Objective To investigate the mechanisms of endothelial cell injury in women with pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Methods Human umbilical endothelial cells were cultured in the serum from 10 women with severe PIH and 10 normal pregnant women, and co-cultured with neutrophils or not for 48hrs. The morphology and cell cycles were studied. Results Without neutrophils, no apoptotic cells were observed, while neutrophils were added, apoptotic cells were obviously detected. The percentage of apoptotic cells in PIH was more than that in non-PIH. The percentage of cells in G 2/M phase decreased in all the groups, but there were no significant differences among them. Conclusions Endothelial cells were injured indirectly in PIH patients. Activated neutrophils induced apoptosis might be one of the answers.

Objective To obtain the pneumococcal autolysin(LytA)and choline binding protein A(CbpA)by prokaryotic expression system and investigate their diagnosis for infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae.Methods The specific primers were designed according to lytA and cbpA of Streptococcus pneumoniae gene sequence.lytA and cbpA were amplified by PCR form the pneumococcus genome.After IPTG inducing,the recombinant proteins were purified by electroeluting of bag filter,detected by SDS-PAGE and Western blot.Serum lgG and IgM antibodies accordingly of BALB/c mice infected with Streptococcus pneurnoniae were detected by ELISA.Results The recombinant plasmid pET-32a(+)/lytA and pET-32a (+)/cbpA were constructed successfully.Fusion proteins LytA and CbpA were expressed and displayed expected antigenicity.IgM and IgG antibodies level anti LytA were significantly higher than the control group (infections with B Streptococcus group and healthy mice),(P<0.05),but antibodies level anti CbpA did not increase as compared with group infected with B Streptococcus(P>0.05).Diagnostic sensitivity of CbpA was 83.3%(IgG)and 75.0%(IgM).Diagnostic specificity of LytA was 100%(IgG and IgM).Conclusion The synergistic use of specificity of LytA and sensitivity of CbpA may be worthy of serological diagnosis for Streptococcus pneumoniae infection,and may be used for further clinical test.

Objective To analyze the pulse-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) patterns and antibiotic resistance of Salmonella enteritidisstrains isolated in Longyan city in order to provide reference for effective control, clinical diagnosis and treatment of outbreaks of food-borne diseases.Methods Seventy-seven Salmonella enteritidis strains isolated from food poisoning cases, livestock and poultry meat samples collected for food safety risk monitoring and sporadic cases in 2014 and 2016 were analyzed by PFGE.Antibiotic susceptibility testing was carried out to determine the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 16 common antibiotics to 57 strains.Results Seventeen PFGE types were identified among the 77 Salmonella strains including three predominant types (P4, P6 and P8) and were grouped into three major pulsotypes (Cluster1-3) at 90% similarity level.The predominant types causing outbreaks of Salmonella enteritidis infection were P8, P6, P4 and P14, which were responsible for five cases of food poisoning.These isolated strains were highly resistant to nalidixic acid (93%), followed by resistance towards ampicillin (74%) and streptomycin (54%).Forty-one strains were resistant to three or more antibiotics (71.93%).Conclusion The PFGE types of Salmonella enteritidis strains isolated in Longyan city exhibit polymorphism and are clustered into three major pulsotypes.PFGE molecular typing can provide early-warning of sporadic outbreaks and help to identify the sources of infections in Salmonella enteritidis-related food poisoning.Attentions should be paid to multidrug resistant Salmonella enteritidis.Surveillance for multidrug resistant strains and usage of antibiotics should be strengthened.

Objective To study the effects of different sources of dendritic cells (DCs) on root resorption and healing after allo-geneic tooth transplantation in rats .Methods The BN rats and Lewis rats were respectively used as the donor and recipient teeth for establishing the animal experimental transplantation models and randomly divided into 4 groups ,20 cases in each group :the syn-geneic transplantation group(A) and the allogeneic transplantation groups(B ,C ,D) .The group A and B were infused with PBS buffer solution 0 .5 mL on 7 d before operation .The group C and D were infused with 1 × 106 donor or recipient tolerogenic DCs on 7 d before operation .5 rats randomly selected from each group were sacrificed for performing the pathological examinations of transplanted teeth at the end of 1 ,2 ,4 and 8 weeks .Results The inflammatory cellular infiltration was most severe in the group B , slightest in the group A and moderate in the group C and D .The root resorption was minimal in the group A ,maximal in the group B and moderate in the group C and D (P<0 .05);the root resorption at 2 ,4 weeks had no statistical difference between the group C and D(P>0 .05) ,but which at 8 weeks in the group D was lower than that in the group C .The periodontal membrane healing points at 8 weeks in the group C and D was less than that in the group A ,but more than that in the group B (P<0 .05);the inflam-matory absorption was highest in the group B(P<0 .05);the alternative absorption was lowest in the group A (P<0 .05) .Conclu-sion The two different sources of tolerogenic DCs all could reduce the rejection reaction of allogeneic tooth transplantation ,reduce the root resorption and promote the healing of periodontal membrane .Recipient tolerogenic DCs could reduce the root resorption in late stage even more .

Objective To study the temporal changes of alveolar epithelial type Ⅱ cells and surfactant pro-tein A in young rats with acute lung injury induced by lipopolysaecharide. Method Totally 110 SD young rats (male:53, female : 57) were randomly divided into ALI and normal control groups (six subgroups in each group).LPS(4 mg/kg) was given intraperitoneally in ALI group. The same amount of normal saline was given in the con-trol groups. Eight rats in each subgroup were sacrificed at 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 hours after the injection.Lung samples were taken for transmission electron microscope examination. RT-PCR was epmloyed for the mea-surement of SP-A mRNA. Western blot was used for the detection of SP-A in the lung tissue. ANOVA and homo-geneity of variance test were performed by SPSS 12.0. Results The microvilli disappeared at 24 hours after the injection of LPS. The number of lamellar body (LBs) was provisionality increased at 24 hours and 48 hours. The ring-like an'angement of LBs around nucleus and the giant LB with vacuole-like deformity were found as the main characteristics of AEC- Ⅱ in ALI at 48 hours. The number of LBs reduced and broken and residual LB remained at 72 hours. SP-A elevated greatly from 24 to 48 hours (P < 0.01), reached peak at 36 hours (6.94 ± 0.80, P <0.01),reached the lowest level(3.87 ±0.50, P <0.01)at 72 hours. Conclusions The pathological changes of AEC-Ⅱ and SP-A in lung tissue wiht ALI are time-dependent. The typical alterations of AEC- Ⅱ occurs at 48 hours accompanied by the compensatory increase of SP-A. AEC- Ⅱ is seriously injuried with the typical changes of LBs and the diminishing of SP-A in lung tissue.

The association of interleukin 6 receptor ( IL-6R ) gene - 183 A/G ( rs4845617 ) and Asp358 Ala (rs8192284 A/C) polymorphisms with metabolic syndrome was investigated in Chinese Han population.The result showed that the frequencies of AA genotype and A allele were higher in patients with metabolic syndrome ( MS ) than those in healthy subjects ( P＜0.05 or P＜0.01 ).The risk of MS in patients with A allele was 1.643 folds of that with allele C(95％ CI 1.163-2.320,P＜0.01 ).No differences were found in the genotype and allele frequencies of -183A/G between two groups ( P＞0.05 ).The Asp358Ala polymorphism of IL-6R was significantly associated with MS in Chinese Han population.

Objective To discuss the allocation of oral medical resource in west area of Chongqing,and investigate the caries prevalence in these population.Methods Study samples was raised with the multistage stratified random cluster sampling method,then data was analyzed to compare the allocation of oral medical.Resource,awareness degree on oral health and caries prevalence in each age grade between urban and rural area.Results In west area of Chongqing,the allocation of oral medical resource and awareness degree on oral health were better in urban area than those in rural area.In each age grade,the caries prevalence is higher in rural area,when compared with that in urban area.In addition,the caries prevalence of 5 years old group and 12 years old group is the same between male and female in both urban area and rural area (P＞0.05).Nevertheless,in 35-44 years old and 65-74 years old group,the caries prevalence was higher in female compared with male in both urban area and rural area (P＜0.05).Conclusion In west area of chongqing,the rural allocation of oral medical resource is bad and needs improvement,the awareness of oral hygiene is weak among population of rural area.In west area of Chongqing,women in 35-44 years and 65-74 years old should pay more attention to caries prevention and treatment.

This study observed the disposition of beta2-adrenergic receptor (beta2-AR) Arg16Gly genotype and allele frequency among Sanda athletes in China, and investigated the diversity about the single nucleotide polymorphism of beta2-AR Arg16Gly between Sanda athletes and normal people of Han nationality in China. We used the technique of allele specified primer polymerase chain reaction to detect ADRB2 gene polymorphism of Sanda athletes (61 subjects) and normal Han nation people (50 subjects). The results showed there were significant differences about AA genotype, A allele, and G allele between Sanda athletes group and normal Han nation group (AA: chi2 = 6.646, P = 0.01, P < 0.05; A: chi2 = 4.003, P = 0.045, P < 0.05; G: chi2 = 4.003, P = 0.045, P < 0.05), and the frequency of AA genotype and A allele in the group of normal Han nation was higher than that in the group of Sanda athletes.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness,safety of the percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting(PTAS) in the management of the vertebrobasilar stenosis.Methods From April 2003 to June 2004,the PTAS was performed in 28 patients with the vertebrobasilar stenosis.Results Among the 28 patients,the unilateral significant stenosis of the dominant vertebral artery was found in 18 patients,the bilateral stenosis of the vertebral artery in 4 patients,the tandem stenosis of the vertebral artery in 1 patient,the stenosis of the basilar artery in 2 patients.According to Mori's division,the type A occurred in 24 patients,the type B in 3 patients,the type C in 1 patient.The successful rate of stent implantation was 100% without any serious complication.Twenty-eight patients underwent PTAS with a mean pre-procedural vertebrobasilar stenosis of 81.3% and the residual stenosis was less than 10%.Over a mean 6-month follow-up in 17 patients,according to Malek's scale,the scale 1 was in 15 patients,the scale 2 in 2 patients.No restenosis was in 3 patients by the cerebral angiography.Conclusion PTAS in the management of the vertebrobasilar stenosis is a safe and effective method.Meanwhile,PTAS may alleviate the vertebrobasilar ischemia and prevent stroke of the vertebrobasilar system.

Objective: To analyze the impact of life satisfaction and parental rearing methods on accidental injuries of primary and secondary school students in rural areas, and to provide a therotical reference for injury prevention and intervention among primary and secondary school students in rural areas. Methods: A stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 2 045 rural primary and middle school students in Luliang County, Yunnan Province, questionnaire survey regarding injury, MSLSS and EMBU was administered. Results: The incidence of accidental injury among rural primary and middle school students was 16.19 %, and the rate of boys (19.51%) were higher than that of girls (12.26%) ( χ 2=19.69, P <0.01). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis found that women, low injury risk behavior scores, and high life satisfaction scores were associated with less accidental injuries( OR =0.62, 0.98,0.81), while day to day school and father s overprotection were associated with more for accidental injuries( OR =1.50, 1.04, P <0.05). Conclusion Parents should pay more attention to children s safety education while creating a good living environment for their children, but they should pay attention to their own education methods to reduce accidental injuries.
