1.Advances in the Anandamide
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2001;28(2):152-155
Anandamide (N-arachidonoylethanolamide), an arachidonic acid derivative, is an endogenous ligand for cannabinoid receptors, which are m embers of the G protein (Gi)-coupled receptors family. Ananamide is mainly foun d in central nervous system, immune system and uterus etc and mimics most of the effects of (-)Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinoid [(-)Δ9-THC], a psyco active derivative of marijuana. Fatty-acid amide hydrolase (FAAH), which is inv olved in hydrolyzing anandamide to arachidonic acid and ethanolamide, may quickl y regulate level of anandamide in vivo.
2.Analysis of Youth Science Fund projects of 11 colleges and universities in 2001-2009
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2011;24(2):105-108
This study analyzed the average annual growth rate of Youth Science Fund projects and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar in 11 colleges and universities. Those projects were funded by the department of life science of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2001- 2009.The average annual growth rate was calculated by Algebraic average method. The results showed that:① the average annual growth rate of Youth Science Fund project rose or dropped with the rise or drop of average annual growth rate of Science Fund Project.② the rapid growth of Youth Science Fund projects may enhance the ability of colleges and universities to gain National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar.③ the capability of colleges and universities to gain life science project funded by NSFC is not balanced among different regions, and this gap is widening, and ④ to narrow the gap between disciplines, greater effort is needed to train outstanding young scholars.
3.Progress on Effects of Uterine Fibroids on Endometrial Receptivity
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2016;(1):84-87
[Summary] Endometrial receptivity plays an important role in embryo implantation, and uterine fibroids is the most common benign tumor in reproductive women. In recent years, research has showed that uterine fibroids may have an effect on endometrial receptivity through the change of endometrial morphology and biochemical molecules. From the angle of effects of uterine fibroids on endometrial receptivity, this paper studied infertile patients, which may have a new idea to diagnose and treat infertility caused by uterine fibroids.
4.Effect of nutritional risk on incidence of pressure ulcer in hospitalized elderly patients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(19):14-17
Objective To investigate the effects of nutritional risk on incidence of pressure ulcer in hospitalized elderly patients, and to provide a basis for medical staff to carry out effective preventive measures. Methods Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) and nutrition index were applied in 150 elderly patients in the department of neurology for screening and evaluation of nutritional risk. Then the effect of nutritional risk on incidence of pressure ulcer in elderly patients was analyzed. Results 86 cases with nutritional risk and 64 cases without nutritional risk were found. The incidence of pressure ulcer was 16.67% and 42.67% respectively. The comparison was made among hemoglobin, serum albumin,pre-albu-min and total lymphocyte count, the difference was statistically significant between the two groups. The incidence of pressure ulcer in elderly patients with nutritional risk was 6.99 times higher than those without nutritional risk. Conclusions To given nutritional risk screening, active and reasonable nutritional support plan to hospitalized elderly patients can reduce the incidence of pressure ulcer.
5.Review on the Safety of Deep Acupuncture at Tianshu(ST 25)
Acupuncture Research 2010;0(03):-
Tianshu (ST 25) is a frequently-used acupoint in acupuncture practice. It is reported that deep acupuncture has a better therapeutic effect than routine depth acupuncture. On the basis of reviewing the available literature, the present paper gives a definition about "deep acupuncture" of Tianshu (ST 25) from the anatomy angle, and makes a summary about its safety. This paper also puts forward a set of operation standards for needling Tianshu (ST 25). Moreover, the authors of the present paper also make a systematic analysis on the factors affecting the safety from the punctured depth, the diameter of the acupuncture needle and the operation technique. These methods and standards have an important significance in guiding clinical practice of acu-puncture.
6."Discussion on Shengyang Sanhuo Decoction with Plum-blossom Needle Therapy for Hemodialysis Patients with Restless Legs Syndrome from ""Yin Fire"" Theory"
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;24(6):119-120
Restless legs syndrome is one of the common complications of maintenance hemodialysis. At present, there is no exact efficacy of Western medicine treatment. Deficiency of spleen and kidney, and deficiency of qi and blood are the TCM pathogenesis for this syndrome. LI Dong-yuan's theory of Yin Fire based on deficiency of spleen and stomach, down in the kidney, and clear Yang not rising. The creation of Shengyang Sanhuo Decoction can enrich Yang Dao and scatter Yin Fire. Yang three needles can warm yang, tonify qi and invigorate the kidney, and has a yang from yin therapeutic effect. Syndrome differentiation of medicine and acupuncture is consistent with the pathogenesis of restless legs syndrome in hemodialysis patients. It can provide new ideas and new targets for optimization of TCM treatment, and provide low cost, simple and effective treatment mode for primary hospitals.
7.Maxillofacial Hemangioma in Children: A clinic Analysis of the Treatment by Nd:YAG Laser
Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To investigate the new and non-surgical treatment of hemangioma. Methods Totally 53 patients with hemangioma were treated with Nd: YAG laser in our department in recent years. Surface irradiation was used for 6 cases with port wine stain and interstitial irradiation for 14 cases with carvernous hemangioma and the two methods for 9 cases with strawberry hemangioma and 24 cases with mixed hemangioma. Results all the 53 patients were followed-up for 3 years.lesions of 48 cases were removed completely, and lesions of 3 cases were significantly controlled. Only 2 cases were failed in this treatment. Conclusion Resection of maxillofacial hemangioma in children by ND:YAAG laser is a reliable and effective method.
9.A comparative analysis on distal movement of molar measured on mode and cephalometric radiograph
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
0.05). Conclusion: The measurements of molar distal movement on model are smilar to those on cephalometric radiograph.
10.Application of bonding appliance combined with protracting mask to treat early primary crossbite
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective: To evaluate the effect of a new method to treat early primary crossbite . Methods: 20 cases (2.8~6.5 years old ) with anterior crossbite were treated by bonding appliance combined with protracting mask. Cephalometric radiographs were taken and analyzed before and after treatment. Results: On average,in all the 20 cases the maxilla were moved 2.06 mm forward ,mandibular were turned 2.45?downward and backward ,the anterior crossbite was corrected and the face profile was improved satisfactorily. The treatment was conducted for 1.7 months on average. Conclusion: Using bonding appliance combined with protracting mask to treat early primary crossbite can achieve good effects for young children .
