OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational application of cephalosporins in the clinic. METHODS:The applica-tion of cephalosporins antibiotics in our hospital during 2010-2014 was analyzed dynamically in respects of consumption sum, DDD,DDC,DDDs,etc. RESULTS:During 2010-2014,the proportion of total consumption sum of antibiotics in total consump-tion sum kept below 30%,and decreased year by year, decreasing from 27.35% in 2010 to 14.70% in 2014. Among antibiotics, the consumption sum and DDDs of cephalosporins were the highest;consumption sum decreased year by year, decreasing from 44.50% in 2010 to 30.49% in 2014;DDDs increased year by year, increasing from 11.00×104 in 2012 to 14.22×104 in 2014. The consumption sum and DDDs of second generation cephalosporins were the highest. The consumption sum of cefotiam ranked the first place;DDDs of cefprozi ranked the first place during 2010-2011,while cefotiam ranked the first place during 2012-2014. DDC of cefpirome was the highest during 2010-2011,and that of cefamandole was the highest during 2012-2014,indicating it was expensive. The serial number ratio of cefprozi and cefuroxim was always >1 during those years, which indicated it was cheap and used frequently;that of most drugs were close to 1. CONCLUSIONS:The application of cephalosporins in our hospital tend to be rational, but the propaganda and supervision of rational use of antibiotics should be further strengthened.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between problem behaviorand father-child relationship in 4-6-year-oldchildren. Methods:Totally 102 children were recruited in a kindergarten in Beijing, with 36 aged four,36 aged five,30 aged six and 55 being boys and 47 being girls. Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL)was used to measure preschoolers'problem behaviors, and Family Relations Index (FRI)was adopted to assess children's rela-tionship with their fathers. Results:There were 41,49,and 12 children being classified as negative, neutral and posi-tive father-child relation respectively. Kruskal-Wallis Test revealed that there was no significant difference in scores of 3 CBCL subtests and 8 factors (P>0. 05 )among 4-,5-,and 6-year-old children. Children with negative father-child relationship scored higher on CBCL problem behavior subtests than those with neutral father-child relationship[30. 5 (7. 0,58. 0)vs. 16. 0 (0. 0,69. 0),P<0. 05 ]. They alsoscored higher on withdrawn behavior than children with neutralor positive father-child relationship [3. 0 (0. 0,4. 0)vs. 1. 0 (0. 0,6. 0),1. 0 (0. 0,4. 0),P<0. 05] . Mann-Whitney U Test manifested that boys scored higher in attention problem than girls (P<0. 0 1 ),but no gen-der difference was found in the other problem behaviors. Kruskal-Wallis Test showed that boys with negative father-child relationship scored higher than those with neutral father-child relationship on problem behavior subtest,anxie-ty-depression,attention problem, and internalized problem (Ps<0. 05 ). Boys with negative father-child relationship scored higher than those with neutraland positivefather-child relationship on withdrawn behavior (Ps <0. 05 ). No difference was found whether in CBCL subtests or problem behavior factors for girls with different types of father-child relationship. Conclusion:It suggests that the children with negative father-child relationship display more problem behavior and withdrawn symptoms;boys have more attention problems than girls;compared with girls, boys'problem behavior may be more closely related to therelationship with their father.

Objective: To explore the protective mechanism of resvertrol (RSV) suppressing the rapid electrical stimulation incurred oxidative stress injury in neonatal rats cardiomyocytes. Methods: The neonatal rats cardiac ifbroblasts and myocytes were isolated by double enzyme digestion and differential adhesion method, and the cardiomyocytes were randomly divided into 5 groups:①Control (CTR) group,②Rapid electrical stimulation (RES) group,③RES+APO group, cells were pretreated with NADPH oxidase inhibitor APO,④RES+RSV group,⑤RES+AIP group, cells were pretreated with CaMKII inhibitor AIP. In order to conifrm whether RSV protection was via MsrA-OX-CaMKⅡpathway, the cells were further divided into another 3 groups:①DMSO control group,②RSV+DMSO group,③RES+ RSV+DMSO group. The best dose of RSV was measured with Kit-8 by cardiomyocytes surviving condition, the optimal electrical stimulation time was detected with ELISA by Ang II level in conditioned medium. The level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cardiomyocytes was detected by flow cytometry, the protein expressions of MsrA, Nox4, Nox2, P22phox, OX-CaMK II and apoptosis related cleaved caspase-3 were observed by Western blot analysis.Results:①Compared with CTR group, RES group showed increased AngII secretion with increased protein expressions of Nox4, Nox2, P22phox, OX-CaMK II and cleaved caspase-3.②Compared with RES group, the RES+APO, RES+RSV, RES+AIP groups had decreased ROS level, the ROS was even lower in RES+RSV group.③Compared with RES group, the RES+APO, RES+RSV groups presented decreased protein expressions of Nox4, Nox2, P22phox, OX-CaMK II and cleaved caspase-3, while RES+AIP group only had decreased Nox2, OX-CaMK II and cleaved caspase-3.④Compared with DMSO control group, RES+ RSV+DMSO group had the lower level of cleaved caspase-3 expression. Conclusion: RSV has protective effect on rapid electrical stimulation incurred oxidative stress injury in neonatal rats cardiomyocytes, which might be via NADPH oxidase with the increased MsrA expression .

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To study the imaging features of Scheuermann disease and compare the value of MRI, X-Ray and CT images in diagnosis of this disease. Methods The images of 14 Scheuermann disease patients were analyzed retrospectively. Results The pathological changed vertebraes have wedge-shaped changes in different degree. The edges of the vertebraes manifest roughness and have become step-shaped, or Schmorl′s nodes were demonstrated. Conclusion The multi-vertebraes wedge-shaped changes and the Schmorl′s nodes are the main imaging features of Scheuermann disease. The pathological change occurs in the different spine segments, and the imaging features are not completely same. X-Ray and MRI images are more important in diagnosis of this disease. MRI Multi-direction imaging displays clearly the Schmorl′s nodes, marrow dropsy, the fat accumulation and the intervertebral disc denaturation. What′s more important is that MRI has its own superiority in the differential diagnosis of this disease.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the Gram-negative bacterial resistance of clinical isolates in September, 2004 from 13 hospitals which are members of Anhui Center for Surveillance of Bacterial Resistance. METHODS Antimicrobial susceptibility of clinical non-repeated isolates was tested by agar dilution method and the results were analyzed. RESULTS Of 347 clinical isolates from 13 hospitals, 251 were Gram-negative organisms including 33 species. Gram-negative organisms were different resistant to piperacillin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, cefuroxime, ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin, respectively, but the resistance rates to lactams and their inhibitors compounds, such as cefoperazone/sulbactam and piperacillin/tazobactam, and imipenem/cilastatin were all under 10%. CONCLUSIONS Bacterial resistance is still or even a more serious clinical problem than before. There is a valuable surveillance of bacterial resistance.

BACKGROUND: Proteins containing fibronectin domains play an important role in cell migration, adhesion, growth and differentiation and have been widely applied to a variety of new biological materials. Subcellular localization prediction of proteins containing fibronectin domains can promote protein function research and development of new biomaterials.OBJECTIVE: To realize subcellular localization prediction of proteins containing fibronectin domains. METHODS: A total of 80 human proteins were randomly selected from Uniprot database. The amino acid pairs for each protein were collocated to form 400 dimensional input feature vectors. The feature vectors were then trained and tested using support vector machine and k-nearest neighbor separately. The prediction quality was examined by the jackknife test. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The prediction accuracy was 92.5% and 95% for support vector machine and k-nearest neighbor methods respectively. This suggests that support vector machine and k-nearest neighbor methods are of important significance for predicting subcellular localization of proteins containing fibronectin domains and contribute to functional research of such proteins and surface modification of new biomaterials.

Objective: To explore the effect of atorvastatin (Atv) on high glucose-induced oxidative stress injury in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) by SIRT1/NADPH oxidase pathway with the possible mechanisms.
Methods: HUVECs were cultured in low glucose medium and then divided into 6 experimental groups:①Normal group,②Osmotic pressure control group,③High glucose (HG) group,④HG+Atv (0.1, 1.0, 10.0)μmol/L group,⑤HG+sirtinol (SIRT1 inhibitor) group,⑥HG+apocynin (NOX4 inhibitor) group, and HUVECs were further cultured for 24 hours. The cell proliferation was examined by CCK-8 kit, ROS level was detected by lfow cytometry method, protein expressions of SIRT1 and NOX4 were measured by Western blot analysis.
Results: ① Compared with Normal group, HG group had decreased HUVECs proliferation, Atv improved the HG inhibited proliferation in a does dependent manner. ② HG group had the higher level of ROS, increased NOX4 protein expression and decreased SIRT1 protein expression. ③ In HG condition, Atv up-regulated SIRT1 expression and down-regulated ROS and NOX4 expressions in a does dependent manner.④In HG condition, sirtinol decreased SIRT1 expression, increased NOX4 expression, and apocynin decreased NOX4 expression, while it had no inlfuence on SIRT1 expression.
Conclusion: Atorvastatin could resist HG-induced oxidative stress injury in HUVECs, which might be related to up-regulated SIRT1 expression, and SIRTI plays the role in NADPH oxidase at upstream.
