However, chemotherapy and radiation therapy may lead to premature ovarian failure and infertility in young women with cancer. Cryopreserved ovarian tissue auto-transplantation is an effective method to preserve fertility of such female patients. At present, the biggest challenge of this technique is mass loss of follicles after transplantation. In this article, the influencing factors and improvement methods of survival of cryopreserved ovarian tissue auto-transplantation were reviewed.
