Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;24(3):114-116
In recent years, the incidence of the allergic skin diseases is increasing as the growing of the pressure, the changes of the environment and other factors. The clinical features of the allergic skin diseases are easily repeated and in long course. It is found that the incidence of clinical allergic skin diseases, in addition to the season, diet and emotional relevant, is also closely linked to the physical deterioration of patients. Therefore, in addition to the emphasis on the treatment of the current symptoms of patients, adjustment and treatment of phsical constitution of patients and improvement of the adaptability of patients to environmental changes should attract attention, thereby reducing the frequency of incidence and alleviating the symptoms. The application of the abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture for the improvement of the symptoms and physical constitution of allergic skin disease patients has obvious efficacy, which should be applied and promoted in clinic.

6.Observation on the Efficacy of Montelukast in the Treatment of Children with Asthma and its Effect of TIMP-1 and MMP-9
China Pharmacist 2016;19(7):1307-1308,1316
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of montelukast in the treatment of children with asthma and its influence on the serum levels of metalloprotease-9 (MMP-9) and metal protease inhibitor-1 (TIMP-1).Methods:Totally 90 cases of asthma children were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group with 45 ones in each .The control group was treated with the conventional symptomatic treatment , and the observation group was treated with montelukast chewable tablets additionally , and the treatment course was 8w.The effectiveness adverse reactions were compared between the groups , and the lung function indices and the changes of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 levels of the two groups were compared as well .Results: The total effective rate of the observation group (93.33%) was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of FEV1 and PEF were significantly higher than those before the treatment in the two groups , the levels of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were notably lower than those before the treatment in both groups , and the changes in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group (P<0.05).There were no adverse drug reactions in both groups .Conclusion:Montelukast combined with the conventional therapy can down-regulate the serum levels of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 and inhibit airway remodeling resulting in improved curative effect with high safety.
7.Expression of surfactant protein A in lung carcinoma and its clinical significance
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(11):1072-1073,1076
Objective To investigate the expression of surfactant protein A(SP-A)in adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma of lung and its clinical significance. Methods The expression of SP-A was determined by immunohistochemical assay (EnVision) in 27 cases of adenocarcinoma,15 cases of squamous cell carcinoma of lung. Then the association of SP-A expression with clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. Results The expression rate of SP-A was significantly higher in adenocarcinoma of lung than that in squamous cell carcinoma of lung(51.85% vs 6.67%,P<0.01).The expression rate of SP-A in papillary adenocarcinoma, bronchioloalveolar carcinoma, acinar adenocarcinoma and musinous adenocarcinoma of lung was respectively 85.71%,50%,40%and 25%.There was no correlation between the expression of SP-A and gender, age, tumor size and lymph node metastasia. Conclusion The expression of SP-A may be associated with histological types of the lung carcinoma, which may be used as important marker in differential diagnosis of adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma of lung.
8.Influence of Monograph Treatise on Pestilence Dealing with Infectious Disease on Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE To discuss about the influence of the monograph Treatise on Pestilence(Wenyilun) dealing with infectious disease on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).It was the first time alternatively to describe about infectious disease in etiology, pathogenesis and treatment by TCM way. METHODS In etiology,it was described Zaqi(a special pathogenic factor) to cause infectious epidemic disease, not by general six pathogenic factors. It was similar with modern medicine in etiology. In pathology,it was analyzed and differentiated the developing of an epidemic febrile disease treatment with Qi and Xue.In treatment,it used elimination treatment method including diaphoresis, inducing emesis, and purgation therapy. RESULTS Since then a new science of epidemic febrile disease of TCM was gradually formed. CONCLUSIONS This new theory has deeply influenced in the analysis and differentiation and treatment of epidemic febrile disease. Now theory on epidemis febrile disease of TCM is becoming a systemic and comprehensive doctrine about infectious disease treatment in modern Chinese medicine.
9.Protective effects of quercetin on nephrotoxicity induced by cyclosporine A in rats
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(06):-
AIM: To investigate the protective effects of quercetin on nephrotoxicity induced by cyclosporine A(CsA)in rats. METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into four groups of seven rats each. Control group, quercetin (40 mg/kg) group, CsA (40mg/kg) group, CsA (40 mg/kg) plus quercetin (40 mg/kg) group. The all groups were administered once day respectively for 15 days. Twenty-four hour urines were collected at the 10th and 14th day respectively after administration to measure the content of urinary protein and urinary N-acetyl-?-D-glucosaminidase(NAG). The animals in all groups were sacrificed 4 h after the last administration. Blood samples were collected to measure serum creatinine(SCr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN). Kidneys were removed rapidly, excised and sectioned for histological analysis. Other kiney tissues were utilized for biochemical analysis. RESULTS: Quercetin prevented urinary protein, SCr, BUN, NAG, and kidneys histological alterations.Quercetin significantly decreased malondialdehyde(MDA) content while significantly increased glutathione(GSH) content and glutathione-S-transferase(GST), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase(CAT) activities of kidneys tissues in the rats treated with CsA. CONCLUSION: Quercetin can effectively attenuate the nephrotoxicity induced by CsA.
