1.Effects and expression of KLF4 in leukemic cell line K562
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(3):137-138,145
Objective To investigate the expression and effect of zinc-finger protein kuppel-like factor4(KLF4) in leukemic cell line K562. Methods The lever of mRNA and protein of KLF4 is determined with real-time PCR and Western blot in human peripheral monoeyte/macrophage and K562 cells. Results Compared with control group (0.43±0.03), the expression of KLF4 mRNA in K562 cells (0.02±0.01) wassignificant different(P<0,05). The expression of KLF4 protein in human peripheral monocyte macrophage is higher than that in K562 cells. Conclusion The low expression of KLF4 was present in leukemic cell line K562,which may suggest that KLF4 gene maybe a tumor inhibitor factor, and partially involved in leukemogenesis.
2.Human cervical cancer oncogene and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(12):883-885
Human cervical cancer oncogene(HCCR) is newly identified in cervical cancer tissues, and expresses in most human tumors. Resarches show that HCCR is a candidate marker for human hepatocelular carcinoma and breast cancer. Moreover, the expression of HCCR is regulated by mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase signal pathway. The proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion of tumor cells could be inhibited by siRNA of HCCR.

OBJECTIVE:To study the preparation, quality control, pharmacodynamics and toxicology of Houyanqingshui honeyed pills(HHP).METHODS:The content of glycyrrhizic acid in HHP was determined with HPLC;the anti-inflammato?ry,analgesic and expectorant actions of this preparation and the acute and long-term toxicity were observed.RESULTS:The linear range of glycyrrhizic acid in HHP was0.0384~0.615mg/ml.The recovery was(99.20?1.75)%.The preparation had anti-inflammatory,analgesic and expectorant actions and to obvious acute and long-term toxicity was found.CONCLUSION:HHP is simple in preparation technic, controllable in quality, reliable in therapeutic effect and safe in use.

Hemophagocytic syndrome is a group of fatal immune function disorder, which can be divided into primary and secondary HPS.The disease is complex, lacking of specificity, difficult in diagnosis with quick progress, high mortality and poor prognosis. The diagnosis is mainly based on the HPS-2004 diagnostic criteria, etoposide, dexamethasone and cyclosporine would be first chosen for treatment. This article reviews the clinical advances on etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of hemophagocytic syndrome.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers. The clinical treatment of breast cancer has made great progress, but the inherent or acquired drug resistance, tumor migration and tumor infiltration, which lead to poor treatment efficiency and eventually death, are still the urgent problems to be solved. As with the occurrence and development of common tumors, the abnormal proliferation, migration and infiltration of breast tumor cells and muhidrug resistance (MDR) are closely related to the abnormal expression of specific genes in the cell.At present, many studies have found that the occurrence and development of tumor is closely related to the abnormal expression of microRNA.Therefore,in order to better understand the molecular mechanism of the occurrence and development of breast cancer,it is necessary to study the function of microRNA in breast tumor cells. In this paper, the application of microRNA in the treatment of breast cancer was reviewed, striving for providing effective ideas for the future selection of new strategies to control the development of tumors.

Polymersomes have attracted tremendous attention as novel drug delivery systems because of their unique and superior structure, tunable membrane properties, colloidal stability, and ability in encapsulating a broad range of both water soluble and insoluble substances. In this paper, preparation method and criteria for the formation of polymersomes, their structure and characterization as well as amphiphilic block copolymers for vesicle formation are addressed. Moreover, research progress on polymersomes as drug delivery system in the field of therapeutic and diagnostic applications are reviewed in this paper.

Objective: To investigate the effect of enteral and parenteral nutrition on critically ill patients in ICU. Methods: Nutrition support were analyzed in 56 critically ill patients in ICU,with 32 cases supported by enteral nutrition and 24 cases supported by parenteral nutrition. Results: 52 patients restored to health and 4 patients died from original disease. It was found that serum prealbumin was improved(P

Objective To analyze the safety and effectiveness of ambulatory surgery in inguinal herniorraphy. Methods The clinical data of 3 852 cases of inguinal hernia repair patients admitted from January 2009 to December 2013 in this single center was analyzed retrospectively.Cases of emergency surgery were excluded. Results All patients had long-term follow-up (12-60 months).1 575 patients underwent day-surgery,mean operation time was (43.84 ± 12.35) min, mean time of ambulation was (1.12 ± 0.91) d,mean time of recovery was (5.78 ± 1.12) d,mean hospitalization was (1.34 ± 0.48) d,mean hospitalization cost was (7 546.49 ±2 962.57) RMB.In contrast, there were 511 patients underwent a non day-surgery,mean operation time was (48.59 ± 14.52) min, mean time of ambulation was (2.43 ± 1.38) d,mean time of recovery was (7.46 ± 2.62) d,mean hospitalization was (4.8 ± 2.91) d,mean hospitalization cost was (9 165.16 ± 4 281.83) RMB.Patients with day-surgery were significantly superior to those with non day-surgery in operation time (P =0.000),mean time of ambulation (P =0.000),mean hospitalization (9 =0.000),mean hospitalization cost (P =0.000) and mean time of recovery (P =0.000).Infection and readmission in non day-surgery patients was higher than that in day-surgery (P =0.000).There was no difference in postoperation pain and hernia recurrence. Conclusions Ambulatory surgery in inguinal herniorraphy is safe with similar recurrence rate;but significantly lower cost and shorter hospitalization.
