Objective To investigate the clinic value of enhanced CT-guided percutaneously transthoracic lung biopsy. Methods A total of 423 patients who underwent CT-guided percutaneously transthoracic lung biopsy were retrospectively analyzed. The percentage of specimen are satisfactory, the rate of sample with pathological findings, the number of cases with complications, the average goes of unsuccessful biopsy and the times of changing puncture point were compared between the enhanced CT group and the plain CT group. Results Compare parameters in patients whose procedure were guided with the enhanced CT group and with plain CT group, the average goes of unsuccessful biopsy, the times of changing puncture point in patients, the percentage of specimen that were satisfactory, the rate of sample with positive pathological findings and the rate that complicated with pneumothorax or hemorrhage show statistical significance.(3.08±1.05 vs 3.75±1.34, 8.52%vs 18.54%,90.13%vs 73.60%, 76.62%vs 63.36%, 15.51%vs 27.53%, 7.76%vs 14.04%, P<0.05). Conclusion In patient whose biopsys were guided by enhanced CT, the percentage of samples that are satisfactory is higher, the incidence of complication is fewer and the sample with pathological finding is higher compared to those in patients whose biopsys were guided by plain CT. Therefore, enhanced CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic biopsy is more valuable than plane CT.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(10):-
5-lipoxygenase (5LO) is the key enzyme in the synthesis of leukotrienes, which are potent biological mediators of inflammation and anaphylaxis. After lock out of the 5LO gene by homologous recombination in embryonic stem cells, 5LO deficient-mice can develop normally and stay healthy, with a selective opposition to certain inflammatory insults. The cellular distribution of 5LO in unstimulated cells among different cell types is different; it can present in the cytosol, the nucleus, or both. 5LO was also found capable of shuttling in and out of the nucleus under certain conditions. It is suggested that 5LO might have other functions besides its traditional catalytic role.

China Oncology 2016;26(7):601-607
Background and purpose:Cancer microenvironment has become a hot topic of cancer research. It is important in the initiation of colorectal cancer. This study aimed to discuss the correlation between the characteristics of tissue culturein vitro and different cell types in cancer microenvironment. Methods:Samples were collected at different distances from the colorectal cancer lesions, which were named as positions 1, 2 and 3 from distal to proximal. Tissues were cut into 1-2 mm3 forin vitro culturing. HE staining was used to observe the structure of crypts. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of Cyclin D1 (CD1), CD133, cytokeratin18 (CK18), vimentin and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA).Results:Position 3 grew faster than position 2 and position 1. As getting closer to the colorectal cancer lesions, expressions of CD1, CD133, vimentin and α-SMA were increased while expression of CK18 was decreased. Conclusion:The tissue structure and the expression of different cell types in cancer microenvironment changed more seriously as get-ting closer to the colorectal cancer lesions. This indicated that the change of cancer microenvironment may contribute to the initiation of colorectal cancer.

Objective · To investigate the correlation between proportion of natural killer (NK) cells and dendritic cells (DCs) and liver injury in patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Methods · Peripheral blood samples were collected from 65 patients with chronic HBV infection and 10 healthy volunteers (HCs group). Flow cytometry was used to detect the proportion of peripheral NK cells and DCs. The patient were divided into asymptomatic HBV carrier (AsCs) group, chronic hepatitis B in low or moderate grade (CHB-LM) group, and chronic severe hepatitis B (CSHB)group. The relationship of the proportion of NK cells, the proportion of DCs, and the ratio of NK/DC with the degree of liver injury was analyzed. Results · The proportion of peripheral NK cells was significantly lower in CHB-LM group (9.29%±1.20%) and CSHB group (3.60%±0.79%) than that in HCs group (14.77%±2.90%) and AsCs group (14.05%±2.32%) (P=0.000). And the proportion of peripheral DCs was significantly higher in CHB-LM group (4.10%±1.18%) than that in HCs (1.67%±0.31%), AsCs (2.05%±0.46%) and CSHB groups (2.08%±0.41%) (P=0.000). The ratio of NK/DC was decreased in CSHB and CHB-LM groups compared to that in HCs and AsCs groups (P=0.000). The correlation analysis indicated the proportion of NK cells was negatively correlated with the levels of ALT, AST, TB and DB (r=-0.50, r=-0.49, r=-0.53, r=-0.51, P=0.000 for all) in patients with chronic HBV infection. Conclusion · The proportion of peripheral NK cells and the ratio of NK/DC in patients with chronic hepatitis B were decreased. The decrease of the frequency of NK cells and the ratio of NK/DC were associated with liver injury in patients with chronic HBV infection.
