Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Objective To get a new approach to conserve the germplasm of Platycodon grandiflorum. Methods A method of vitrification was studied to cryopreserve in vitro shoot-tips of P. grandiflorum, and the regenerated plantlets were observed subsequently. Results Shoot-tips, 2—3 mm length, gotten from in vitro shoots of P. grandiflorum precultured on MS medium supplemented with 5% DMSO and 103 g/L sucrose for 3 d, were loaded with the 60% PVS_2 for 20 min at 20 ℃, and incubated in PVS_2 for 90 min at 0 ℃ prior to a direct plunging into liquid nitrogen (LN) and keeping for 1 d. After rapid thawing in water at 40 ℃, the shoot-tips were rinsed in the MS medium supplemented with 410 g/L sucrose for 20 min, and plated on the filter paper sustained by the MS regeneration medium supplemented with 0.6 mg/L KT, 0.2 mg/L BA, and 0.05 mg/L NAA for 1 d in dark and subcultured on the above regeneration medium for one week in dark prior to exposure to the light. The survival of shoot-tips was up to 80%, and they grew normally. Conclusion The method of vitrification to cryopreserve the germplasm of P. grandiflorum is simple in handling with high in survival and normal in regeneration and can be applied in practice.
2.Perceptual Priming in Brain Injury
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(6):519-522
Objective To investigate the perceptual priming in brain injured patients. Methods 41brain injured patients, including 24 brain injury and 17 stroke. 99 normal controls, including 39 young, 39 middle aged and 21elderly people. All of them were estimated by the Fragmented Picture Naming Task. Results The patient group had lower priming scores than the young (t=5.558, P<0.001), and middle and elderly-aged (t=3.100, P=0.003) control group in the Fragmented Picture Naming Task. Conclusion Perceptual priming is not only concerned with occipital lobe, but also with frontal and temporal lobes possibly.

Gut microbiota plays an important role in the maintenance of physiological function and genesis of some gut diseases. Brain-gut axis,as an important link between brain and gastrointestinal tract,is a requisite of gut microbiota stability. The dysfunction of brain-gut axis may lead to intestinal dysbiosis through activation of intestinal immune activity. Conversely, intestinal dysbiosis can influence nervous system development and may cause dysfunction of brain-gut axis,in which vagus nerve and metabolites in serum may be the critical factors. This article reviewed the advances in study on interaction between gut microbiota and brain-gut axis.

Objective To study the esophageal motor function in patients with reflux esophagitis (RE) and Barrett esophagus ( BE). Methods Patients with reflux esophagitis and Barrett esophagus which were diagnosed by endoscopy were recruited for symptomatic investigation, Twenty-seven patients with RE, 18 patients with BE and 12 non-reflux patients as controls were recruited prospectively for stationary esophageal manometry and 24-hour ambulatory esophageal pH monitoring. Results Besides dysphagia, the symptom scores of heartburn, acid regurgitation and retrosternal pain in BE groups were lower than those in RE groups (P 0. 05). DeMeester score of 24-hour ambulatory esophageal pH monitoring, total times of pH

Objective To explore the value of maximun P wave duration (P max ) and P wave dispersion (P d),that is,the difference between the maximum and minimun P wave duration in patients with idiopathic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Methods P max and P d were measured from 12 lead surface electrocardiogram among 20 patients with a history of idiopathic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and 20 age matched healthy control subjects. Results P max and P d were found to be significantly higher in patients with a history of idiopathic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation than in the control subjects(P

Objective To present 8 cases of retroperitoneal laparoscopic pyelolithotomy or ureterolithotomy for the treatment of pelvis and ureteral stone. Methods 8 cases of pelvis or ureteral stone have been treated by retroperitoneal laparoscopic pyelolithotomy or ureterolithotomy. The size of the calculi was 0.8~2.4 cm with the incarceration time of 3 months~2 years.Details of the procedure were presented. Results Success has been achieved in all the patients and no complication has been observed during the 3~6 months of follow up. Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopic pyelolithotomy or ureterolithotomy for the treatment of pelvis or ureteral stone is simple ,safe, less traumatic and effective.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
Objective: To analyze the differences of two anchorage ty pe s in closing the space following tooth extraction in maxilla. Methods:By using Spiral CT scanning, image processing and CAD technology, a three -dimensional finite element model of maxilla which could simulate the closing o f space following the extraction of maxillary first bicuspid was established. Ba sed on the model, two loading models were developed, which contained palatal imp lant and transpalatal arch respectively to reinforce the anchorage of molar. Th e two anchorage types were compared and the finite element analysis of closing t he space was performed. Results: The displacement(mm) of the firs t permanent molar in X, Y and Z direction in the model with palatal impl ant was -0.001 162 4,-0.000 901 9 and 0.000 196 2, that in the model with transp alatal arch -0.001 163 7,-0.000 902 2 and 0.000 196 4, respectively(P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(08):-
Lipoxygenase(LO) pathway had been implicated in the pathogenesis of such cardiovascular diseases as hypertension, atherosclerosis, restenosis, and palys and important role in the development of these disease. LO inhibitiors could suppress vascular contractile responses significantly, reduce blood pressure, inhibit migration of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC), attenuate neointimal thickening in the injuried arteries and generation reactive oxygen species(ROS), block monocyte binding to VSMC, etc. The effects of LO inhibitors were associated with marked inhibition of MAPK pathway. Therefore, inhibition of LO pathway may provide a new strategy for preventing and treating above diseases, suggesting that LO mat be a novel taget for such purposes.
