Objective : To study diagnostic value of ultrasonic cardiography (UCG) for right heart occupying lesions (RHOL).Methods :A total of 48 RHOL patients ,who were diagnosed in our hospital from Jan 2014 to Jun 2017 , were selected .All patients received UCG and pathological examination to determine lesion location and type .With pathological examination as gold standard ,diagnostic coincidence rate of UCG for RHOL type was analyzed .Re‐sults :RHOL distribution :compared with superior&inferior vena cava ,there were significant rise in percentages of RHOL located at right atrium ,right ventricle and pulmonary artery (6.25% vs.31.25%, 29. 17%, 33. 33%) , P<0.01 all.RHOL type :percentage of malignant occupation was significantly higher than those of thrombus and myxoma (54.17% vs.20. 83%, 25.00%) , P<0. 01 both .With pathological examination as gold standard ,diag‐nostic coincidence rates of UCG for thrombus ,malignant occupation and myxoma were 80.00%, 92. 86% and 100% respectively ,there was no significant difference among them , P=0. 220 .A total of 18 cases (37.50%) with peri‐cardial effusion were found by UCG ,including two cases (4. 16%) who were diagnosed as benign thrombotic lesion by pathological examination ,and the other 16 cases (33.33%) were caused by malignant RHOL invading right heart system ,which included two cases (4.16%) of essential RHOL and 14 cases (29. 17%) with malignant lesion heart metastasis from other sites .Conclusion :RHOL type mainly includes thrombus ,malignant occupation and myxoma , and malignant occupation possesses relatively high incidence rate ,and it usually comes from malignant tumor metas‐tasis from other sites .Accuracy of UCG is high in diagnosing RHOL ,which is worth extending .

Objective To gain an in-depth understanding of the real experiences, feelings and needs of fathers of premature infants in NICU regarding hospital discharge preparation, and to provide a basis for medical institutions on the development of personalized health education plans and continuous nursing care plans for discharged premature infants. Methods By the purposive sampling method,15 fathers of premature infants in NICU of a tertiary obstetrics and gynecology hospital in Zhejiang Province from April 2022 to July 2022 on the day of discharge and 6 weeks after discharge were selected for semi-structured interviews, and the interview data were analyzed using the Colazzi's phenomenological 7-step analysis. Results The experiences and needs of NICU premature fathers in discharge preparation are divided into 4 themes.1.The father's problems coexist with the growth of premature infants, such as expecting to see premature infants on the day of discharge and having confidence in discharge care, experiencing various negative emotions after discharge, and increasing empathy and sense of responsibility after discharge.2.Inadequate ability to care for oneself, including a lack of access to professional care knowledge,a need to improve nursing skills, and an overreliance on premature mothers.3.Social role conflict in the family.4.Longing for assistance, including professional medical advice and more family support. Conclusion Fathers of premature infants in the NICU coexist with negative emotions and growth experiences as they prepare for discharge, with various needs such as reducing role conflict, enhancing independent care ability, and obtaining psychological and multi-party support. To improve their discharge preparation level, nursing staff should develop a personalized health education plan as well as a continuous nursing plan.

Lifestyle interventions, including dietary adjustments and exercise, are important for obesity management. This study enrolled adults with overweight or obesity to explore whether either low-carbohydrate diet (LCD) or exercise is more effective in metabolism improvement. Forty-five eligible subjects were randomly divided into an LCD group (n = 22) and an exercise group (EX, n = 23). The subjects either adopted LCD (carbohydrate intake < 50 g/day) or performed moderate-to-vigorous exercise (⩾ 30 min/day) for 3 weeks. After the interventions, LCD led to a larger weight loss than EX ( - 3.56 ± 0.37 kg vs. - 1.24 ± 0.39 kg, P < 0.001), as well as a larger reduction in fat mass ( - 2.10 ± 0.18 kg vs. - 1.25 ± 0.24 kg, P = 0.007) and waist circumference ( - 5.25 ± 0.52 cm vs. - 3.45 ± 0.38 cm, P = 0.008). Both interventions reduced visceral and subcutaneous fat and improved liver steatosis and insulin resistance. Triglycerides decreased in both two groups, whereas low-density lipoprotein cholesterol increased in the LCD group but decreased in the EX group. Various glycemic parameters, including serum glycated albumin, mean sensor glucose, coefficient of variability (CV), and largest amplitude of glycemic excursions, substantially declined in the LCD group. Only CV slightly decreased after exercise. This pilot study suggested that the effects of LCD and exercise are similar in alleviating liver steatosis and insulin resistance. Compared with exercise, LCD might be more efficient for weight loss and glucose homeostasis in people with obesity.
