1.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition and drug resistance of tumors
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2013;(17):1068-1071
Differentiated epithelial cells could be transformed into mesenchymal cells through the epithelial-mesenchymal transi-tion (EMT), which is important for tumorigenesis and metastasis. Recent studies suggest that EMT is closely correlated to the resistance to chemotherapy of tumors. This chemoresistance could enhance tumor malignancy, which includes the induction of the EMT pheno-type. The paper reviews the research progress on EMT and its association with drug resistance of tumors.

3.Path analysis of resilience and anxiety, depression on quality of life among esophageal carcinoma patients undergoing radiotherapy and (or) chemotherapy
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(16):1201-1205
Objective To explore the impact of resilience and anxiety, depression on quality of life (QOL) among esophageal carcinoma patients undergoing radiotherapy and (or) chemotherapy. Methods A total of 125 patients were recruited into our study. Date were collected by European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer, Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30 (EORTC QLQ-C30) , Resilience Scale (RS) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) version 7.0 software was used to conduct the path analysis. Results The total score of patients′ QOL, RS and HADS were(51.98±19.42)points,(56.32±17.09)points,(14.59±7.04)points. Pearson′s analysis showed that QOL was correlated with RS and HADS ( r =0.423-0.588,P<0.05). RS was negatively correlated with HADS (path coefficient was-0.76 and-0.37) and HADS negatively correlated with QOL (path coefficient was-0.56 and-0.79). RS as a protective factor indirectly influenced QOL via HADS and the paths′ total coefficients was 0.69. Conclusions The level of QOL and RS were at poor level for esophageal carcinoma patients, as well as participants experienced anxiety and depression. HADS as intermediary variable has a greater moderating effect on relationships between RS and QOL. RS is a indirect protective factor of QOL. Interventions developed on the basis of influencing factors of QOL should be applied to improve patients′integral health status.

5.A Practical Approach to the Patient with Obesity
The Singapore Family Physician 2021;47(5):13-20
The prevalence of obesity and obesity-related comorbidities is rising. Primary care physicians are the frontline of healthcare and play a central role in the management of obesity. In this article, we discuss the 5As framework (Ask, Assess, Advise, Agree, and Assist) as a practical framework for obesity counselling, focusing on initiating the conversation and assessing the person with obesity. The assessment includes taking a weight history, excluding secondary causes, understanding lifestyle factors contributing to weight gain and assessing for complications of obesity. This assessment then makes it possible for subsequent patient engagement, including advising, agreeing (goal setting), and assisting the patient on an individualised care plan.
6.Analyzing of Depression and Nursing Strategy in Middle-aged Patients with Stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(1):93-94
Objective To investigate the depression after stroke in middle-aged patients and discuss the mental nursing. Methods Self-Rating Depression Scale was used to find 30 depression patients from 52 patients with stroke. They were analyzed and accepted mental nursing. Results The rate of depression mental state patients in 52 patients is 57.69%.After accepting mental nursing, the number of unsociability, morose and fatigue decreased, while that of role adaptation and self-confident increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion There is high incidence of depression in middle-aged patients with stroke.Mental nursing is helpful improve their adaptation and quality of living.

Objective:To identify the effect of ?-synuclein overexpression on mitochondrial membrane structure with atomic force microscopy. Methods:?-syn expression was mediated by AAV (adeno-associated viral vector) and Recombinant AAV/?-syn and AAV/LacZ viral particles were stereotaxically injected in the left side of rat substantia nigra (SN) for rat model of ?-synuclein overexpression. Mitochondria were isolated from rats SN of Brain. Mitochondria were analysis with JC-1 staining, atomic force microscopy and Western blot. Results:By 16 weeks post-infection of AAV-?-syn,the level of ?-syn increased about 2 times in mitochondrial fraction with Western blot and mitochondrial membrane potential (??) decreased with JC-1 staining. Furthermore, mitochondria swelling and porous like structure formed on the mitochondrial membrane with atomic force microscopy. Conclusion:The data suggested that ?-syn could accumulate in mitochondria, might form mitochondrial membrane pores and lead to ?? decreases. ?-syn might lead to mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson's disease.

[Abstract ] Objective The orthodontic-surgery is the most effective way to treat the severe skeletal class Ⅲmalocclusion, but the long-term stability is still disputed .The aim of this systematic review is to analyze the long-term stability of hard tissue of seriously skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion patients treated with orthodontic combined surgical treatment . Methods Literature were searched through the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials , Cochrane Library, Medline via pubmed (1950-2014), EMBASE (1980-2014) and other foreign databases , and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database , China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database , VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals , digital journal of Wan fang Data and so on .Unpublished conference papers and gray litera-tures were collected manually .The literatures consist of randomized controlled trials ( RCT) , quasi-randomized controlled trials and clini-cal case-control trial (CCT) were selected. Then meta analysis was performed for annexable literatures and qualitative description was performed for diverged documents . Results Five foreign articles and 1 Chinese article suitable for analysis were ultimately studied . All the studies were CCT and a total of 260 patients were involved in the present systematic review .Meta analysis showed that the SNA , SNB, ANB, MP SN and Y-axis did not change significantly during 3 years after operation (P>0.05) and a good skeletal class I facial types were maintained .The comparison results of MP-SN and Y-axis showed that there was no significant statistical difference and the mandibular plane angle maintained the relative stability .Meta analysis was not performed because of the different measurement methods of A, B, Pg and Ramus inclination , so the qualitative description was used .Point A and Ramus inclination remained relatively stable posi-tion, but point B and Pg had some replace compared with post-operative. Conclusion The orthodontic and surgical treatment for skeletal classⅢmalocclusion could keep the hard tissue relative stabil-ity except a little replace of the mandibular .
