Objective:To explore the significance of blood dialysis device for real-time monitoring of dialysate temperature.Methods: Nikkiso DBB-27-type hemodialysis device was selected as a subject for discussion, analyzed and discussed the working principle, main structure and functional characteristics of the mixture ratio of dialysate and temperature monitor and combined with one case of temperature troubleshooting case.Results: Temperature monitoring was essential to ensure the stable running of dialysate mixture ratio and the temperature of the dialysate.Conclusion: The dialysate temperature has an important effect on renal fibrosis in end-stage hemodialysis patients, it is necessary to monitor the dialysate temperature and mixture ratio. Dialysis device heating degas proportioning system through surveillance system linked to the dialysis unit normal, stable operation, provide safe and reliable dialysis treatment for patients.

BACKGROUND: Rheumatoid arthritis(RA) is an autoallergic disease,but its immunological pathogenesis has not been completely known. T lymphocytes, especially CD4+ TH1/TH2 cells, may have an important effect in the occurrence and development of RA.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the action of CD4+ TH1 and TH2 cells which separately mediate cellular immunity and humoral immunologic response (respectively) function in the occurrence and development of RA.DESIGN: Case-control, comparative observation.SETTING: Department of Immunology, Medical College of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 15 patients with RA hospitalized in the Department of Internal Medicine of General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University between March 1999 and March 2000 were selected for a RA patient group, consisting of 2 males and 13 females. Of them, 12 patients whose serumal rheumatoid factor (RF)was positive and the three others' was negative. At the same time, 30 healthy individuals from persons receiving health examination in the hospital or from our department were selected for a healthy control group, consisting of 4 males and 26 females. Informed consents were obtained from the participants.peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) from the two groups of subjects were detected by enzyme-linked immunospot assay (ELISPOT). 200-500 lymphocytes were counted under a normal light microscope, and the perwhich secreted cytokines were detected by ELISPOT, and those which had red spots in their plasma after staining were positive cells. Among them,the cells secreting γ-interferon (IFN-γ) were Tm cells while those secreting interleukin-4 (IL-4) were TH2 cells. 200-500 lymphocytes were counted under a normal light microscope and the percentages of TH1 and TH2 cells square test were used for comparing statistical differences of data between the two groups.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Quantitative analysis of T lymphocyte subsets (including CD3+ T cells, CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells) and CD4+ TH1/TH2 cells in peripheral blood from the two groups of subjects.RESULTS: Analysis of the results was from the study on all of subjects percentages of total T cells (CD3+ T cells), CD4+T cells and CD8+F cells in peripheral blood were not significantly different between the two significantly higher in RA patient group than that in healthy control group [(24.44±5.25)%, (14.93±3.82)%, P ＜ 0.05],while in RA patient group the percentage of TH2 cells and ratio of TH1 cells to TH2 cells from peripheral blood were not significantly different as compared with those of control group(P ＞ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Cellular immunologic function mediated by TH1 cells may be associated with the occurrence and development of RA.

Objective:To prepare bifunction antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma/anti-CD 3 for the active immune therapy of laryngocarcinoma.Methods:To corss link monoclonal antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma and anti-CD 3 into bifunction antibody by chemical method,which can guide the killer function on carcinoma cells.Results:The killer rate of effector cells guided by bifunction antibody is higher than that of anti-CD 3 which can arise with the elevation of effect target ratio.Conclusion:Bifunction antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma/anti-CD 3 prepared by chemical cross linking method has the potential value for clinical application. Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics of Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome (VHL)typeⅠ.Methods 12 patients diag-nosed as VHL type Ⅰ were collected and all the patients had underwent 3.0T MRI and 64-slice spiral CT plain and enhanced scan. Imaging data was analyzed by two senior radiologists to summarize its imaging featueres.Results Multiple hemangioblastomas (HGBLs)in cerebellum,spinal cord or brainstem were seen in all the patients.Flow void effect with varied degree was seen in the lesions.Dilated feeding and drainage blood vessels around lesions was seen in 6 cases.Multiple kidney and pancreas cysts were seen in all the patients.There were 4 cases with syringomyelia,7 cases with ocular retinal angioma,5 cases with renal cell carcinoma,2 cases with ground-glass-like lesions and micronodulars in lung.Conclusion VHL type Ⅰ has complex imaging performance.Ima-ging examination is important for early detection of VHL disease.

Objective To investigate the effects of meliorated renal failure decoction (MRFD) on renal function and inflammatory cytokines in patients with CKD 3-4 stages. Methods Sixty-two patients with CKD 3-4 stages were divided into treatment group and control group through random number table method. Both groups were given conventional treatment of western medicine, and the treatment group was given MRFD additionally. After 6 months of treatment, the changes of TCM symptom scores, Hb, Scr, BUN, 24 h UP, IL-6, IL-8, TNF and eGFR were observed. Meanwhile, the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results The total clinical effective rate in treatment group was 65.63%(21/32), and 30.00%(9/30) in the control group (P<0.01);the effective rate of TCM syndromes in treatment group was 96.88%(31/32), and 53.33%(16/30) in the control group (P<0.01). The symptoms were improved better in the treatment group than the control group except for the symptoms of dry mouth and throat, and diarrhea. The level of eGFR in treatment group increased obviously (P<0.05), while the levels of Scr, 24 h UP and BUN decreased (P<0.05, P<0.01), with statistical significance between the two groups ( P<0.01). The level of eGFR increased, and the levels of Scr decreased in the control group (P<0.01). The levels of IL-6, IL-8, and TNF in both groups were reduced, while the level of Hb increased in the two groups, without statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion MRFD can improve TCM syndrome and renal function, delay the progress of patients with CKD at 3-4 stage by means of reducing the inflammatory cytokines and inhibiting micro-inflammatory state.

Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of occupational exposure to human immunodeficiency vi-rus (HIV) in Chongqing to provide the scientific basis for avoiding and reducing the HIV occupational exposures in the future . Methods All archival data of the exposed individuals came to our hospital for seeking post-exposure consultation and treatment during 2009-2012 were performed the classification and arrangement for conducting the descriptive analysis on the distribution characteristics of the age ,gender ,occupation ,working region ,exposure mode and severity of exposure .Results During this period , there were 135 cases of occupational exposure ,which ocurred in the medical institutions outside the main urban area (74 .18% ) , dominated by the nurses (57 .04% ) and doctors(33 .33% ) .21-30 years old (51 .85% ) and 31 -40 years old(33 .33% ) were the age groups with more occurrence of occupational exposure .The exposure routes were dominated by the sharp instrument injury (92 .59% ) and the exposure degree was mainly the secondary exposure ( 69 .63% ) .Conclusion The prevalence situation of HIV occupational exposure in Chongqing is stable in the total trend .The medical and health institutions outside main urban area should perfect the management system ,strengthen training ,put the standard prophylaxis principles to practice for reducing the occurrence of occupational exposure .

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of thunder-fire moxibustion at Dazhui (GV14) and Shenshu (BL23) in treating mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to ischemic cerebral stroke. Method Sixty patients with MCI due to ischemic cerebral stroke were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases each. The control group was intervened by joint treatment plus cognitive training, while the treatment group was by thunder-fire moxibustion in addition to that given to the control group. The two groups were evaluated by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS), the major symptoms were observed, and the clinical efficacies were compared between the two groups. The two groups were both treated for 8 weeks. Result The total effective rate was 80.0%in the treatment group, versus 70.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The selected acupoints can improve the cognition and activities of daily living (ADL) in MCI patients;thunder-fire moxibustion at Dazhui and Shenshu plus cognitive training can produce a better clinical efficacy than dry cognitive training. Therefore, we can combine thunder-fire moxibustion with modern rehabilitation to enhance the therapeutic efficacy in preventing and treating MCI.

Objective To develop a suitable instrument for measuring health beliefs related to reproductive tract infections (RTIs) and testing its reliability and validity. Methods Within the framework of the Health Belief Model, 500 questionnaires of health beliefs related to RTIs were collected, its reliability and validity was analyzed. Results The instrument contained two subscales, all content validity index(CVI)were 1.0. RTIs-related health belief subscale extracted four factors, the cumulative variance was 75.91%;RTIs-related self-efficacy subscale extracted four factors,the cumulative variance was 68.19%. Scale statistics consisted with the structure and design structure. The dimensions Cronbach's α coefficient, test-retest reliability, split half reliability were greater than 0.70. Conclusions This scale has good reliability and validity and can be used for measuring health beliefs related to reproductive tract infections in women of childbearing age.
