0.05). Conclusion:There is bigger difference process of tumor apoptosis between different cell types in the same topography site. Survivin may play adjuvant roles and Bcl-2 may play main roles in the inhibition of cell apoptosis in SCLC while the case is just reversed in NSCLC,it suggests that there were different apoptosis inducing factor and different apoptosis pathway due to different cell type in NSCLC and SCLC.

Objective To study the value of insulin like growth factor binding protein-1 of cervicovaginal secretion in the delayed pregnancy termination. Methds Phosphorylated isoforms of IGFBP-1 in cervicovaginal secretion of 202 delayed pregnant women were measured by immmmunochromatography. Results In the IGFBP-1 positive group. The rate of successful pregnant termination in three days was 91 2%, while in IGFBP-1 negative group, the rate of that was 41 8%..There was statistically significant diference in the rate of successful pregnant termination between the two groups(P

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multislice CT(MSCT)in multilocular cystic real cell carcinoma(MCRCC).Methods Imaging features of 22 patients with MCRCC proved by histopathologic examinations, these patients were underwent non-enhanced and dual-phase contrast-enhanced CT scans and evaluated CT signs. Results 22 tumors all appeared as well defined multilocular cystic mass. The cystic wall presented with irregular thicking in 14 cases and regular thicking in 8 cases. The tumors with thin coarse septum in 6 cases(the transverse diameter ≤2 mm),irregular thicking septum in 11cases(2mm <the transverse diameter ≤ 5 mm)and septum with nodule in 5 cases(the transverse diameter ≤ 5 mm).Cystic wall and septum enhancement were detected with dual-phase contrast-enhanced CT.Cystic ares and hemorrhagic areas and calcification were no enhanced.Calcification of cystic wall were found in 2 cases and cyst in 3 cases. Conclusion MSCT imaging appearances have typical features. It has great important value in the preoperative diagnosis of MCRCC with non-enhanced and dual-phase contrast-enhanced CT scans.

The concept of humanistic education is based on the concern of human beings and their abilities of development. Thus,it is an educational concept to optimize the teaching modules. It stresses the point that education must regard the develop- ment of human beings as the main line and human beings should be emphasized in education from the very beginning to the end. Case-Teaching Method which takes the students as the main part fully manifests the concept of humanistic education,in which all teaching activities and the processes closely revolve the students in order to train them to carry on their studies and to solve the problems independently.

Objective To study the effect of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF)on angiogenesis of rat with acute myocardial injury induced by isoproterenol(Iso). Methods A total of 60 adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control group, GM-CSF pretreatment group (GM-CSF group), and lso injury group, 20 rats in each group. GM-CSF group was administered recombinant human(rh)GM-CSF(5.0 μg/kg), through tail intravenous injection once a day for three days. Then the GM-CSF group and the Iso injury group were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of lso( 15.0 mg/kg) once a day for three days. The same dose of saline was administered in the same way to the control rats. Ten days after injection, pathological changes of myocardial damage and infarct area were examined by immunohistochemistry. The mRNA expression levels of polypeptide antigen (CD34), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptor KDR/flk- 1 were measured by RT-PCR. Results The difference of myocardial necrosis area between groups was statistically significant(F=10.07, P < 0.01), in which GM-CSF group[(37.37 ± 12.98)%] was significantly less than Iso injury group[(45.51 ±14.96)%, P < 0.05]. The difference of myocardial neovascularization density index of rats between groups was statistically significant ( F = 25.54, P < 0.05 ), in which GM-CSF group [(3980.05 ± 477.22) No/mm2] was significantly higher than Iso injury group((2605.93±361.49)No/mm2,P<0.01).The differences of myocardial CD34,VEGF,KDR/flk-1 mRNA expression between groups were statistically significant(F=17.83,4.29,4.10,all P<0.01).Compared to Iso mjury group[CD34(23.85±6.06),VEGF(31.80±8.05),KDR/flk-1(30.16±8.01)]were higher in the GM-CSF group[CD34(44.04±10.13),VEGF(49A±11.59),and KDR/flk-1(46A9±7.90),all P<0.01].The expressions of myocardiM VEGF mRNA and its receptor KDR/flk-1 mRNA was positively correlated(r=0.725,R2=0.526,P<0.01).Conclusions GM-CSF prelreatmcnt increases the density ofnew blood vessels in myocardium, and reduces the Iso-induced myocardial injury in rats.

Objective:To investigate into the effects of the BSNXD-treated pharmacological serum on the proliferating cycle and apoptosis of osteoblasts(OBs).Methods: The OBs were isolated by the enzyme-digested assay from calvaria of neonatal BALB/c mice and then cultured. The OBs were treated in vitro with the pharmacological serum in a series of concentration. The apoptosis rate and DNA content of OBs were analyzed by flow cytometry(FCM),and their ultrastructure was evaluated by TEM.Results: The pharmacological serum in 10-20% concentration increased the S-phase and G_(2)/M phase of OB cell cycle, improved the proliferation index(PI,P

OBJECTIVETo study the role of PI3K/Akt pathway in the neuroprotective effect of paeoniflorin on PC12 cells.
METHODThe paeoniflorin group (5, 10, 20 μmol · L(-1)) was pretreated for 30 min, and then added with Aβ25-35 (20 μmol · L(-1)) for interaction for 24 h. Inhibitor LY294002 (10 μmol · L(-1)) was pretreated for 30 min before the action of paeoniflorin (10 μmol · L(-1)). The MTT colorimetric method was used to detect the cell viability. The apoptosis rate was tested by the FITC-Annexin V/PI staining. The protein expression of p-AKT, Bax, Bcl-2 and cleaved caspase-3 protein were detected by Western blot analysis.
RESULTPaeoniflorin could significantly inhibit the Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cell toxicity and apoptosis. Its protection effect may be achieved by up- regulating AKT phosphorylation level, increasing Bcl-2 protein expression, reducing Bax protein expression, inhibiting the activation of caspase-3. Inhibitor LY294002 could weaken the above protective effects of paeoniflorin.
CONCLUSIONPaeoniflorin could activate PI3K/Akt signaling pathway to protect the PC12 cell injury induced by Aβ25-35.
