Objective To explore the interference effect of drinking green tea on patients with primary kidney disease syndrome. Methods 200 cases of patients with normal kidney function and also accepted initial treatment of primary kidney disease syndrome were divided into the research group(102cases) and the control group (98 cases) at random. The research group adopted normal nursing, hormone medicine treatment and also drank green tea as nursing measure, but the control group used normal medical treatment and hormone only. The change of blood sugar, blood fat and hemodynamics and relapse rate of kidney disease syndrome were observed in two groups one year later. Results A variety of indexes of the blood sugar, blood fat and hemodynamics in patients of the research group were better than the patients of the control group one year later. The relapse rate of the research group was 11.76%, the control group was 28.57%, the difference was statistically different. Conclusions Drinking green tea can improve the food treatment effect of patients suffered from primary kidney disease syndrome so as to reduce the recrudescent rate effectively and improve life quality of patients suffered from primary kidney disease syndrome.

Objective To explore a new method for repairing multiple knee ligament injuries with allogenic achilles tendon. Methods Injuried anterior and posterior cruciate ligament(APCL) in 25 patients with multiple knee ligament injuries was reconstructed under arthroscopy with the bone- patellar tendon -bone which was treated with deep hypothermia and ? radiation. At the same time, injuried medial collateral ligament (MCL) or lateral tissue was repaired. Results After the disappearance of edema and inflammation in the injuried knee joints, the allogenic bone-patellar tendon-bone transplant was performed under arthroscopy. Menisci were sutured in 2 cases, and were resected or partially resected in 15 cases. All patients were followed up for more than 12 months. According to the Lysholm score method of knee function, the average score of preoperation and postoperation was 36 and 85, respectively. The satisfactory rate was 83%. The objective examination showed anterior drawer test(ADT) positive in 21 cases preoperatively, and 2 postoperatively. Lachman test was positive in 22 cases preoperatively, and 2 postoperatively. 3 patients had tolerable pain in knee, and 5 had the limitation of knee activity (5~20?). Conclusion The injury and complication caused by the autograft can be avoided by using allogenic bone- patellar tendon -bone to repair multiple knee ligament injuries. After systemic rehabilitation, the function of the knee joints can be restored reliably.

Objective: To observe the impact of electroacupuncture on the pain threshold and the content of excitatory amino acids in the spinal cord of the rats with neuropathic pain to discuss the mechanism of electroacupuncture in treating neuropathic pain. Methods: The rats were randomly divided into a control group (n=10), a sham surgery group (n=10) and a surgery group (n=30) to take spared nerve injury (SNI) surgery of sciatic nerve. The successful SNI model rats in the surgery group were randomly divided into a model group (n=10), an electroacupuncture group (n=10) and a sham electroacupuncture group (n=10). The mechanical pain threshold (MPT) and heat pain threshold (HPT) were measured on the preoperative day, postoperative day 7, postoperative day 9 and the day after the sixth acupuncture treatment. The electroacupuncture was carried out at Huantiao (GB 30) and Weizhong (BL 40) starting from the postoperative day 10 to reflect the impact on the mechanical pain threshold and heat pain threshold. The pre-column deriverization and HPLC fluorescence detection as well as microdialysis method were adopted to test the content of EAAs in spinal cord of rats. Results: The SNI surgery decreased the mechanical pain threshold of rats significantly. The glutamate (Glu) and aspartic acid (Asp) in the microdialysis solution of rats in the model group were higher than in the control group and sham surgery group at the same time point (P<0.05). The contents of Glu and Asp in the microdialysis solution of rats in the electroacupuncture group and sham electroacupuncture group decreased significantly (P<0.05), comparing with model group at the same time point (except the Glu of the sham electroacupuncture group at the second time point). The electroacupuncture reduced the mechanical allodynia markedly. Conclusion: The mechanism of electroacupuncture treating neuropathic pain may relate with the decrease of excitatory amino acids in spinal cord.

Objective To investigate the different concentrations of progesterone on the expression of a disintegrin and metalloprotease 10 (ADAM10),long form leptin receptor (Ob-R) and the secretion of soluble leptin receptor (SLR),leptin (LEP) in primary pregnancy human chorionic trophoblast cells. Methods Cultured primary human trophoblast cells and added in different concentrations of progesterone (0,100,150 and 200 ng/mL) for 24 hours. The relative expression of ADAM10 and Ob-R in the cells and the content of SLR and LEP in the supernatant were detected. Results With increasing concentrations of progesterone, early human trophoblast cells ADAM10 content gradual-ly decreased, the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0. 05). With increasing concentrations of progesterone, human chori-onic trophoblast cells in early pregnancy Ob-R expression levels increased, the difference was no statistically significant between each two groups (P>0. 05). SLR content of the cell supernatants as the concentration of progesterone increased and decreased, there are significant differences between each two groups (P>0. 05). LEP cell supernatant in each group with the increase of the concentration of progesterone concentration increased gradually between the two groups were significantly different(P>0. 05). Pearson’s test showed that the expression of expression SLR and LEP exists a significant negative correlation (R= -0. 949,P<0. 01). Conclusion Progesterone may influence the ex-pression of ADAM10,SLR and LEP by the regulation of leptin to participate GDM occurs.

Objective In the previous study completed in Korea, early three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy concurrent with chemotherapy in rectal cancer after radical surgery demonstrated a better prognosis compared with late radiotherapy. However, with the report of MOSAIC trial, the adjuvant chemotherapy regimen had transferred from 5-Fu alone to combined 5-Fu and Oxaliplatin. We need more evidence to clarify the best radiotherapy timing during the whole period of adjuvant therapy . Methods Patients who met the following criteria were accrued in this study: 18-70 years old, lower anterior resection, pathologically proven rectal adenocarcinoma, stage T3-4 and/or N+, no evidence of distant metastases and KPS≥70. Three dimensional conformal Radiotherapy was started at the fourth week after surgery, which included 45 Gy whole pelvic radiation following by 6-10 Gy tumor bed boost. Oxaliplatin of 50 mg/m2 weekly and Xeloda 625 mg/m2 twice a day, every week from d1-5 were used concurrent with radiotherapy.Toxicity was evaluated and graded by common toxicity critera version 3. 0. The study was designed as Simon two-phase design, in the first phase, a total of 15 patients were accrued, and if more than or equal to 9 patients had grade 3 toxicity, we had 85% power to confirm the toxicity caused by early radiotherapy more than 50%. Otherwise, another 15 patients of the second phase were accrued, we would have 85% power to confirm the high toxicity of more than 50% if 18 out of 30 patients had grade 3 toxicity. Results From July 2008 to December 2008, 15 patients were treated with early radiotherapy concurrent with combined chemotherapy, Grade 3 gastrointestinal toxicity occurred in 12 patients and Grade 3 hematologic toxicity occurred in 2 patients. According to Simon design, we had 85% power to confirm the toxicity caused by early radiotherapy more than 50%. Conclusions For locally advanced rectal cancer patients, whole pelvic radiotherapy concurrent with oxaliplatin and xeloda had severe toxicities. Further studies are needed to decrease toxieities.

Objectives To assess if visual analogue scale(VAS) or Likert scale was relatively more suitable when measuring self-reported clinical outcomes for apoplexy spastic-paralysis patients. Methods Nineteen questions were made from the serf-evaluating instrument based on patient reported outcomes for apoplexy spasticparalysis patients developed previously in cross-sectional study.104 patients answered the questions by both continuous and discrete visual analogue scale(VAS),while other 110 patients by both five-point Likert scales and Likert-typo scales.Cronbach'sαfor internal consistency reliability, spearman for correlation, and exploratory factor analysis for construct validity were applied. Results Except for emotional domain, the α coefficients of physical domain, social domain and overall score with continuous and discrete VAS are higher than that with five-point Likert scales and Likert-type scales.Internal consistency reliability was stronger for VAS.lntraclass correlation coefficients were above 0.4 mostly for each item with its domain, and VAS may produce the higher correlation. For VAS,there were three factors in the exploratory factor analysis, which confirmed the domain hypotheses of physical, mental and social functions, but for the Likert scales, the result was undesiable. Conclusion The more accurate for the response options, the better for the performance. When the patient can complete the measurement without the help of others,VAS seems better suited.
