG laser in the acid resistance of human teeth in vitro. Methods:A total of 25 enamel-samples and 25 dentine-samples were divided into laser plus initiator (a layer of Beijing black ink) group and laser only group.Each of the two groups was divided into five subgroups.The samples in the 5 subgroups were irritated by Na:YAG laser with an energy(J/cm2) of 0,20,30,40 and 50 respectively. Then all samples were immersed in 0.1 mol/L lactic acid demineralization solutions(pH 4.5) for 48 h at 37 ℃. The concentration of Ca 2+ (?10 -6 g) dissolved in the solution was measured by the calcium selective electrode. In this study, endogenous digoxin-like substance (EDLS) in the plasma was measured by radioimmunoassay in patients with congestive heart failure The EDLS levels were significantly increased in patients with heart failure and were positively correlated correlated with the heart function state, Na~+/K~+-ATPasc activity in red cells and the electrolyte change in blood cells. We believed that digoxin-like substance may participatc in the process of the compensatory mechanirsms of the heart failure.

· AIM: To investigate the possibility of FLK-1 as a therapeutic agent for choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in mouse by FLK1 monoclonal antibody.· METHODS: CNV was induced in C57BL/6 mouse eyes by krypton laser photocoagulation. Preoperatively and on the 3rd, 6th and 9th day after photocoagulation, the animals were intraperitoneally injected with 500μg FLK1 monoclonal antibody. Choroidal fluorescein angiography and histopathological examination were used to assess the development of experimental CNV quantitatively 10 days after laser treatment.· RESULTS: Laser-induced CNV developed in all lesions on the 10th day after the operation. The development of CNV was significantly inhibited in experimental group, indicated by choroidal fluorescein angiography and histopathological examination (P＜0.001).· CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that FLK-1 may be a promising agent for anti-angiogenesis therapy for CNV.
