SpA,one of the important virulence factors of Staphylococcus aureus,can impede phagocytosis,induce apoptosis of B cells,initiate staphylococcal pneumonia and endocarditis,et al.The expression of Spa gene is regulated by a very subtle and complicated systematic web.With the mechanism of the virulence and the gene regulation of Spa were known more and more clearly,New methods of the infection by Staphylococcus aureus were would be found.

Adrenomedullin (ADM) has wide distribution in the body and has many biological effects,which participates in many physiological and pathological processes.What's more,it is closely related to the degree of malignancy,prognosis and metastasis of tumors.ADM has different effects on different types of cells via one or more signal pathways,so that can product various effects.It also provides a new treatment strategy for preventing or slowing the progress of the cancer.

Aquatic plant duckweed can enrich high concentration of arsenic, it is thus used as the representative of phytofiltration.The mechanism of arsenic tolerance in duckweeds has received much concern.In this study, synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence (SRXRF) and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) techniques were used to study the micro-distribution and speciation of arsenic in natural As-rich duckweed from lead-zinc mine.Two monolithic duckweeds, FP1 and FP2, were analyzed by micro SRXRF, setting single point scan time and spot size were 5 s, 70 μm×80 μm and 2 s, 100 μm×100 μm respectively.Six points of FP2 were selected and analyzed by micro XANES in energy range of 11.81-11.96 keV.Pressed-pellet duckweed was analyzed by bulk XANES in energy range of 11.67-12.27 keV.The result showed that As(Ⅲ) was the major speciation of duckweed from bulk XANES and micro-XANES data.SRXRF micro analysis showed that arsenic had significant vein distribution in duckweed, and was not spread into the photosynthetic mesophyll within certain concentration, which may reduce the leaf toxicity triggered by arsenic.This vein distribution may play a role in arsenic tolerance in duckweed.

Objective To evaluate the ultrasound(US) features of diffuse sclerosing variant (DSV) of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid. Methods The US and histopathlogical of 20 DSV patients were retrospectively assessed. Results Among the 20 cases,thyroid single lobe of 12 cases,bilateral lobes of 8 cases and cervical lymph nodes metastases of 18 cases (90%) were involved in DSV of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid. At ultrasound, echo diffuse abnormal change of single lobe or bilateral lobes of thyroid and diffuse scattered microcalcifications were seen in the DSV of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid. The blood flow signals of the abnormal lobes were occupied by 75% of one grade and 25 % of two grades. Conclusions DSV of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid is usually manifested as echo diffuse abnormal change,diffuse scattered microcalcifications and cervical lymphocytic infiltration on ultrasound in relatively young patients.

Objective To study the clinicopathologic characteristics and the prognostic factors of gastric stump cancer (GSC). Methods A total of forty-seven patients with GSC from Jan 2000 to Dec 2006 were enrolled in this study for retrospective analysis. Initial surgery was performed for gastric benign disease in 39 patients and for malignant disease in 8 patients, which were divided into 2 groups for analysis. The prognosis of all 47 patients were analyzed. Results The mean interval between previous gastrectomy and diagnosis of GSC was 24.4 years. Tumor developed mostly in the patients with Billroth- Ⅱ reconstruction, and male more than female. Tumor located at anastomotic site mostly, at stump stomach and cardia secondly. The mean interval for patients who had undergone their first gastrectomy for malignant disease was shorter than that with benign disease(P＜0.05). Histology, therapy and prognosis showed no significant differences between two groups (P＞0.05). Disease TNM stage and total radical gastrectomy were shown to be significant predictor for the outcome of patients with GSC (P ＜0.01). Conclusion Now the GSC patients with initial surgery performed for malignant disease are increased, which are no siginificant different to patients with benign disease. Early diagnosis and an aggressive surgical approach are crucial to achieve better outcomes for patients with GSC.

Objective To study the expression and relationship between adrenomedullin (ADM )and integrinαvβ3 in different pathological grades ,clinical stages and histologic subtypes of human osteosarcoma .Methods The expression positiverate ,intensity , the average optical density (ALD) of ADM and integrinαvβ3 in 30 osteosarcomacases was detected with immunohistochemical SABC technique and image analysis system .Each pathological section observed by two pathologists respectively in the case of unknown clinical and pathological information .At least five representative high field of vision counting 100 cells observed at random ,in this way the degree of tumor grade ,stage and cell staining were determined by two pathologist who unknown clinical and pathological data .Results The positive rate and intensity of ADM and integrinαvβ3 were significantly increased with the increase of osteosarco-ma stage(P<0 .05) and the difference was significant in each stage(P<0 .05) .The expression of ADM was positive correlated with the expression of integrinαvβ3 .Conclusion The expression of ADM and integrinαvβ3 in different clinicopathological grades osteosar-coma are positive associated with malignant degree of tumor ,which suggest that both of them play an important role in malignant biological behaviors of human osteosarcoma .

OBJECTIVE:To study the pharmacokinetics of boanmycin and to make a clinical evaluation on which.METHODS:36patients with malignant tumor were subjected to the first stage of clinical study after injected intramuscular injection.with0.5～7.5mg/m 2 boanmycin.Of which,8patients were chosen as the subjects for the pharmacokinetic study by microbioassay.RESULTS:Boanmycin had little influence on the functions of heart,liver,kidney and lungs and which had no inhibitory action on bone marrow.After intramuscular injection with5.29～7.65mg/m 2 boanmycin,parameters of pharma?cokinetics in the patients were determined as the following:t 1/2? was(14.036?4.409)min,t 1/2? was(39.160?5.599)min,AUC was(14.697?1.826)(?g?min)/ml and CLs was(0.781?0.102)L/min.CONCLUSION:Serum clearance of boanmycin shows two-compartment model.

Objective: To evaluate the inhibitory effect of Yichuanping capsule (易喘平胶囊) on the airway mucus overproduction in asthmatic mice and its mechanism. Methods: Thirty-two male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into normal control group, asthma group, dexamethasone group and Yichuanping capsule (YC) group (n=8 in each group). Asthmatic mouse model was established by intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin. The number of goblet cells and secretion of mucus were detected with periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining, and mucus protein MUC5AC mRNA was detected with reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RTCD*2PCR). Number of total cells and eosinophil in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were counted with special staining. Objective To collect and summarize long-term complications of glucocorticoid (GC) in treatment of Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA).Methods A total of 17 DBA patients,treated with GC more than 1 year from December 2009 to November 2012 in Being Children's Hospital,Capital Medical University,were retrospectively investigated.The data of general information,drug treatment,treatment response,height and body mass in different therapy periods,and therapy related adverse reaction were collected.The data entry and the statistical analysis were performed using SPSS 16.0 software.Results Seventeen cases which fulfilled the research criteria were enrolled.The 58.8 percent of cases (10/17) began GC therapy from the age younger than 6 months.The 76.4 percent of the cases (14/17) started prednisone therapy with the dosage ≥2 mg/(kg · d),and the median time of maintenance therapy with this dosage was 2 months (1-5 months).The median time of prednisone dosage greater than 0.5 mg/(kg · d) was 6 months (3-48 months).Patients were divided into 2 groups at the beginning of therapy according to whether their age was younger or older than 6 months.The median height of younger age group was-1.0 SD (-3.5-1.0 SD) of corresponded age-sex-standard height at the beginning of prednisone therapy,and was dropped to-3.5 SD (-3.5--2.0SD)afterhalfyeartreatment.For older age group,it was0.0 SD(-1.5-2.0 SD)and-0.5 SD (-1.5-0.5 SD) respectively.During the therapy,there were 1 fracture,2 measles pneumonia,3 pneumonia,3 hirsuitisms,5 thrushes,and 12 central obesity cases.Conclusions GC related adverse reaction might appear when applying prednisone for the treatment of DBA in long term.It was suggested that GC therapy should start after 6 months old if possible,and the duration of 0.5 mg/(kg · d) GC treatment should be reduced as short as possible.
