Objective To observe the changing levels of serum sFas before and after intravenous i mmunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment of incomplete Kawasaki disease (IKD),to explore the roles of sFas in the pathogenesis of IKD and IVIG treatment mechanism.Methods Thirty eight cases of IKD children were selected as experimental group and 20 examples of the same age of children as the control group.The IKD children were treated by IVIG in combination with aspirin (ASP) ; and blood test was performed before treatment,3 days after treatment,and 14 days after treatment,respectively.Dual-resistant sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of serum sFas,plasma Fibrinogen (PT-D),d-dimer (D-D),and c-reactive protein (CRP).Results The levels of serum sFas,PT-D,D-D,and CRP were significantly higher than the control group for IKD children before treatment[(0.55 ± 0.14)ng/L vs (0.24 ±0.04) ng/L,(552.3 ± 147.2) mg/dl vs (277.3 ±82.5)mg/dl,(649.0 ±201.6) μg/L vs (315.4 ±91.8)μg/L,and(72.2 ±28.7)mg/L vs (7.2 ±2.9)mg/L; t' =12.41,9.11,8.64,13.82;All P ＜ 0.05] ;3 days after treatment,compared with those before treatment and control group,the sFas level of IKD children at the third day after treatment was significantly decreased compared to that before treatment and control groups,respectively [(0.43 ± 0.09) ng/L vs (0.55 ± 0.14) ng/L,(0.24 ± 0.04) ng/L,F =47.624,All P ＜0.05] ;For the level of sFas at the 14th day after treatment,no statistical significance was found between IKD children and the control group[(0.24 ±0.05) ng/L vs (0.24 ±0.04) ng/L,t =0.596,P ＞ 0.05].Conclusions The abnormally increased serum sFas level before IVIG treatment suggests that dysfunction of apoptosis be involved in the pathogenesis of the IKD.Intravenous immunoglobulin treatment may be involved in the apoptosis process.

Objective To investigate the correlation between immature granulocyte and CD34+ cells, mononuclear cells (MNC) in donor's peripheral blood by recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (rhG-CSF). Methods The stem cell were mobilized by rhG-CSF 7.25-10 μg·kg-1·d-1 from 122 allo-PBSCT donors. Before and after mobilization, to test CD34+ cells of peripheral blood stem cell graft and number of MNC, immature granulocyte, CD34+ cell per patient' weight were calculated. Results White blood cell count and immature granulocyte gradually increased, and reached the peak on the frith day. There was a good relationship between increased immature granulocytes and increased CD34+ cells. The patients all achieved completed donor engraftment and achieved hematopoietic recovery. The chromosome, blood type and HLA type were transformed to be donor's type. Ph1 changed to be negative in CML patients. Conclusion rhG-CSF (7.25～10 μg·kg-1·d-1) had a good effect to mobilize PBSC. There was a good relationship between in-creased immature granulocytes and increased CD34+ cells after mobilization by rhG-CSF. The number of immature granulocytes can reflect indirectly the count of stem/progenitor, so the MNC and immature granulo-cytes can become a threshold of dosage standard.

Objective To investigate the association of human leukocytes antigen(HLA)-DR/DQ with oral lichen planus(OLP) in the area of Yangtze River Delta. Methods HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 genotyping of 44 unrelated OLP patients and 150 normal controls were performed by polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP) method.The data were compared between the OLP group and normal controls,and between different types of OLP patients. Objective To observe the influence of weight - lost therapy on obese children with impaired glucose tolerance( IGT), insulin resistance. Methods Fasting,post- prandail 2 hours blood glucose and insulin were measured in 14 obese children (age 8 - 15 years) with IGT before and after two - month weight - lost iherapy. Glucose were measured with enzymeoxidize assay, and insulin were measured with radio-immunity assay(RIA). Results Among 14 obese children with IGT, after two-month weight - lost the-rapy, there were 9 children becoming normal OGTT. Objective To further investigate the threshold value and the dose-effect relationship of infrasound on the rat pallium, and to observe the effects on the pallium's ultrastructure. Methods Rats were exposed to 16 Hz, 90 dB infrasound for 2 hours daily. With a transmission electron microscope, changes in the ultrastructure of the cortex of the rats' parietal lobes were observed 2 hours, 3 days and 7 days after the treatment. Results There were no changes in the ultrastructure of the pallium in rats which had been exposed for 7 days or 14 days. Denaturation appeared when the rats had been exposed for 21 days, 28 days or 35 days. Denaturation become more serious as the exposure time increased beyond 21 days. Denaturation and damage gradually returned to normal with time after exposure. Conclusion 16 Hz, 90 dB infrasound exposure over an extended time may cause denaturation and other changes in the ultrastructure of the pallium in rats. Such changes can return to normal with time.

Objectives To explore the change of interleukin-17 (IL-17) in Kawasaki disease (KD). Methods Fourty KD pediatric patients, among them 12 patients with echocardiographic abnormalities in acute phase, 25 age-matched non-KD patients were enrolled. The level of serum IL-17 was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in acute and convalescent phase of KD patients and non-KD patients. At the same time, C-reactive protein (CRP), globulin, albumin were detected. Results In acute phase of KD patients, the level of serum IL-17 were signiifcantly higher than that in convalescent phase of KD patients and non-KD patients (P<0.05). The level of serum IL-17 was no signiifcant differences in convalescent phase of KD patients and non-KD patients (P>0.05). In acute phase of KD patients with echocardiography abnormalities, the level of serum IL-17 was signiifcantly higher than that with non-echocardiography abnormalities (P<0.05). The level of serum IL-17 in acute phase of KD patients were positively correlated with CRP and globulin (r=0.750, 0.750, P<0.05), and negatively correlated with albumin (r=-0.779, P<0.05). Conclusions IL-17 may be involved in KD immune pathogenesis. Serum IL-17 is one of the activity index of KD, which associ-ated with cardiovascular damages.

In this paper we will discuss the architecture and functions of the VR vehicle for rehabilitation. There is no such report about this kind of VR vehicle for rehabilitation in open literature. Patients can select exercise modes for rehabilitation according to their individual health conditions. Patients can get rehabilitation faster and less painfully with the aid of this VR vehicle with which psychological treatment can be better introduced during the rehabilitation.

Objective To evaluate the effects of laparoscopic radical resection of mid-low rectal cancer on sexual and urinary functions of male patients. Methods The clinical data of 150 patients with mid-low rectal cancer who were admitted to the PLA General Hospital from May 2006 to March 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. Sixty-eight patients were allocated to laparoscopic group and 82 to open group. The incidences of erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction and the short- and long-term urinary dysfunction of patients in the 2 groups were compared seperately at 6 and 12 months after the operation. All data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Results The incidences of erectile and ejaculation dysfunction at 6 months after operation, incidence of ejaculation dysfunction at 12 months after operation, and long-term urinary dysfunction were 15% (10/68), 16% (11/68), 10% (7/68) and 0 in the laparoscopic group, and 22% (18/82), 23% (19/82), 21% (17/82) and 2% (2/82) in the open group, respectively, no significant difference between the two groups was found (x2 = 1. 285, 1. 137, 3. 013, 1.681, P>0. 05). The incidences of erectile dysfunction at 12 months after operation and short-term urinary dysfunction were 7% (5/68) and 4% (3/68) in the laparoscopic group, and 17% (14/82) and 20% (16/82) in the open group, respectively, a significant difference between the two groups was observed (x = 4. 565, 5.930, P <0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic radical resection of mid-low rectal cancer can reduce the injury of pelvic autonomic nerve and improve the life quality of patients.
