Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(01):-
The dark-adapted efectroretinogram (ERG) was investigated in 67 diabetic patients (124 eyes) and in 50 normal subjects (75 eyes). The results showed that the rate of reduced amplitudes and lengthened peak times of a, b waves, as well as the rate of extingaished oscillatory potentials in diabetics ERG were elevated in sequence from no, mild, moderate to severe retinopathy (P
2.Investigation of the effect of VEGF antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides in ischemic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 1999;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the effect of suppression of ischemia induced retinal neovascularization by VEGF antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides. [WT5”HZ]Methods [WT5”BZ]Mouse models of hyperoxia induced ischemic retinopathy were established. Retrobulbar injections were performed with VEGF antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides or NS in 4 groups:normal control and various doses respectively. The nuclei of new vessel buds extending from the retina into the vitreous in different groups were counted and compared under the light microscope. Results There were plenty of new vessel buds in the eyes of mice in hyperoxic condition., while the number of the nuclei of new vessel buds is less in the murine eyes with retrobulbar injection of VEGF antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides, especially the nuclei were redused with 59.3% in eyes with large dose. Conclusion The proliferation of retinal new vessel may be suppressed by using the retrobulbar injection of VEGF antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides.

Objective To evaluate the effects of vitrectomy associated with extraction of intraocular foreign bodies in the posterior segment. Methods Retrospective analysis was done on clinical records of 11 patients (11 eyes) having undergone vitrectomy company with extraction of intraocular foreign bodies in the posterior segment. Results The intraocular foreign bodies in the posterior segment were extracted successfully in all cases, the retinal detachment and endophthalmitis were cured. Postoperation visual acuity was improved in 8 eyes and did not change in 3 eyes. None suffered from postoperative secondary intraocular hemorrahge, decompensation of corneal endothelium and other serious complications. Conclusion Vitrectomy combined with extraction of intraocular foreign bodies in the posterior segment is less damaging, accurate and safe, and enhances the cure rate. It is an effective method for treating intraocular foreign bodies.

37 diabetic patients and 49 normal subjects were examined with Goldmann-Weekers dark adaptometer. The results showed that the absolute thresholds of dark adaptation in each group of diabetic patients were higher than those in normal controls. The more severe retinopathy was, the higher was the absolute threshold. The patients with more damaged visual acuity showed worse dark adaptation. However the dark adaptation in patients with good visual acuity was also abnormal.lt is suggested that dark adaptation is more sensitive than visual acuity in determining the visual function of diabetic patients.

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and the influence factors of prognosis of ad -vanced ovarian cancer patients after abdominal metastases .Methods We retrospectively analyzed 65 cases dur-ing January 2013 to January 2016 in the First People′s Hospital of Tianmen .The patients were diagnosed clearly with pathological ,diagnosed for the first time and has the complete clinical data including peritoneal metastases in 58 cases, which were analyzed for single factor and multiple factors of influencing factors survival analysis .Results 58 cases of patients with diagnosis of peritoneal metastasis in ovarian cancer that the average is (49.2 ±6.5), from ovarian cancer diagnosis to abdominal metastases for an average time of 11 months, ovarian cancer patients with peritoneal metastasis of the median survival time was 8 weeks, but 7 cases without abdominal metastases that the median survival time was 15 weeks. The single factor survival curves(Kaplan-meier)showed that marital sta-tus,reproductive history, history of breastfeeding, malignant ascites, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, comprehensive treatment(chemotherapy and tumor cells to destroy the loss and laparotomy abdominal hot perfusion chemothera -py) ,peritoneal metastasis tumor number ,residual lesion size ,quality of life in patients with residual lesions ( KPS scores),D-dimer level in plasma and urine trace albumin levels related to the prognosis of patients (P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with advanced ovarian cancer patients with peritoneal metastasis survival time is shorter , and also company with poor prognosis;Neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined tumor cells to destroy the loss and postoperative intraperitoneal hot perfusion chemotherapy ,short-term curative effect is good ,it can not only im-prove the advanced ovarian cancer treatment effectiveness ,but also improve the quality of life in patients of late phase. The D -dimer level in plasma and urine trace albumin levels before treatment have remained in the pa-tients with high level or not reduce ,treatment effect and prognosis was poor .These can be used as a new index of judging prognosis .

OBJECTIVE:To understand the distribution and drug resistance of the pathogens by sputum culture in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) in our hospital so as to provide reference for rational use of antibiotics. METHODS:From Dec. 2010 to Dec. 2014,the sputum specimens were collected from the AECOPD patients, then the identification of 307 strains of pathogens and drug susceptibility test were carried out,and the data were analyzed statistically by using SPSS 17.0 software. RESULTS:A total of 307 strains of pathogens were collected,of which 17 cases of gram-positive ba-cillus accounted (5.54%),247 cases of gram negative cocci (80.46%),43 cases of fungi accounted (14.00%). The most com-mon isolates from sputum specimens were Pseudomonas aeruginosa (33.22%),Acinetobacter baumannii (19.54%),Stenotroph-omonas maltophilia(9.77%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(7.82%),Candida albicans(6.84%),etc. P. aeruginosa and A. baumannii were highly multidrug-resistant. There were 10 strains of ESBLs-producing K. pneumonia isolated, with the isolation rate of 41.67%. No Staphylococcus aureus strain was found resistant to vancomycin, teicoplanin or linezolid. Methicillin resistant strains in S. aureus(MRSA)accounted for 50.00%. CONCLUSIONS:Gram-negative bacilli are the most common pathogens in the AE-COPD patients. The common species of pathogens are highly resistant. More attention should be paid to the drug resistance monitor-ing of pathogens and rational use of antibiotics according to the results of susceptibility test.
