Hepatic stellate cell (HSC) activation is closely associated with the progression of liver fibrosis. As an important component of the innate immune system, natural killer (NK) cells are enriched in the liver and play a key role in host defense against viral infection and tumor, and their anti-fibrotic effect has also been confirmed.NK cells can reduce liver fibrosis by killing early-activated or senescent HSCs or secreting interferon-γ.This article summarizes related research advances in recent years, and introduces the molecular immunological mechanism of NK cells in regulating HSCs and their potential anti-fibrotic effect based on the function and phenotype of NK cells and HSCs.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
The spatial structure of hemolymph node in the rat is studied by light, transmission and scanning electron microscopy after the fixation of arterial perfusion. The structure of hemolymph node is similar to that of the normal lymph node, and main characteristic is that a number of the red cells are seen in it. The erythrocytes were carried to the afferent lymphatic vessel and reach the medullary sinus, many erythrocytes travel through the rsubcapsula and cortical sinuses, and reach the lymphatic tissue of the local cortex with selectivity, and going through the paracortical zone and the sinus wall to the medulary sinus. Most of the red blood cells are phagocytosed by macrophages in the sinuses. The subcapsular and cortical sinuses of hemolymph nodes connect with medullary sinuses, and form a reticular lymphatic passage. Reticular cells in the sinuses constitute a spatial each other. There are macrophages, lymphocytes, plasmocytes and numerous red blood cells in the nets. Macrophages are anchored on the reticular cells by their pseudopodla, traping and phagocytosing the red cells and foreign matters. Sometimes a macrophage is found closely associated with lymphocytes.

Objective:To explore the effect of different hemoperfusion times on the recovery of serum cholinesterase (ChE) in patients with severe acute oral organophosphorus pesticide poisoning (AOPP).Methods:This was a retrospective case-control study. Patients with severe AOPP admitted to our hospital were identified between January 2010 and December 2019. The clinical information of patients with severe AOPP was collected between January 2010 and December 2019, the patient's ChE vitality levels were collected on admission, at 1, 3 and 5 days after admission, and the sex, age, oral poison volume, and related treatments were recorded as well. The relationship between ChE, different HP treatment times and patients without HP treatment was analyzed by generalized estimation equations and multiple comparisons afterward. Results:A total of 159 patients with severe AOPP were included in our study. Among them, 60 (37.74%) patients were male and 99 (62.26%) were female, with a median age of 33 years old (range 13-75 years old). The median oral dose of OPs was 75 mL (range 15-500 mL). Multivariate analysis results showed that in the unadjusted generalized estimation equation, compared with patients without HP treatment, the average ChE value of patients with single HP treatment was 745.6 U/L higher (95% CI: 467.09 - 1024.1; P<0.01), the average ChE value of patients with 2 times HP treatment was 565.81 U/L higher (95% CI: 384.25-747.36; P<0.01), and the average ChE value of patients with 3 times HP treatment was 43.86 U/L higher (95% CI: 420.71-1 067.01; P<0.01), the differences were all statistically significant. After adjusting the amount of oral OPs at admission, age and PSS score in the multiple generalized estimation equations, the results showed that whatever single HP treatment or multiple HP treatment, the recovery rate of ChE was significantly faster than those without HP treatment. And the multiple comparison results of multiple models showed that the difference between 3 times HP treatment and 1 to 2 times HP treatment was not statistically significant, and the average difference between 2 times HP treatment and single HP treatment was also not statistically significant. Conclusions:Hemoperfusion therapy can accelerate the recovery rate of ChE in AOPP patients; Whatever single HP treatment or multiple HP treatments, the recovery rate of ChE in AOPP patients has no significant difference.

In the study of cardiac activity, manual determination of local activation times is a time-consuming process that precludes the application of cardiac activity during a clinical procedure or an electrophysiologic experiment. Based on former bipolar algorithm and unipolar algorithm, this paper presents a novel method. Using unipolar electrograms and bipolar electrograms simultaneously, this method determines the activation times with good accuracy.

Objective To study the effects of early application of integrated traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)and western medicine and massage on the incidence and severity of pneumonia and prognosis in the therapeutic course of infants with cytomegalovirus(CMV)infection infantile cholestatic hepatopathy(ICH)accompanied by gastric volvulus(GV). Methods A prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted. 120 infants 1-6 months old with CMV infection ICH and complicated with GV inpatients were divided into treatment group and control group (each,60 cases). The TCM Lidanheji(consisting of artemisiae capillaris 30 g,weeping forsythia 30 g,Chinese goldthread 5 g,prepared rhubarb 5 g,unpeeled root of herbaceous peony 30 g,cassia 5 g,fruit of citron or trifoliate orange 10 g,large-headed atractylodes 10 g,fruit of Chinese magnoliavine 10 g,pangolin scale 3 g and licorice root 5 g)for oral administration or enema and ganciclovir intravenous injection were given to both groups. In the control group, based on the above treatment, postural and diet therapy, prokinetics(domperidone)were given in cases with GV. The massage treatment was only applied for treatment of GV in treatment group. The pneumonia in both groups was treated in accord to the conventional diagnosis and treatment for infantile pneumonia, bronchiolitis, severe pneumonia and the guide and management of infantile community acquired pneumonia. The total number of cases with pneumonia and its severity occurring before and after treatment in the course of the disease, the clinical therapeutic effects of ICH, GV and infantile pneumonia, the clinical physical signs, biochemical indexes and the time of hospitalization were observed and compared between the two groups. Results Compared with control group, after treatment the curative rate and total effective rate of ICH,GV,infant pneumonia in treatment group were significantly higher〔the curative rate of ICH:83.05%(49/59)vs. 71.93%(41/57),total effective rate:96.61%(57/59)vs. 91.23%(52/57);the curative rate of GV:72.88%(43/59)vs. 51.79%(29/56),total effective rate:96.61%(57/59)vs. 78.57%(44/56);the curative rate of infant pneumonia:81.08%(30/37)vs. 67.44%(29/43),total effective rate:100%(37/37)vs. 100%(43/43),P<0.05 or P<0.01〕. In the treatment group, the total number of cases with pneumonia occurring in the therapeutic course and the incidence of severe pneumonia were significantly less than those in the control group〔the occurrence of pneumonia:12 cases vs. 21 cases, the incidence of severe pneumonia:16.67%(2/12) vs. 42.86%(9/21),P<0.05 or P<0.01〕. The enlargement of liver and spleen, the level of total bilirubin(TBil), direct bilirubin(DBil),total bile acids(TBA)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)in two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, the changes being more marked in treatment group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The time of stay in hospital in treatment group was remarkably shortened(days:21.32±3.26 vs. 27.38±6.09, P<0.05). Conclusion Early interference with combined TCM and western medicine and massage for treatment of infants with CMV infection ICH accompanied by GV can significantly decrease the incidence of pneumonia and its severity occurring in the disease course, therefore this therapeutic method is beneficial to the treatment and prognosis of infants with CMV infection ICH.
