1.Roles of cytokines in the formation of intracranial aneurysms
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(5):393-396
Intracranial aneurysm is a complicated disease caused by multifactors. Its mechanisms of the formation and rupture remain unclear. Cytokines are the general designation of the protein with bioactive small molecules secreted by the activated cells. They transmit information between the cells and regulate the physiological and pathological processes of cells.Several cytokines are involved in intracranial aneurysm formation and rapture. This article emphatically elaborates the roles of cytokines in the formation of intracranial aneurysms.
2.Pharmacokinetics of gastrodin from Tiangou Jiangya capsule in rats.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(15):2964-2967
The paper aims to study the pharmacokinetic parameters of gastrodin in rats effected by compound compatibilitiy and different doses of Tiangou Jiangya capsule. The extracts from Gastrodiae Rhizoma( equivalent to gastrodin 16.82 mg x kg(-1) and Tiangou jiangya capsule (equivalent to gastrodin 8.410, 16.82, 33.64 mg x kg(-1)) were oral administrated to rats respectively. The plasma were taken at various time points and treated with acetonitrile to measure the contents of gastrodin by HPLC method. The mean plasma concentration-time data were analyzed by 3P97 pharmacokinetic software and the pharmacokinetic parameters between groups were treated by SPSS 16.0. The results showed that gastrodin in rat was fitted to one-compartment model, Cmax and AUC of Tiangou Jiangya capsule were in direct proportion to oral administration, and t1/2Ka had nothing to do with doses, which indicated that gastrodin was fitted first-order rate transfter process in vivo. Morever, comparison with the Gastrodiae Rhizoma extract, isodose gastrodin in Tiangou Jiangya capsule showed a significant decrease for Cmax, Ke and increase for t1/2Ke, V/Fc, this indicated that compound compatibility can delay the absorbtion of gastrodin, prolong the resident time and promote the distribution in vivo, but its bioavailability is not significantly effected.

Objective To study the effect and mechanism of polypeptide from Chlamys farreri(PCF) on the thymocytes damaged by 60Co γ-rays. Methods The ceils were randomly divided into six groups: control group, 60Co groups (2 Gy, model),60Co + 0.5% PCF, 60Co+ 0.25% PCF, 60Co + 0.125% PCF, 60Co +0.1% VitC. The concentration of GSH-Px, ROS, A-SAC, T-AOC and the cells' viability were determined. The mitochondria membrane potential were tested. The expressions of P53, Bax and Bel-2 proteins were examined. Results The activities f GSH-Px, A-SAC, T-AOC in cells were enhanced, and the amounts of ROS were decreased by PCF. The expression of Bcl-2 gene was up-regulated, and down-regulated for the expression of P53 and Bax. All observed indexes of the PCF groups were significantly different compared with model group (P <0.05). Conclusions PCF has the protective effects on damages of thymocytes caused by 60Co irradiation. The mechanisms might be related to inhibiting of lymphocyte apoptosis and enhancing the activities of lymphocytes.
6.Expression of MT-1 and MT-2 Genes in Liver of Chronic Exposure to Inorganic Arsenate Mice
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the effect of MT-1 and MT-2 in liver damage in chronic inorganic arsenate exposure mice and to explore the mechanism of arsenic-induced liver damage. Methods The male Kunming mice were randomly divided into control and exposed groups. The control group was given ordinary feed and tap water. The exposed group was given ordinary feed and 300 mg/L of sodium arsenite solution by drinking water. After 10 months of treatment, the activity of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and globulin (Glb) content were determined. The total RNA was extracted by the TRIzol-phenol-chlorofor-method from the liver tissue. The quantity of the RNA was determined by spectrophotometry and its purity was judged at a ratio of A260/A280. Then real-time PCR(RT-PCR) was used to measure the mRNA expression of MT-1 and MT-2. Results Compared with the control group, serum ALT, AST activity and Glb content were higher and the MT-1 and MT-2 mRNA content was lower in the exposed group (P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(03):-
Objective:To explore the clinical application in urinary system stones of the inspection technologies intravenous pyelography (IVP),computer tomography urography (CTU) and magnetic resonance urography (MRU). Methods:We collected 100 cases of urinary system stones on which 80 were carried out to IVP,60 to CTU and 35 to MRU,25 patients were implemented all 3 examinations. CTU and MRU are reconstructed with multi-level reorganization (MPR),curved projection reproduction (CPR),volume reproduction (VR) and the maximum intensity projection (MIP). Results:Stones were found in 73 patients of the 80 people by IVP,the diagnosis rate is 91.3 %. Stones were found in all the 60 patients except 1 by CTU with images direct and accurate, the diagnosis rate was 98.1 %. By the MRU,stones were found in 20 of the 35 patients at a display rate of 57.1 %,with images displayed in a low stone location signal, filling defect and the hydrocele circs of renal pelvis and ureter. Conclusion:IVP is a simple method,easy-to-patient acceptance and has a high detection rate of stones; CTU has a good image quality and the detection rate is higher than the stone IVP. By combining with the original cross-sectional image, the rate of diagnosis is up to 98%; as a non-invasive and no contrast agent approach,MRU is also very important in the diagnosis of stones.

Objective To probe into the effects of fluoride on metal elements in the testis tissue of male rats, and provide experimental basis to further research for reproductive toxicity of fluoride. Methods Thirty-two healthy male Wistar rats, weighting 150 - 180 g, were randomly divided into 4 groups, normal sodium(control) by intragastrie administration for 90 days, and body weight was observed daily. After the last intragastric administration, all rats were killed by cervical dislocation. The contents of calcium(Ca), ferri(Fe), zincum(Zn),cuprum(Cu ) and magnesium(Mg) in the testis tissue were measured by atomic absorption speetrophotometry. Results After 30 days exposure, the difference of body weight between groups was statistically significant(F=3.884, P < 0.05). The body weight in low- and medium-dose groups[(235.00 :t: 14.56), (235.44 ± 24.99)g] were significant increased than high-dose group[(206.00 ± 18.16)g, all P < 0.05]. There was no significant difference of body weight between the groups at 0, 60 and 90 days(F = 0.501, 0.578, 1.893, all P > 0.05). The difference of Ca, Zn and Mg levels among four groups was statistically significant(F = 6.630, 6.844, 5.333, all P < 0.05). The content of Ca of the low-dose group[(56.15 + 4.21 )mg/kg] decreased than that of the control group[(77.57 ± 6.66)mg/kg, P < 0.05];the content of Zn of the low-, medium- and high-dose groups[(4.80 ± 0.55), (4.56 ± 0.33),(5.46 ± 0.79 )mg/kg] deceased than that of the control group [(7.16 ± 0.28 )mg/kg, all P < 0.05];the content of Mg of the high-dose group [(32.44 ± 1.53 ) mg/kg] decreased than that of the control group [(42.54 ± 8.07 ) mg/kg,all P < 0.05]. The difference of testis Fe and Cu between four groups was not statistically significant(F = 1.324,0.207, all P > 0.05). Conclusion Chronic fluorosis can affect the levels of metal elements in rat testis and damage the reproductive system.
