Warm cough is common in clinical practice. This article summarized the medical cases of warm cough after cold, chronic bronchitis and interstitial lung disease treated by Qinxing Shigan Decoction combined with Lianqin Zhidanshao Decoction, and discussed the syndrome characteristics.

Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decocotion is a famouse prescription recorded in Treatise on Febrile Diseases. In this article,the application of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction is discussed in treating gynaecological diseases through the cases of dysmenorrhea, climacteric syndrome, hypogalactia and hysteria. The mechanism is also expounded.

The present hospital information systems are analyzed,with finding that hospital information isolated island phenomenon getting worse due to failure of interconnection of various systems and equipment vendors with different technologies.An integrated platform based on an enterprise service bus is proposed for hospital information,which can be connected into these heterogeneous systems,effectively minimizing the inter-system coupling,and achieving data and service interconnection,enabling an integrated and intelligent hospital architecture.

Objective To study the effects of citrullinated vimentin (cVim) on the maturation and immunologic function of dendritic cells (DCs) from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) peripheral blood.Methods In the present study,mononuclear cells were isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with RA and cultivated in media containing GM-CSF and IL-4 to generate immature DCs (imDCs).The imDCs generated were stimulated with citrullinated vimentin and vimentin.LPS was used as the positive control and PBS was used as the negative control.The expression of surface molecules on the DCs,such as CD14,CD80,CD83,CD86,MHC Ⅰ and MHC Ⅱ were analyzed with FACS.The capability of the stimulatory activity of the DCs on allogeneic T cells in mixed reaction was tested by MTS.t-test was used for statistical analysis.Results Compared to untreated DCs,DCs treated with LPS increased the expression levels of MHC Ⅱ,CD80,CD83 and CD86 (1.07±0.14,1.25±0.13,1.90±1.08,2.44±0.65,P＜0.05),while cVim increased the expression levels of MHC Ⅱ ( 1.18±0.09,P＜0.05) and CD83 ( 1.97±0.99,P＜0.01 ),and Vim decreased the expression levels of CD80 (0.82±0.18,P＜0.01 ).It was demonstrated that the expression levels of MHC Ⅱ on DCs pulsed with cVim were significantly higher than that of the DCs with LPS,but the expression levels of CD80 and CD86 were not significantly different.The expression levels of MHC Ⅱ and CD83 on DCs pulsed with cVim were significantly higher than that of the DCs with Vim.The mixed lymphocyte reaction showed that the DCs induced by LPS and cVim trigerred the proli-feration of allogenic T cells obviously.Conclusion This result suggests that cVim could promote the phenotypic maturation of DCs and increase the expression of costimulatory molecules.

BACKGROUND:Nano-size inorganic filling greatly improves mechanic characteristic of composite resin.However,its effects on pulp tissue remain unclear.OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the biocompatibility of FiltekTM Z350 nano-composite resin on dog pulp tissue by means of histology observation.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Randomized control animal experiment was performed at the animal experiment center of Fuzhou General Hospital,Nanjing Military Area Command of Chinese PLA from April 2007 to April 2008.MATERIALS:Sixty healthy teeth from three adult male beagle dogs were recruited in this study.METHODS:Buccal Class V deep cavities were prepared in beagle dogs,which were then divided into four groups at random.FiltekTM Z350 resin,Dyract AP compomer and TPH resin were used to restore the cavities in three testing groups and glass ionomer cement was used as control.All cavities were treated with Clearfil SE BOND before filling.Intact healthy teeth were used as blank control.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The pulp condition of each tooth was studied histologically.The remaining dentine thickness of each cavity was measured.RESULTS:After 7 days,mild inflammatory response was observed in most of the specimens.After 30 and 90 days,normal histological characteristics were observed in almost all specimens except TPH resin group.The histological structure disturbance of dentin cell layer emerged in some specimens of TPH group,which was higher than other testing groups(P 0.05).CONCLUSION:FiltekTM Z350 nano-composite resin has similar biocompatibility as Dyract AP compomer and glass ionomer cement,better than TPH resin.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of technologies for arteriovenous malformation(AVM ) ,which are skull to boneless head CTA by surface shaded display technique (hereinafter referred to as the SSD‐CTA technology) .Methods Totally 27 patients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University were selected ,which were diagnosed with AVM by VCTDSA .The original data to our hospital CT workstation were imported ,SSD‐CTA technology to bone reconstruction were performed ,and the data of the two groups were compared .Another 5 patients in our hospital which were diagnosed with AVM by SSD‐CTA examination were selected ,and compared the results with DSA .Results The quality score of SSD‐CTA reconstructed image was less than that of VCTDSA ,but the diagnosis of the two technologies for AVM had no significant statistical difference (P>0 .05) .The number of AVM patients from our hospital wsa too less to do the statistical analysis .The detail resolution of SSD‐CTA was less than DSA ,but the diagnosis of SSD‐CTA was consistent with DSA .Conclusion SSD‐CTA has clinical practical val‐ue ,can be used as a check ,intracranial venous malformation diagnosis .

Objective To analyze the changes of ultrasonography and Ki-67 before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer ,and to assess the value of ultrasonography and Ki-67 in the evaluation of neoadju-vant chemotherapy for breast cancer. Methods The focus changes of 122 cases of breast cancer before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy were observed by Color Doppler ultrasonography. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by RECIST standard,and the changes of Ki-67 before and after chemotherapy were observed. Results There were significant differences in size and internal blood flow signal of breast cancer before and after chemotherapy (P <0.05). The sensitivity of ultrasonography in the evaluation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer was 89.3%and specificity 53.8%. The clinical efficiency of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer with high Ki-67 expression was higher than that with low Ki-67 expression. Conclusion Ultrasonography shows high clinical value in the evaluation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer ,and the expression of Ki-67 could predict the effi-cacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Objective To investigate the significance of miR-193b to biological behaviors of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods 48 cases of HCC specimens and corresponding adjacent tissues were collected, and the miR-193b expression levels in these specimens were measured by real-time quantitative PCR. The miR-193b expression was measured by the same way in HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cells. The HepG2 and SMMC-7721 were transfected with miR-193b mimics or negative control miRNA mimic with Lipofectamine 2000, and the non-transfected cells were taken as blank control. The proliferation ability of the HCC cells were detected by MTT method, and the apoptosis rate was tested by flow cytometry. Results The expression level of miR-193b in HCC tissues (2.441 ±0.569) was significantly lower than that in the corresponding adjacent tissues (15.488±4.326) (P < 0.05). Compared with normal liver cell line L-O2, the expression levels of miR-193b were significantly lower in HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cells. Transfected with miR-193b mimic, the proliferation ability of HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cells were reduced, while their apoptosis were increased. Conclusion miR-193b may be negative to regulate the proliferation of HCC and increase its apoptosis.

Objective:To develop a new method of manufacture of presurgical nasal stent by computer-aided design and manufactur-ing(CAD/CAM)technique for infants with cleft palate and nasal deformity.Methods:A neonate with unilateral lip and palate cleft and nasal deformity was recruited.The nose-lip area was scanned by a 3D human body scanner and transformed into 3D digital model by the reverse engineering software.The nasal data of the normal side was mirrored to cover the deformed side and processed by the re-verse engineering software,which became the original data of the presurgical nasal stent.Nasal stent was manufactured by rapid proto-typing machine.The stent was applied for the patient to correct the nasal deformity.Results:The original data of the nose-lip area were obtained via scanning within 0.1 second,and the 3D model was reconstructed by the reverse engineering software.The nasal stent made by CAD/CAMtechnique matched perfectly with the models and fitted well when tried on the patient's face.The appearance of the deformed nose was obviously improved by the nasal stent.Conclusion:CAD/CAMtechnologies can be used in the design and manu-facture of individual nasal stent for infants with cleft palate and nasal deformity.

Objective To explore the effect of artificial and computer-assisted cognitive training on visuospatial impairment. Methods63 patients with visuospatial impairment were randomly assigned to artificial group (n=21), computer-assisted training group (n=21) and integrationgroup (n=21). The artificial group received conventional cognitive training while the computer-assisted training group used computerto assist cognitive training, and the integration group combined computer with conventional cognitive training. All groups were assessedwith Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (LOTCA). Results All groups improved significantly after training(P<0.001). There were no significant difference between 3 groups in visual perception, spatial perception, and motor praxis after training.Compared to the computer-assisted training group, the integration group and the artificial group improved more significantly in visuomotororganization after training. Conclusion Artificial cognitive training and computer-assisted training can effectively improve the cognitivefunction of patients with visuospatial impairment.
