Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(3):166-166
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation treatment on clinical nerve function deficiency (CNFD) and activities of daily living (ADL) of the patients with stroke. Methods45 stroke sufferers from different period were divided into three groups (1st group: in one month; 2nd group: one to six months; 3rd group: over six months). Before and after the comprehensive rehabilitation treatment was given, the CNFD, ADL and clinical effect were assessed.ResultsAfter comprehensive rehabilitation treatment, the CNFD of 1st group, and the ADL score of 1st group and 2nd group were improved significantly, and the 1st group's was better than the others. The total effective rate also increased in 1st and 2nd group. Conclusions Early rehabilitation treatment can improve the patient's neural motion function and the activities of daily living.
2.Relation between fasting C-peptide and insulin resistance.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(10):-
Objective To compare the differences between C-peptide and insulin in evaluation of insulin resistance. Methods From 2003 to 2004,according to oral 75 g glucose tolerance test(OGTT),44 subjects were divided into normal glucose tolerance(NGT)group, isolated impaired fasting glucose(I-IFG)group,isolated impaired glucose tolerance(I-IGT)group and combined impaired glucose tolerance(C-IGT)group.We discussed the relationship between glucose infusion rate(GIR)by hyperinsulin euglycemic clamp and IAI,HOMA-IR,QUICKI(these indexes from fasting insulin level),fasting C-peptide level, respectively. Results (1)GIR of I-IFG,I-IGT,C-IGT groups declined significantly compared with that of NGT group(P0.05).IAI,HOMA-IR and QUICKI of each group were of good relation to GIR respectively(P0.05),whose relative rates were among 0.394~0.042.Conclusion The level of fasting C-peptide has no relationship wiht the degree of insulin resistance.

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of Xiaoer Chiqiao Qingre granule in the treatment of infantile upper respiratory tract infections. Methods 100 children with upper respiratory tract infection were selected, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group,50 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Xiaoer Chiqiao Qingre granule, the control group was given ribavirin effervescent granules. The effects of the two groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96%,which was significantly higher than 78% of the control group (x2 =9.500 6,P < 0.05).The fever, symptoms and signs of improvement time in the observation group were better than those in the control group. Conclusion Xiaoer Chiqiao Qingre granule in the treatment of infantile upper respiratory tract infection can defervesce quickly, and has quick curative effect,so it is worthy of promotion.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
The concept of humanistic education is based on the concern of human beings and their abilities of development. Thus,it is an educational concept to optimize the teaching modules. It stresses the point that education must regard the develop- ment of human beings as the main line and human beings should be emphasized in education from the very beginning to the end. Case-Teaching Method which takes the students as the main part fully manifests the concept of humanistic education,in which all teaching activities and the processes closely revolve the students in order to train them to carry on their studies and to solve the problems independently.

Objective To explore the chromosome aberration of cervical cancers induced by human papillomavirus(HPV16)virus.Methods The change of change of chromosomes of Hela cells induced by HPV-16 infection HPV-16 in fection was detected by FISH.Results The integration sites of HPV-16 were not observed in Hela cells. But HPV16 virus was integrated on chromosomes 3.Conclusion HPV16 could cause chromosome 3 aberration in Hela cells and result in the occurance of cervical cancers.

Objective To compare the effect of music and music plus non- nutritive sucking interventions on the newboms' pain caused by heel lance. Methods 75 neonates from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) whose gestational age=28 weeks were randomly separated into the music group, the music plus non-nutritive sucking group and the control group. The newboms' crying and grimacing, heart rate (HR), oxygen 9at-uration(SpO2) changes and times of crying 90 seconds after heel lance were observed. Results The cry-ing and grimacing time, the convalescence time of HR and SpO2 in the two intervention groups were significantly shorter than the control group. And the amplitude of HR, SpO2 changes was also significantly smaller than the control group. The crying and grimacing time and the convalescence time of HR and SpO2 in the music plus non-nutritive sucking group were significantly shorter than the music group. Conclusions Music or music plus non-nutritive sucking can ease newboms' pain caused by heellance.Music plus non-nutritive sucking can strengthen the music ther-apy's analgesic effect.

Objective Queuing theory is the mathematical study of how waiting lines or queues are formed and dissipated o -ver time, which aims to work out the optimal design and optimal control of queuing systems based on the research of probability and regularity of various queuing systems .The aim of paper was to find out the maximum acceptable waiting time for outpatients in stomatol -ogy department and explore the rational allocation of dentists based on queuing theory model . Methods Questionnaires , worktime measurement and queuing theory model were applied to calculate indicators of queuing system in outpatient services of Stomatology De -partment , getting the maximum waiting time accpetable for patients and the reasonable number of dentists . Results The maximum acceptable waiting time for outpatients was 34.02 ±7.07 minutes, and it was reasonable to allocate 25 doctors in the morning and 16 doctors in the afternoon . Conclusion Applying queuing theory helps to optimize dentist number in outpatient services of Stomatology Department and provide scientific reference to improve medical efficiency .

Journal of China Medical University 2017;46(5):434-438,443
Objective This study aimed to identify high?risk groups for metabolic syndrome(MS)among Chinese children and adolescents by calculating the cutoff values of adiposity measures and insulin resistance(IR). Methods From December 2010 to January 2011,data from 933 Chinese subjects(492 boys and 436 girls, aged 11?16 years)from Liaoyang City,China, were included. Questionnaires were administered, and da?ta such as anthropometric parameters(height, waist circumference, and hip circumference),blood pressure, fasting blood glucose level, blood lip?id level, serum uric acid level, and fasting insulin level were collected. Receiver?operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was used to deter?mine the optimal cutoff waist?to?height ratio(WHtR),waist?to?hip ratio(WHR),homeostasis model assessment?insulin resistance(HOMA?IR) index, triglyceride level, glucose index(TyG index),and serum uric acid(SUA)level for identification of children and adolescents with MS. Results The AUC of WHtR,WHR,TyG index,HOMA?IR index, and SUA level were larger than 0.5,with P values of<0.01. The optimal cutoff WHtR and WHR derived from the ROC analysis were respectively 0.48(87.0%,84.1%)and 0.84(83.3%,70.3%)for boys and 0.46(95.1%, 81.8%)and 0.80(90.5%,71.8%)for girls. Conclusion This study demonstrated that WHtR and WHR are useful predictive markers of MS , while HOMA?IR,TyG index, and SUA level are not. The usefulness of these criteria needs to be verified by further evaluation.
