Objective To investigate the effect of resveratrol on levels of serum interleukin family of acute hemorrhagic shock patients and study its protective effect for secondary heart and lungs injury. Methods 42 cases of acute hemorrhagic shock were collected and divided into experimental group and control group according to different drugs treatment, each group had 21 cases.Control group were given continuous low flow oxygen, fluid infusion and other basic treatment, given blood transfusion if necessary. On the basis of control group, experimental group was given resveratrol 30 mg/kg, orally, one time per day for 4 consecutive weeks. The life index were detected during the treatment period. Then the levels of serum CK, LDH, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12, LVP, +dp/dtmax ,-dp /dtmax and arterial blood gas of all patients were detected after treatment.ResuIts Compared with control group, the levels of CK and LDH in experimental group decreased significantly (P<0.05);IL-6, IL-10, IL-12 levels decreased significantly (P<0.05).LVP,+dp /dtmax , -dp /dtmax level increased significantly ( P<0.05 ); PaCO2 and pH levels decreased significantly, the level of PaO2 increased significantly (P<0.05).ConcIusion Resveratrol can significantly reduce the serum IL-6, IL-10, IL-12l, reduce the CK, LDH level of hemorrhagic shock patients, and alleviate the injury of heart and lung.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of PDGF and PDGFR and MVC in human gastric carcinoma. Methods The expression of PDGF and PDGFR in 57 cases with gastric carcinoma was detected by immunohistochemical method of avidin-biotin complex in formalin-fixed and routinely paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Results The expression of PDGF and PDGFR was significantly related to the infiltrative depth and regional lymph nodes metastasis of gastric carcinoma. The positive rates of PDGF and PDGFR in the cases with invasive depth over 2/3 muscular layer were 61 8% and 58 8% respectively, which were obviously higher than those(26 1%, 26 1%) in the ones with invasive depth less 2/3 muscular layer(P

Objective To investigate the earlier diagnostic methods and operative procedures of gastric remnant cancer. Methods Clinicopathologic data of 19 cases of gastric remnant cancer were retrospectively analysed, and the diagnostic value of the gastroscopy and barium meal was compared.Influencing the prognosis of gastric remnant cancer treated by different operations according to the situation seen during operation were observed. Results The diagnostic rate of gastroscopy and barium meal was 78.9% and 47.4%, respectively. All the 5 cases who underwent radical remnant gastrectomy sarvived≥3 years postoperatively. Two of the 3 cases who underwent palliative remnant gastrectomy survived 2 years and 1 alived 1.5 years postoperatively. In 6 cases of gastrojejunostomy, 4 cases died within half year, 2 cases died 12.5 and 14 months postoperatively. Conclusions The diagnostic value of gastroscopy takes advantage over barium meal examination. The patients who treated by radical remnant gastrectomy have better prognosis.

Indoor transfer lift is a useful technical assistant to assist the nursing of mobility impaired person, and the high-end product even make it possible that the disabled to live an independent living. The features of market available transfer lifts are discussed and the standard ISO 10535 (Hoists for the transfer of disabled persons--Requirements and test methods) is briefly introduced. The component parts and their function of rail lift are introduced in detail.

Objective To investigate the expressions of IL-8,MCP-1 and MIP-1? and their biological significance in pancreatic carcinoma and chronic pancreatitis, and investigate the relationships of their expressions in pancreatic cancer tissues. Methods Immunohistochemical method of avidin-biotin complex was used to examine surgically removed specimens from 51 cases of pancreatic carcinoma and 10 cases of chronic pancreatitis. Results The positive rates of expression and the scorings of IL-8,MCP-1,MIP-1? were significantly higher in pancreatic carcinoma than that in chronic pancreatitis(P

In the study of oral orthodontics, the dental tissue models play an important role in finite element analysis results. Currently, the commonly used alveolar bone models mainly have two kinds: the uniform and the non-uniform models. The material of the uniform model was defined with the whole alveolar bone, and each mesh element has a uniform mechanical property. While the material of the elements in non-uniform model was differently determined by the Hounsfield unit (HU) value of computed tomography (CT) images where the element was located. To investigate the effects of different alveolar bone models on the biomechanical responses of periodontal ligament (PDL), a clinical patient was chosen as the research object, his mandibular canine, PDL and two kinds of alveolar bone models were constructed, and intrusive force of 1 N and moment of 2 Nmm were exerted on the canine along its root direction, respectively, which were used to analyze the hydrostatic stress and the maximal logarithmic principal strain of PDL under different loads. Research results indicated that the mechanical responses of PDL had been affected by alveolar bone models, no matter the canine translation or rotation. Compared to the uniform model, if the alveolar bone was defined as the non-uniform model, the maximal stress and strain of PDL were decreased by 13.13% and 35.57%, respectively, when the canine translation along its root direction; while the maximal stress and strain of PDL were decreased by 19.55% and 35.64%, respectively, when the canine rotation along its root direction. The uniform alveolar bone model will induce orthodontists to choose a smaller orthodontic force. The non-uniform alveolar bone model can better reflect the differences of bone characteristics in the real alveolar bone, and more conducive to obtain accurate analysis results.
