1.Effect of individual nursing care interventions on calcitriol shock treatment for hemodialysis patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism
Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2015;21(1):57-59
Objective To investigate the effect of individual nursing care interventions on calcitriol shock treatment for hemodialysis patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism .Methods From October 2011 to October 2013 , 60 maintenance hemodialysis patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism with iPTH above 1 000 pg/ml were randomly divided into control group ( 30 cases ) and experimental group ( 30 cases ) .The control group received routine care , and the experimental group was provided individual nursing care interventions by nurses , including individualized cognitive intervention , dietary intervention and drug guidance . The effect of nursing intervention was evaluated after 6 months. Results In the experimental group, 20 patients had a good compliance , 8 patients had a moderate compliance , 2 patients had poor compliance after the implementation, which were significantly better than those in the control group (Z=2.170,P<0.05).The pass rate of diet in the experimental group was 83.33%(25/30), which was significantly higher than 60.00%(18/30) in the control group (χ2 =4.022,P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the calcium content of the two groups but phosphorus , calcium-phosphorus product , iPTH levels were significantly lower in the experimental group (P<0.05).Conclusions The individual nursing care plays a positive role in the effect of hyperparathyroidism calcitriol shock treatment .

Objective:To explore the influencing factors of pregnant women's fear of childbirth. Methods:From January 2020 to February 2021, convenience sampling was used to select pregnant women attending the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital as the research object. The General Information Questionnaire, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) , the Chinese Version of Wijma Delivery Expectancy/Experience Questionnaire Version A (W-DEQ-A) were used for investigation. Binomial Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of pregnant women's fear of childbirth. A total of 385 questionnaires were distributed and 359 valid questionnaires were returned. Results:According to the degree of fear of childbirth, 359 pregnant women were divided into mild to moderate fear group ( n=293) and severe fear group ( n=66) . The frequency of pregnancy, infertility treatment, planning pregnancy, whether it is consistent with the expected delivery method, and depression were the influencing factors of pregnant women's fear of childbirth ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:We should focus on pregnant women's fear of childbirth, and carry out interventions for influencing factors.

Objective:To examine the impact of sleep quality on cognitive function in older adults with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and explore the potential mediating role of depression. Methods:Using a cross-sectional design, we conducted an on-site questionnaire survey among 310 elderly individuals with MCI in Haishu District, Ningbo City from April to June 2021.Out of the 310 questionnaires collected, 299 were deemed valid. The survey encompassed gathering basic demographic information of the participants, as well as administering the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire Depression Scale, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale. Results:The cognitive functions of patients with MCI were found to be positively related to their education level( F=3.89, P<0.05).The correlation analysis indicated that sleep quality was positively correlated with depression( r=0.40, P<0.01)and negatively correlated with cognitive function( r=-0.22, P<0.01).Furthermore, a significant negative correlation was observed between depression and cognitive function( r=-0.20, P<0.01).The mediation analysis revealed that depression played a role in mediating the influence of sleep quality on cognitive function, with a mediation effect of -0.02(95% CI: -0.03--0.01). Conclusions:The cognitive function of elderly individuals with MCI can be significantly affected by sleep quality, with depression playing a mediating role.

Fentanyl is a fully synthetic opioid with analgesic and anesthetic properties. It has become a primary driver of the deadliest opioid crisis in the United States and elsewhere, consequently imposing devastating social, economic, and health burdens worldwide. However, the neural mechanisms that underlie the behavioral effects of fentanyl and its analogs are largely unknown, and approaches to prevent fentanyl abuse and fentanyl-related overdose deaths are scarce. This review presents the abuse potential and unique pharmacology of fentanyl and elucidates its potential mechanisms of action, including neural circuit dysfunction and neuroinflammation. We discuss recent progress in the development of pharmacological interventions, anti-fentanyl vaccines, anti-fentanyl/heroin conjugate vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies to attenuate fentanyl-seeking and prevent fentanyl-induced respiratory depression. However, translational studies and clinical trials are still lacking. Considering the present opioid crisis, the development of effective pharmacological and immunological strategies to prevent fentanyl abuse and overdose are urgently needed.
