OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the improvement effects of sitagliptin on islet B-cell function in type 2 diabetic patients systematically,and to provide evidenced-based reference. METHODS:Retrieved from PubMed,Cochrane library,EMBase, CJFD,Wanfang database,VIP and CBM,RCTs about sitagliptin alone or combined with routine plan(trial group)vs. placbo alone or combined with routine plan(control group)in the treatment of type 2 diabetes were collected. Two reviewers independent-ly screened studies according to exclusion and inclusion criteria,extracted data,and assessed the methodological quality according to Cochrane Manual 5.1.0. Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS:A total of 5 RCTs were includ-ed,involving 1253 patients. The result of Meta-analysis showed that changes of islet B cell function index(Homa-B)[sitagliptin alone group:MD=9.21,95%CI(4.16,14.25),P<0.001;drug combination group:MD=7.24,95%CI(0.80,13.68),P=0.03] and changes of insulin resistance index(Homa-IR)[sitagliptin alone group:MD=-0.40,95%CI(-0.44,-0.36),P<0.001;drug combination group:MD=-0.35,95%CI(-0.63,-0.07),P=0.02] of trial group were significantly better than those of control group,with statistical significance. CONCLUSIONS:Sitagliptin shows certain therapeutic efficacy in improving islet B cell func-tion and insulin resistance.

Bronchiolitis obliterans(BO) is chronic airflow obstruction syndrome characterized by small airway obstruction and airflow limitation.In children, BO is secondary to severe infection of respiratory tract, and its development is related with inflammation and immune response.At present, the diagnosis of BO mainly is depended on the clinical manifestation, lung function and examination results of high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) because of difficulty of lung biopsy.Pulmonary HRCT is a non-invasive examination, and worthy of generalization.Currently, BO has no accepted effective treatment,early diagnosis and treatment can block the progression of BO.Due to lack of realization of BO, doctors and parents fail to give enough attention, BO has a prolonged course and very poor prognosis.

To observe the effect of "Yixintang" on the protection of the myocardium against ischemia reperfusion injury. Thirty Wistar rats, with their hearts isolated, were randomly divided into three groups: Yixintang group 1 (YXT1, with 0 01g "Yixintang" in each ml K H fluid), Yixintang group 2 (YXT2, with 0 1g "Yixintang" in each ml K H fluid) and control group. Left ventricular systolic output pressure (LVSP), rate of rise of left ventricular pressure (?dp/dt max ), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP), heart rate, the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in myocardial tissue were measured. The results showed that cardiac functions seemed to recover well after ischemia reperfusion injury in the group 2. The values of myocardial dynamics and hemodynamics indexes, including LVSP and ?dp/dt max , in the group 2 were obviously higher than those in the control group after ischemia reperfusion. The content of MDA in myocardial tissue was obviously lower in the group 2 than in the control group after ischemia and reperfusion. OBJECTIVE To realize the situation of the infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) and the drug resistance among the female patients with urogenital tract infection.METHODS Totally 813 specimens in the female patients with urogenital tract infection were collected,cultured and tested for drug sensitivity with mycoplasma test drug sensitivity kit.RESULTS From the specimens of 813 cases the infection of Uu was in 296 cases(36.4%),the infection of Mh in 13 cases(1.6%),and the mixed was in 71(8.7%) cases,totally 380 cases(46.7%) were infected.The results of drug sensitivity showed that the sensitivities of Uu and Mh to josamycin,doxycycline and minocyclin were remarkable and the drug resistance of Uu and Mh to ofloxacin was the most prominent.CONCLUSIONS The infection of Uu and Mh is high among the femalepatients with urogenital tract infection.Especially the infection of Uu is usual.Uu and Mh have high drug resistance to many antibiotics,especially to ofloxacin.There is some difference between the drug resistances of Uu,Mh and Uu+Mh.To treat the infection of Mycoplasma some antibiotics are good choices,such as josamycin,doxycycline and minocyclin.

The values of myocardial dynamics and hemodynamics indexes LVSP and ?dp/dtmax, in Yixintang group 3 and Verapamil group the indicator were obviously higher than those in the control group, after ischemial and reperfusion. The content of MDA in myocardial tissue in Yixintang group 3 and Verapamil group after ischemia and reperfusion was obviously lower than in other groups. Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value, patients' tolerance and complications of double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) in the diagnosis of small intestinal diseases. Methods During May 2003 to July 2005, a total of 68 patients (36 men, 32 women; mean age of 52. 6 years, range 15-78 years) with suspected small intestinal diseases were performed double-balloon enteroscopy (36 via mouth, 25 via anus and 7 via both mouth and anus according to suspected lesion location). Among them, obscure recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding was found in 39 cases, incomplete small intestinal obstruction in 7 cases, chronic abdominal pain in 14 cases, and chronic diarrhea in 8 cases. Results Approximately one half to three-fourth of the entire small intestine was observed by each approach in all cases except for 3 cases of severe intestinal stricture. The observation of the whole small intestine was finished by the combination of both oral and anal approaches in 7 cases. The appropriate use of X-ray made the enteroscopy easier and more helpful to determine the extent and location of the lesions. The lesions were found in 41 of the 68 patients, with a total positive rate of 60. 3%. The diagnostics yields was 26/39(62. 6%) in obscure recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding, 5 in incomplete intestinal obstruction, 6/14(43%) in chronic abdominal pain and 4 in chronic diarrhea, respectively. Fifty-seven cases (83. 8%) tolerated well without anesthesia while 11 cases received propofol anesthesia. No procedure-related severe adverse events or severe complications such as hemorrhage or perforation occurred in all cases. Conclusion Double-balloon enteroscopy is a well-tolerated and safe diagnostic approach with a high diagnostic yield in small intestinal diseases.

OBJECTIVE To find out the reasons for the failure of sterilization of low temperature plasma antiseptic,and make corresponding measures to improve and standardize the plasma sterilization methods.METHODS A total of 280 times with the plasma sterilization by Johnson & Johnson STERRAD100S from the November 2007 to 2008 were conducted.RESULTS Among the antiseptic 280 pots,255 pots were completed smoothly.Another 25 pots were finished after removing the barriers.CONCLUSIONS The STERRAD100S low temperature plasma antiseptic is used standardizedly,taking effective measure,to speed up cycling rate of surgery instruments,reducing precious instrument's purchase and enhancing the antiseptic effect.It can positively use in operating room for antiseptic disinfection.
