Objective To discuss clinical application of theory of TCM constitution on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Methods Literature of nearly 15 years was summarized to analyze the development of Chinese constitution theory and its application of on typing and treatment of NAFLD.Results Main types of constitution in patients with NAFLD were phlegm-dampness,deficiency of Qi and damp-heat.On tiis basis, treatment based syndrome differentiation of TCM could effectively prevent and treat NAFLD.Conclusion TCM constitution theory provide research ideas for NAFLD.

Objective To study syndrome and pathogenesis of patients of chronic hepatitis B treated by Lamivudine. Methods By Observing clinical information of Chinese medical symptoms, physical signs, tongue and pulse, TCM syndrome of 103 patients of Chronic Hepatitis B treated by Lamivudine were differentiated by two attending doctors and analyzed. Results Patten of 103 patients were: spleen deficiency and damp-heat (20.38%), spleen deficiency (20.38%), endoretention of damp-heat (19.41%), liver depression and spleen deficiency(13.59%), liver yin deficiency (8.73%); Syndrome of 103 patients were: spleen deficiency (47.57%), damp-heat (43.68%), liver depression (11.65%), liver yin deficiency (10.67%), blood stasis (8.73%), kidney yin deficiency (3.88%). Conclusion Pathogenesis of patients of chronic hepatitis B treated by Lamivudine was spleen-liver-kidney deficiency, and endoretention of damp-heat; Nature of disease was deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality, and simultaneous deficiency and excess; Common syndromes were spleen deficiency, damp-heat, liver depression, liver yin deficiency, blood stasis, and kidney yin deficiency.

Objective To evaluate outcomes of endovascular procedures for atherosclerosis obliterans (ASO) patients with diabetes mellitus (DM).Methods Data of patients undergoing endovascular procedures for atherosclerosis obliterans at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from January 2012 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed, disease characteristics, technical success rate, perioperative complications, ankle brachial index (ABI) improvement, clinical success rate, rest pain alleviating rate, limb salvage rate and survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results There were 144 patients (153 limbs) who received endovascular procedures, including 52 patients (56 limbs) with DM and 92 patients (97 limbs) without DM.Mean follow-up was 15 months. All patients experienced significant ABI improvement (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in technical success rate (80.4% vs 90.7%),perioperative complications rate(19.6% vs 24.7%),1 year rest pain alleviating rate (75.0% vs 85.6%),1 year limb salvage rate (91.1% vs 95.6%) and 1 year survival rate (92.3% vs 90.2%) between diabetic and non-diabetic groups (P > 0.05),but there was less 1 year clinical success rate in diabetic group (78.6% vs 88.6%,P < 0.05).Conclusions Compared to nondiabetic paitents, endovascular procedures for patients with DM has similar efficacy, when the procedures are properly undertaken and postoperative correct medication are given.

Objective To investigate effect of Qishen-Qinggan decoction on proliferation and apoptosis of human hepatocellular carcinoma cellline SMMC-7721.Methods SMMC-7721 cells were cultivated in vitro.Logarithmic growth phase cells were divided into a drug intervention group and a control group.SMMC-7721 cells were treated with Qishen-Qinggan decoction of 0.135、0.27、0.54、1.08、2.16 g/ml respectively for 12、24、48 hours in the drug intervention group while the control group remained untreated. The inhibition rate of SMMC-7721 cells were detected by MTT assay, cell apoptotic rate were measured by flow cytometry analysis. Results Qishen-Qinggan decoction of 0.135,0.27,0.54,1.08,2.16 g/ml had a significantly inhibitory effect on SMMC-7721 cells in a dose and time dependent manner.OD values of 12 hours were 0.89±0.05,0.85±0.05,0.80±0.06,0.78± 0.02,0.69±0.07,OD values of 24 hours were 0.77±0.07,0.74±0.07,0.59±0.07,0.50±0.09,0.39±0.08,OD values of 48 hours were 0.78±0.05,0.61±0.08,0.44±0.10,0.39±0.08,0.34±0.07 respectively. Each drug intervention group had significant difference compared with control group.Qishen-Qinggan decoction of 0.27,0.54 g/ml could induce apoptosis of SMMC-7721 were 11.19 ± 2.23,15.69 ± 2.51,compared with control group of 1.41 ± 0.22.Apoptotic rates of Qishen-Qinggan decoction of 1.08 g/ml had extremely significant difference with the control group (41.83 ± 7.11 vs 1.41 ± 0.22).Conclusion Qishen-Qinggan decoction could inhibit the proliferation of SMMC-7721 cells probably by inducing cell apoptosis.

【Objective】 To investigate the expressions of P53 and Ki-67 in prostate cancer (PCa)and to explore their correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics. 【Methods】 The expressions of P53 and Ki-67 in 90 PCa patients were detected with immunohistochemistry. Patients’ age, preoperative prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level, postoperative Gleason score, pathological stage, and invasion of neurovascular cancer embolus of all patients were recorded. The relationship of P53 expression with the above indexes was evaluated. 【Results】 The positive rates of P53 and Ki-67 were 27.8% (25/90) and 46.7% (42/90), respectively. The positive rate of P53 in pT2 and pT3-T4 stage groups were 19.7% (13/66) and 50.0% (12/24) (P=0.005), and the positive rate of Ki-67 were 36.4% (24/66) and 75.0% (18/24) (P=0.001), respectively. The positive rate of Ki-67 in Gleason score ≤6, ≤7 and ≥8 groups were 30.4%, 53.8% and 66.7%, respectively, with statistical difference. Positive expression of P53 was related to Ki-67 expression, but not to patients’ age, preoperative PSA level, postoperative Gleason score and nerve and invasion of neurovascular cancer embolus. 【Conclusion】 P53 expression is related to tumor stage and Ki-67, while Ki-67 expression is associated with tumor stage ang grade.
