1.EFFECTS OF HEPATOCELLULAR TRANSPLANTATION ON ACUTE LIVER FAILURE IN RATS
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
In this study, acute liver failure was induced in rats by d-galactosamine (D-GalN) injection. Intraperitoneal injection,24 h later, of viable syngeneic hepatocytes apparently increased the survival rate of these animals (48%), while transplantation of non-viable hepatocytes was ineffective and even showed a certain degree of clotting disorders.A microscopical observation of the liver specimens and estimation of DNA synthesis cy 3H-TdR suggest that viable hepatocellular transplantation may minimize the hepatic injury and promote hepatic cell regeneration.

In this study, carbontetrachloride was administered orally to male Wistarrats at a dose of 2.5ml/kg body weight. The protective effects of RSM were comparedwith that of verapamil (a well-known calcium antagonist), and regitine (a vasodilator),to study the mechanisms of RSM action. The results showed that a significant correlation between CCl_4-induced liver tissuenecrosis and liver tissue calcium content(r=0.887, P

Objective To investigate the effects of propofol on mitochondrial membrane permeability during hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) in rat hippocampal neurons. Methods Primary cultured hippocampal neurons of fetal rats obtained from Wistar (17-18 days of gestation) were randomly divided into 3 groups: Ⅰ control group (group C), Ⅱ H/R group and Ⅲ propofol + H/R group. Neurons were cultured in the culture medium with combined oxygen glucose deprivation for 2 h followed by reoxygenation in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ. In group Ⅲ propofol was added to the culture medium with the final concentration of 20 μ mol/L before combined oxygen glucose deprivation.Neuronal viability was detected by MTT assay and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) with flow cytometry at 0, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after reoxygenation (T1-5) and the permeability of cell membrane and mitochondrial membrane was monitored at T5 using laser confocal scanning microscope. Results The neuronal viability and MMP were significantly decreased (P < 0.05), while the permeability of cell membrane and mitochondrial membrane was increased at T5 in group Ⅱ as compared to group Ⅰ . The neuronal viability at T1-4 and MMP at T1-5 were significantly increased (P < 0.05), while the permeability of cell membrane and mitochondrial membrane was decreased at T5 in group Ⅲ compared to group Ⅱ . Conclusion Propofol can protect rat hippocampal neurons against H/R injury through increasing MMP, improving the cell and mitochondrial membrane permeability, and increasing the neuronal viability.

Objective To construct a design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization, which will provide basis for the management of army pilot health management. Methods Using Delphi method, three rounds of questionnaires were done within 30 experts, to build the design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization, which contained information module, management module, implementation module, update module and system flow module. Results The experts′ authority coefficient was 0.850, coefficient of determination was 0.865, and familiar coefficient was 0.870. The design of northwest region army pilot health management was determined to contain 5 first-level indicators, 19 secondary indexes. The coordination coefficients of the three level indicators were 0.624 and 0.543,respectively, and the contrast of coordination coefficients had statistical significance (P < 0.01). Conclusions The design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization constructed by Delphi method is proved to be scientific, reliable and practical, which can provide the basis for the health management of northwest region army pilot.

Objective To design LCD system based on MSP430 using LCD controller S1D13700. Methods MSP430's control bus adopted the communication mode of MSC-51 singlechips, and was connected with S1D13700 by 8-bit data bus. The address buses were linked by the modes of indirect address and direct address respectively. Results The design was used for displaying cardiac wave and its parameters in cardiac monitor successfully. Conclusion The S1D13700's driver program, accomplished with standard ANSI-C, is gifted with brilliant versatility, and thus can be used in the design of the portable device.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Objective Applying a reliable precise method to assess the mitotic index of cardiomyocytes,to disclose of disclosure the mechanism implicated in cardiomyocytes proliferation. Methods H9c2(2-1) cardiomyocytes were originally developed from rat BD1X heart(ATCC).These cells were cultured on coverslips.Double immunofluorescence staining with monoclonal antibodies(1:100) against phospho-histone H3 and ?-sarcomeric actin was performed on the cultured cells.Anti-mouse IgG FITC was used as the secondary antibody for the H3P antibody, and anti-mouse IgM Cy3 was used as the secondary antibody for the ?-sarcomeric actin.DNA was visualized with Hochest 33342.All photographs were taken with an Olympus fluorescence microscope. Results The cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes appeared red,the mitotic chromosomes green with distinct shape, and Hochest 33342-stained nuclei blue. Conclusion Our method is the reliable and exact means to observe and assess cardiomyocytes mitosis.

Objective To observe the impact of DPP4 inhibitor Saxagliptin on body weight of type 2 diabetes patients. Methods In this randomized and parallel study,50 patients were given either Saxagliptin(n=25)or Glimepiride(n=24). The changes of body weight, HbA1c and hypoglycemic events were observated in 12 weeks. Results There were no significant difference in gender, age and body weight between 2 groups(P>0. 05). After 12 weeks treatment, body weight has significant changed in both group, and the weight changes were sig-nificant differet in two groups:an average of 0. 4 kg weight was increased in Glimepiride group and 0. 4 kg weight was decreased in Saxagliptin group (P<0. 05). The change of HbA1c level has no statistical difference in two groups (P>0. 05). Hypoglycemia event was happened four times in Glimepiride group, while no hypoglycemia event was happened in Saxagliptin group. Conclusion Compared with Glimepiride,Saxa-gliptin provides similar hypoglycemic action with less hypoglycemia,at the same time,Saxagliptin yields better results in lowering weight.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
In the rabbit's myocardial sarcolemma and artificial biomem-brane-liposomes, the lipid peroxidation caused by free radical gene-arting system ( FeCls & ascorbic acid ) was significantly inhibited by taurine at the concentractions of 5~20 m mol/L, and the inhibition effects of taurine were both dose and time-dependent. The results showed that taurine had an antioxidation effects and served as a scavenger of free radicals at the level of membrane.
