Objective:To Study the equity of Chinese health systems performance and provide evidence for strengthening health system. Methods:Based on WHO health systems performance evaluation framework, the provincial data of expanded pilots under the national health service investigation and relative concentration index (RCI) were used to study the inequality of Chinese health systems performance from regions, income and education, etc. Results:The RCI values were lower than 0.1 on health status and satisfaction dimensions. The RCI of financial risks protection was higher than 0.2,which was at a respective higher level. Conclusion:The health performance of people with lower education and wealth were fragility and these people usually with health shocks. Therefore, the national and regional government should pay more attention on vulnerable group and provide more healthcare management and security support.

Objective To investigate the current prevalence of depressive disorder and the associated factors in pa?tients with essential hypertensive from cardiovascular divisions of tertiary general hospitals. Methods A Chinese version of Structured Clinical Interview for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fourth Edition) Axis I Disor?ders was conducted by five mental health professionals on 876 essential hypertensive outpatients at cardiovascular divi?sions of tertiary general hospital. Data on the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of these hypertensive pa?tients were also collected. Results The current prevalence of depressive disorders among essential hypertensive outpa?tients of tertiary hospitals was 16.6%(145/876). Risk factors for depressive disorders in hypertensive patients included fe?male gender (OR=2.817, 95%CI:1.161~6.885), being 65-year-old and older (OR=1.747, 95%CI:1.118~2.688), non-marital status (OR=2.023, 95%CI:1.203~3.398), gradeⅢhypertension (OR=1.776, 95%CI:1.226~2.333) and car?diovascular diseases (OR=2.018, 95%CI:1.427~2.587). Conclusion Essential hypertensive outpatients, who receive med?ical services at cardiovascular divisions of tertiary general hospital, have high prevalence of depressive disorders. Clini?cians should pay more attention to the mental health of outpatients with essential hypertension.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(01):-
Objective To discuss magnetic resonance fat suppression technique, such as Chemical Shift Selective and Short TI Inversion Recovery Sequence, and its clinical value. Methods 73 cases undergoing MRI fat suppression during March 2008 to July 2008 were adopted as the subjects, with such site examined respectively as the skull, basalis, nasopharynx, neck, bones and joints as well as abdominal pelvis.Comparative study of image quality was performed to determine the di-agnostic value of MRI fat suppression technique. Results Of the all cases,7 ones suffered from skull lesions,6 ones from eye diseases,11 ones from abdominal pelvic diseases,4 ones from liver diseases,4 ones from pancreas disorders, and 8 ones from pelvic diseases.Meanwhile,of 10 cases of basalis diseases, there were 8 ones of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and 2 ones of oropharynx disorder.Of 16 cervical disorders, there were 6 ones of neurogenic tumor,3 ones of leucoma,5 ones of metastatic tumor and 2 ones of lipoma.Of 15 cases of vertebral disorders and osteoarthropathia, there were 8 ones of bone contusion,3 ones of metastatic tumor,3 ones of angeioma and 1 case of lipoma.Fat suppression technique, with the lesion edge outlined clearly and the lesions containing adipose tissue identified, provided more information than regular MRI.Conclusion The fat-suppression technique can significantly improve image quality, enhance disease diagnosis rate, and thus is an important technology in MRI examination.

Purpose:To study the activity of toremifene and its synergistic effect with anti-tumor drugs on human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549,which might be expected to provide a new mode of therapy for the clinical management of lung cancer. Methods:The cytotoxic effects of these agents on human lung cancer cell line A549 were measured by a tet- razolium-based volorimetric assay (MTT assay). Results:Toremifene can inhibit the growth of A549 cell directly. The A value of the low dose toremifene combined with anti-tumor drugs were lower than that of anti-tumor drugs alone.Toremifene combined with VCR,ADM,DDP and VP-16 showed better effects. Conclusions:Toremifene combined with chemotherapy drugs shows significant synergistic anti-tumor effect on A549 cell. This might provide experimental evidence for lung cancer therapy.

Objective To study the expression of the fused proteasome activator REGγ(11S regulator complex gamma subunit) using gene recombination technology and to further study the interaction between REGγ and casein kinase-2 interacting protein-1(CKIP-1)in vitro. Methods Firstly, the full length cDNA fragment of REGγ was amplified through PCR using the plasmid pCMV-Myc-REGγ as template and subcloned into the prokaryotic expression vector pGEX-4T-2 before being transformed into E.coli BL21 cells. The protein expression was induced by isopropyl-β-D-thiogalactoside(IPTG) .Secondly, the protein expression was monitored by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting after ultrasonication. Finally, the GST Pull-down assay was performed to investigate the interaction between REGγ and CKIP-1 in vitro. Results The prokaryotic expression construct pGEX-4T-2-REGγ was generated successfully and confirmed by DNA sequencing. Expression analysis showed that the GST-REGγ protein was easily expressed and isolated mainly in the lysate supernatant after sonication and centrifugation. The GST Pull-down assay revealed the strong mutual interaction between REGγ and CKIP-1 in vitro. Conclusion The proteasome activator REGγ could interact with the negative regulator of osteoblastogenesis CKIP-1 in vitro and the current study has shed light on further investigations of their physiological relevance.
