1.Coronary artery bypass in patients with end-stage hemodialysis-dependent renal failure

Objective To evaluate the safety of coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) on patients with end-stage hemodialysis-dependent renal failure.Method Two patients with hemodialysis who received CABG were reported.The features of clinical manifestation were studied.Results CHDF was preformed in two cases after operation.One patient died of hemorrhage on the third day after operation,the other patient showed relief of recurrent chest pain and improved quality of life after CABG.Conclusion Under a well-prepared dialysis program and meticulous perioperative management,CABG can be performed in dialysis-dependent patients,with increased but acceptable perioperative morbidity and mortality risks.Our initial experiences of CHDF during and after CABG suggest that the technique provides excellent electrolyte,metabolite and fluid management for the cardiac patients with chronic renal failure.
2.Study on gene diagnosis for Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Objective To diagnose the infection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa early. Methods Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to amplify the fragment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa OprI gene. The fragment was determined by HaeⅢ and PvuⅡ digestion, and sequencing analyses. Results It showed that 96 of 223 specimens were cultured to be positive with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 96 of which had expectant streaks. Otherwise the other specimens had no positive streaks. The procedure needed only 4 hours. The PCR products were determined by ribonuclease HaeⅢ and PvuⅡ , and resulted in two small fragments with 49bp and 112bp separately. By automatic sequencing analysis, the coincidence rate with the gene bank was 100%. Conclusions The results indicates that the OprI gene detection by PCR is a specific, sensitive and quick technique for the diagnosis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.

To prevent surgical risk, improve the quality of operation, and evaluate surgical doctors scientifically, it provides management experience and references.
4.Performance evaluation of BC-5000 five categories hematology analyzer

Objective To evaluate the performance of BC‐5000 five categories hematology analyzer (BC‐5000) .Methods The background and blank values ,carryover rate ,precision ,accuracy ,trueness ,and linear range were evaluated ,as well as the compara‐bility of its results with reference instrument (XE‐2100) detection and artificial classification of leukocytes .Results The back‐ground and blank values were both qualified .The carryover rates of all the detection items were less than 1% .The intra‐and inter‐precision of all the detection items were good ,and the accuracy and trueness were verified eligibility .The linearity of WBC ,RBC , HGB ,and PLT were good (r>0 .990) .Comparing with XE‐2100 and artificial classification ,Bas% was the only one item with poor correlation coefficient (r=0 .744 ,P>0 .05) .Conclusion BC‐5000 has good performance in hematology detection ,and it is an ideal small five categories hematology analyzer .
5.The combined application of performance analysis of σvalue,quality goal index and uncertainty evaluation on quality improvement in blood cell analysis

Objective To establish quality improvement project through theσ value and quality goal index ,then determine the effect of quality improvement by comparing the changes of uncertainty ,provide the laboratory basis for the effective improving of the quality of clinical laboratory .Methods The quality control data of blood cell analysis items were analyzed ,and the σ values , quality goal index (GQI) and measurement uncertainty [u(Rw)] were calculated and the performance was estimated .The quality improvement project was designed and had run for one year .The effect of quality improvement project was determined according to u(Rw) changes .Results The excellent rate (σvalue >4σ) of process performance evaluation in 2012 was up to 62 .5% ,the items withσvalue>6σamounted to 37 .5% ,about 62 .5% of the items needed to be improved .Comparing the u(Rw) in 2013 with 2012 , the improvement rate was 50% .The laboratory quality had been improved .Conclusion The performance analysis of σvalue ,GQI combined uncertainty evaluation is a good management method to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost .
6.Therapeutic Effect of Extracts of Shengji Huayu Fang with Different Solvents in Rats with Deep Second De-gree Burn Wound

Objective:To study the wound healing effects of the extracts of Shengji Huayu Fang with different solvents and demon-strate their important role in wound healing for deep second degree burn wound. Methods:Sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly di-vidied into six groups(ten rats in each group): the control group (saline), the positive control group (asiaticoside group), Shengji Huayu Fang group respectively with petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol as the extraction solvent. The extracts of Shengji Huayu Fang with different solvents were applied in the rats with deep second degree burn wound, and the wound healing was e-valuated by the healing rate judged by naked eyes and computer image analysis, DNA cell cycle analysis using a flow cytometry, patho-logical reports and the degree of re-epithelialization studied by the other methods. Results:The mean healing time of the chloroform ex-tracts group [(15. 67 ± 1. 12)d] was much shorter than that of the control group [(22. 87 ± 1. 01)d, P<0. 01]. The hydroxyproline content and the percentage of S-phase cells in wound tissue in the chloroform extracts group was obviously higher than those in the con-trol group (P<0. 01). Conclusion:The present study indicates that topical application of chloroform extracts of Shengji Huayu Fang is beneficial to burn wound healing, and the chloroform extracts of Shengji Huayu Fang is the main bioactive fraction.
7.Home-based Care Service Package for Urban Disabled Elderly in Zhengzhou, China

Objective To construct a home-care service package for the urban disabled elderly that satisfy their demands and improve the efficiency of service. Methods From August to October, 2014, a total of 285 disabled (mild, medium and severe) elderly from a cluster sampling were investigated with the self-designed questionnaire about home-care demands among them. An initiatory service package was drawn to meet the demands reported by 40% of them or above. The package was consulted by a group of 15 experts using Delphi method. Results The final service package included 11, 19, 20 items of care for the mild, medium and severe disabled elderly, respectively. Conclu-sion The disabled elderly home-care package in Zhengzhou has been created based on the demands among disabled elderly.

9.Abnormal fat accumulation and changes in peroxisome fatty acids ?-oxidation in liver of obese rats with type 2 diabetes

Objective To investigate the metabolic changes in free fatty acids in the livers of obese rats with type 2 diabetes.Methods Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into control group(Con group) and diabetes mellitus group(DM group),with 15 in each group.Rats in Con group and DM group were fed with normal diet and high-fat diet,respectively.Eight weeks later,OGTT and ISI test were performed to identify insulin resistance.Then the insulin-resistant rats received intraperitoneal injection of low-dose streptozocin(STZ) to induce type 2 diabetes.After giving high-fat diet further for six more weeks,8 rats of each group were sacrificed and artery blood and liver sample were obtained for further analysis.The mRNA levels of diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1(DGAT1),carnitine palmitoyltransferaseⅠ(CPTⅠ),palmitoyl-CoA oxidase(ACOX1),D-bifunctional protein(DBP) and L-bifunctional protein(LBP),which were involved in fatty acids metabolism,were evaluated by RT-PCR.The protein level of DBP was evaluated by Western blotting Peroxisome fatty acids ?-oxidation was measured by spectrophotometry.Free fatty acids in blood and liver were determined by gas chromatography.Oil red staining was used to determine the fat accumulation in liver.Results The mRNA expressions of DGAT1,CPTⅠ,ACOX1 and LBP increased(P
