1.Effect of Shuxuetong injection on blood biochemistry and coagulation and fibrinolysis in patients with diabetic nephropathy

Objective To investigate the effect of Shuxuetong injection on anticoagulation of nephrotic syndrome.Methods 42 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:Shuxuetong group and control group.The Shuxuetong group were injected Shuxuetong injection while the control group were injected low molecular dextran and Danshen injection.Hemorheology and clotting index were detected before and after treatment.Results Hemorheology and clotting index of the two groups were improved.Hemorheology and clotting index of the Shuxuetong group were improved better than that of the control group.Conclusions The results suggested that the Shuxuetong injection was a safe and effective anticoagulation drug for the treatment of nephrotic syndrome.
2.On the rotation mode of standardized residency training of non-imaging professional residents in the department of radiology

The department of radiology, as one of the public platforms for standardized residency training, is very crucial to the training of high level clinicians and essential to improve quality of medical care. According to the present situation and existing problems of standardized residency training for the non-imaging professional residents in the department of radiology in China, combining with our practice, this article primarily explores the improvement of the rules and regulations, the specific arrangement of the rotation, daily and graduation examination forms, and training quality supervision, etc. We hope to improve the training quality of the non-imaging professional residents' rotation in the department of radiology and explore more suitable and effective medical educative strategies.
3.Antioxidative effect of Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides on diabetic rats

METHODS Thediabeticmodelwasinducedbyasingleintraperitonealinjectionofstreptozotocin (STZ)65 mg·kg -1 .Three weeks after modeling,TWP 4.5,9.0 and 1 8.0 mg·kg -1 was ig given to rats,once daily,for 8 consecutive weeks.During the experiment,the changes of body mass,hair, mental health of rats were observed.Two days before the end of the experi ment,the rats were placed into metabolic cages to collect 24 h urine in order to detect 24 h urinary albu min excretion rate (UAER). The rats were given TWP for 8 weeks and anesthetized with 1 0%chloral hydrate.The blood was collect-ed fro m the heart and centrifuged,seru m creatinine and urine creatinine were measured,and creatinine clearance (Clcr)was calculated.Blood urea nitrogen (BUN)and the serum catalase (CAT)activity were tested by optical method while the level of seru m superoxide oxygen anion(O2÷)was tested by col-orimetry.The level of malondialdehyde(MDA)was determined by thiobarbituric acid condensation,and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px)activity was tested by colorimetry.The right kidney was HE stained to observepathologicalchanges.RESULTS Comparedwithnormalcontrolgroup,theratsinmodel control group developed polydipsia,polyuria,polyphagia,body mass loss,unresponsiveness,brown hair,pale tail and apathy clammy.Besides,blood glucose,BUN and 24 h UAER were significantly higher (P<0.01 ),but Clcr was lower (P<0.01 ).The activity of serum CAT and GSH-Px in renal tissue was significantly lower(P<0.01 ),while the level of serum O2÷ and MDA in the renal tissue was significantly higher(P<0.01 ).Compared with model control group,TWP 9.0 and 18.0 mg·kg -1 could improve the general condition of rats.BUN and 24 h UAER were obviously reduced(P<0.01 ),Clcr and serum CAT were increased obviously(P<0.01 ),the level of MDA and O2÷ were reduced obviously(P<0.01 ),and GSH-Px level was increased(P<0.01 ).TWP 9.0 and 18.0 mg·kg -1 could significantly im-prove the renal histopathological changes of rats.TWP 4.5 mg·kg -1 had no significant effect on the aboveindicators.CONCLUSION TWPhasprotectiveeffectontherenalfunctionofexperimentalDN rats.The mechanis m may be related to inhibition of the oxidative stress and enhance ment of the body antioxidant capacity.
4.A novel genomic island SSGI4 in Streptococcus suis serotype 2

A novel genomic island (GI) in Streptococcus suis serotype 2(SS2) was identified, which resided in the highly virulent strains but not in the hypo-virulent strains or avirulent strains of SS2 of the Chinese isolates. This newly discovered GI strain was designated as SSGI4 and its whole length of genome was 11 269 bps, sharing the typical properties of pathogenicity islands, such as the distinct G+C content, a mosaic architecture characteristics and the specificity for virulent isolates. There were 11 genes within SSGI4, in which some genes were putative cell surface protein genes and others were amino acid-binding protein genes. Our finding sheds light on the investigation of horizontal gene transfer in SS2 and their influence on pathogenicity.
5.Effects of long-term walking exercise on health status of low labor-intensity people

Objective To investigate the effect of long-term walking exercise on the health status of low-labor-intensity population under long-term walking exercise.Methods A total of 100 volunteer teachers from universities in Beijing were enrolled.After physical examination,they were randomly divided into control group and observation group.The observation group regularly carried out corresponding encouragingactivities and recorded the daily number of steps.The corresponding indexes were measured again after 450 days.Results 45.24% participants in the observation group got more than 75% participation rate.The lower the participation rate,the lower the average daily steps (P < 0.05).The fasting blood glucose,systolic blood pressure,LDL and total cholesterol were lower than other groups in the group participation rate <25% (P <0,05).The body mass index,systolic blood pressure,fasting blood glucose,total cholesterol,ratio diabetes and hypertension in low activities group (< 7 500 steps/day) were lower than those in other groups (P < 0.05).Conclusions Walking exercise can achieve good long-term persistence with constant feedback.For those who are older and whose initial indicators are higher,participation rate and exercise volume are more likely to be better under the guidance of encouragement.Persisting long-term walking exercise can help reduce blood pressure and blood lipids.
6.Efficacy and safety of minimally invasive puncture and drainage for hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage at different time windows

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of minimally invasive puncture and drainage for hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage at different time windows.Methods:A total of 98 patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage underwent minimally invasive puncture and drainage in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2019 were chosen. These patients were divided into 3 groups in accordance with operation time: an ultra-early-stage group (accepted surgery within3 h of onset), an early-stage group (accepted surgery within 3-24 h of onset), an acute-stage group (accepted surgery within 24-72 h of onset); the clinical data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed. The hematoma clearance, muscle strength improvement 14 d after surgery, consciousness improvement 14 d after surgery, National Institutes of Health Neurological Deficit Scale (NIHSS) scores 14 d after surgery, and re-hemorrhage were compared among the 3 groups.Results:In the ultra-early-stage group, there were 11 patients (84.6%), 2 patients (15.4%) and 0 patients (0%) with low, medium and high hematoma clearance rates. In the early-stage group, there were 20 patients (33.9%), 32 patients (54.2%) and 7 patients (11.9%) with low, medium and high hematoma clearance rates. In the acute-stage group, 8 patients (30.8%), 14 patients (53.8%) and 4 patients (15.4%) had low, medium and high hematoma clearance rates. The hematoma clearance rate in the early group and the acute group was higher than that in the ultra-early group. Fourteen d after surgery, the proportion of patients with muscle strength improvement in the early-stage group and acute-stage group was significantly higher than that in the ultra-early-stage group ( P<0.05); the proportion of patients with consciousness improvement in the early-stage group was significantly higher than that in the ultra-early-stage group and acute-stage group ( P<0.05); NIHSS scores of patients in the early-stage group were significantly lower than those in the ultra-early stage group and acute-stage group ( P<0.05). There were 4 patients with postoperative re-hemorrhage, including one from the ultra-early-stage group and 3 from the early group. Conclusion:In patients with cerebral hemorrhage, hematoma clearance is relatively good and postoperative recovery is good when minimally invasive puncture and drainage is performed within 3-24 h of onset.
7.3-n-butylphthalide antagonizes etoposide-induced senescence in vascular endothelial cells

Objective To investigate the effect of 3-n-butylphthalide(NBP)on etoposide-induced senescence in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).Methods HUVECs were divid-ed into blank control group,etoposide group(500 nmol/L etoposide+dimethyl sulfoxide),etopo-side+low-,medium-and high-dose NBP groups(500 nmol/L etoposide+5,10 and 20 μmol/L NBP,respectively).Senescence-related β galactosidase(SA-β-gal)staining was used to observe the change in senescent cell proportion.Real-time quantitative PCR was employed to detect the mRNA levels of senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP),such as IL-8,IL-1β,and CXC chemokine ligand 1(CXCL1).Western blotting was applied to measure the expression level of ag-ing-related protein,P21.Immunofluorescence staining was utilized to detect the proportion of pro-liferation-related protein Ki67 positive cells.Results Significantly higher P21 expression(1.00± 0.00 vs 0.59±0.09),larger ratio of SA-β-gal positive cells(29.58±4.51)%vs(11.27±1.18)%,increased mRNA levels of IL-8(2.49±0.11 vs 1.00±0.03),IL-1β(6.32±0.15 vs 1.00±0.03)and CXCL1(2.40±0.24 vs 1.00±0.04),but reduced proportion of Ki67 positive cells(5.95±1.55)%vs(27.38±7.00)%were observed in the etoposide group than the blank control group(P<0.05).Low-dose NBP treatment decreased the ratio of SA-β-gal positive cells,P21 protein level,and mRNA level of IL-1β,and increased the proportion of Ki67 positive cells when compared with the etoposide group(P<0.05).Conclusion NBP has an antagonistic effect on etoposide-induced se-nescence of vascular endothelial cells.
8.Clinical significance of Autotaxin in primary biliary cholangitis and primary Sjogren′s syndrome

Objective:Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and Primary Sj?gren′s syndrome (pSS) are autoimmune epithelial inflammatory diseases that share many common clinical symptoms. The aim of this study was to investigate the differences and diagnostic value of Autotaxin (ATX) in PBC and SS.Methods:The clinical data of 237 cases diagnosed with PBC, PBC secondary to SS, pSS and healthy individuals(HC) between September 2020 and September 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The levels of ATX in each group were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the corresponding sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) and area under the curve ( AUC), etc were analyzed. Normally distributed data were expressed as mean ±SD and non-normally distributed as median (IQR). The differences and correlations between ATX and the biochemical tests in each group were assessed by applying the Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman correlation analysis, etc. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant difference. Results:The results showed that ATX was positive in 33.9%, 33.3% and 53.3% for PBC, PBC secondary SS, and pSS, respectively, with the specificities of 93.1%, 100% and 93.2%, respectively. The highest accuracy was achieved in pSS and the sensitivity and specificity were 86.5% and 93.2%, which were higher than those in PBC group(56.8%, 93.1%), respectively. Compared with HC [32.6(21.8, 60.5)ng/ml], ATX levels in PBC[59.3(48.6, 86.3)ng/ml, U=1 750.50, P<0.001], PBC-SS [73.6 (53.3,102.4)ng/ml; U=199.00, P<0.001], and pSS [152.6 (97.4,192.1)ng/ml, U=264.00, P<0.001] were elevated with significant difference ( P<0.05). ATX levels showed a decreasing trend from the pSS group to the HC group. ATX in PBC group[AUC(95% CI)= 0.73(0.651,0.812), P<0.001], PBC secondary SS group [AUC(95% CI)=0.82(0.730, 0.912), P<0.001], and pSS group [AUC(95% CI)=0.94(0.898, 0.984), P<0.001] had prediction accuracy. ATX was associated with total protein ( r=-0.31, P=0.041) level and glutaminase (r=-0.26, P=0.024) level. Conclusion:ATX has diagnostic value in both PBC and SS, and with higher sensitivity and specificity for the latter.
9.Haze weather health protection behavior and associated factors in adolescents

Objective:
To investigate adolescent haze weather health protection behavior, and to provide scientific basis for behavioral intervention and health guidance for adolescents in haze weather.
Methods:
From June 2015 to April 2016, 1 025 adolescents were selected from 22 classes in two middle schools of Baoding City, Hebei Province, by stratified cluster sampling method. General information questionnaire and the Brief Haze Weather Health Protection Behavior Assessment Scale Adolescent Version (BHWHPBAS AV) were used. Multiple linear regressions were conducted to explore factors affecting adolescent haze weather health protection behavior. Different models were used to confirm associations between influencing factors and BHWHPBAS AV scores.
Results:
Adolescents had a low overall score of BHWHPBASAV (45.81±13.16). The score rate of self adjustment after haze weather was the highest (64.54%). The score rate of obtaining relevant knowledge before haze weather was the lowest (50.28%). Compared with adolescents in urban area, rural adolescents had a lower BHWHPBAS AV score ( β=-3.20, P <0.01). Compared with students (living with parents), those living without parents had a lower BHWHPBAS AV score ( β=-4.16, P =0.01). Compared with students never receive physical examination,those had received physical examination during the past years had a higher BHWHPBAS AV score ( β=4.44,5.66,9.04, P <0.01). Compared with students with no knowledge of respiratory system diseases, those with moderate to sufficient knowledge had a higher BHWHPBAS AV score ( β=9.34,12.19,P <0.01). These associations were stable and consistent.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that residence, residence with parents, physical examination and knowledge of respiratory diseases were the relevant factors of BHWHPBAS AV score ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Adolescent haze weather health protection behavior level is low and is affected by many factors. Cooperation should be strengthened to conduct behavioral interventions and health guidance on haze health protection for adolescents, so as to promote healthy growth of adolescents.
10.Anti-PD-L1 antibody enhances curative effect of cryoablation via antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity mediating PD-L1highCD11b+ cells elimination in hepatocellular carcinoma.

Cryoablation (CRA) and microwave ablation (MWA) are two main local treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, which one is more curative and suitable for combining with immunotherapy is still controversial. Herein, CRA induced higher tumoral PD-L1 expression and more T cells infiltration, but less PD-L1highCD11b+ myeloid cells infiltration than MWA in HCC. Furthermore, CRA had better curative effect than MWA for anti-PD-L1 combination therapy in mouse models. Mechanistically, anti-PD-L1 antibody facilitated infiltration of CD8+ T cells by enhancing the secretion of CXCL9 from cDC1 cells after CRA therapy. On the other hand, anti-PD-L1 antibody promoted the infiltration of NK cells to eliminate PD-L1highCD11b+ myeloid cells by antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) effect after CRA therapy. Both aspects relieved the immunosuppressive microenvironment after CRA therapy. Notably, the wild-type PD-L1 Avelumab (Bavencio), compared to the mutant PD-L1 atezolizumab (Tecentriq), was better at inducing the ADCC effect to target PD-L1highCD11b+ myeloid cells. Collectively, our study uncovered the novel insights that CRA showed superior curative effect than MWA in combining with anti-PD-L1 antibody by strengthening CTL/NK cell immune responses, which provided a strong rationale for combining CRA and PD-L1 blockade in the clinical treatment for HCC.
