Objective To test and compare the color and translucency between the mono-component light-cure adhesive resin and try-in paste with same number for porcelain veneer restorations, and evaluate the consistency of the materials. Methods Variolink Veneer and Relyx Veneer were involved in the study. The adhesive resins and try-in pastes were added into a model of diameter of 10 mm and thick of 2 mm with white background and covered with filtered cover glass, and then the resins was cured with light. The color ( L* , a* , b* ) of these samples was test and △E was also calculated to evaluate the color consistency of samples. The resins and try-in pastes were made into a thin layer of 0. 15 mm, and their translucency was tested under the light from 380 μm to 780 μm. Average translucency was calculated. Tukey t-test for multiple comparisons was used to analysis the differences of △E. Paired t-test was used to analysis the differences of translucency of them. Results Tukey's t-test shows that the evaluation of AE of TR ( 1.11 ±0. 18) was a; those of LV-1 (6. 38 ±0. 45), LV-2(5.94 ±0. 19), A1 (7. 54 ±0. 20), WO(4. 24 ± 1.14)were b; those of HV +2(10. 90 ±0. 41), HV +1(11.48 ±0. 17), LV-3( 10. 69 ±0. 13), B0. 5( 13.26 ±0. 21 ) were c; and those of HV +3(21.94 ±0. 21 ), MV0(29. 78 ±0. 14), A3(32. 67 ±0. 19) were d(a,b, c, d meaned that the consistency of resin and try-in paste became lower and lower). There were significant differences between resin and tray-in paste in 7 colors(A1, TR, HV +3, HV +2, HV +1, LV-2, LV-3) of 12 colors(P < 0. 01 ). Conclusions The consistency of color and translucency between most adhesive resin and try-in paste with same number is low. This kind of materials should be used with caution in demanding cases.

Acta Academiae Medicinae Sinicae 2008;30(3):257-260
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the application value of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) for home nutrition support in patients with stroke and post-traumatic brain.
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of the 16 patients with stroke and post-traumatic brain, including cerebral infarction (n = 9), cerebral hemorrhage ( n = 5), subarachnoid hemorrhage (n = 1), and cerebral trauma (n = 1). All these patients underwent PEG in our hospital because they were not able to be orally fed.
RESULTSThe weight, triceps skinfold thickness, mid-upper arm muscle circumference, and serum albumin, hemoglobin, and lympholeukocyte cell counts 30, 60, and 120 days after hospital discharge were significantly higher than those at hospital discharge (P <0.05 or P <0.01). The NIHSS scores 30, 60, and 120 days after hospital discharge were 14.0 +/- 1.3, 14.0 +/- 1.1, and 3.0 +/- 1.2, respectively, which were significantly lower than 16.0 +/- 1.2 at hospital discharge (all P <0.05). Complications included gastric contents retention (n = 1), backstreaming (n = 1), aspirated pneumonia (n = 1), and intra-cushion syndrome (n = 1).
CONCLUSIONSPEG for home nutrition support is useful for the treatment of patients with stroke and post-traumatic brain with dysphagia and malnutrition after long-term coma. It can help to avoid the deterioration of nutritional status and improve the quality of life.

Objective To evaluate the value of endobronchial ultrasound elastography in diagnosis of mediastinal lymph nodes by measuring the parameters of endobronchial ultrasound elastography. Methods Between 2016 and 2017, 46 patients with 63 lesions underwent EBUS-TBNA examination were included. Conventional ultrasound and ultrasound elastography were performed respectively to examine 63 lymph nodes before aspiration. Then various features of conventional ultrasound and parameters of ultrasound elastography were analyzed and recorded. Then evaluate the value of ultrasound elastography by pathological results and three-month follow-up data. Result The diagnostic value of ultrasound elastography image type, elasticity score, strain ratio and blue area ratio for malignant lymph nodes were higher than that of conventional ultrasound features in accuracy, sensitivity and specificity (P < 0.05); The accuracy of the boundary was the highest in the diagnosis of malignant lymph nodes. In the ultrasound elastography parameters, the accuracy of the elasticity score was the highest, and the blue area ratio had the largest area under the curve. When the boundary was used as the joint index to judge malignant lymph nodes with elasticity score and area ratio respectively, significantly higher than the diagnostic accuracy of conventional ultrasound and ultrasound elastography alone (P < 0.05). Conclusion The value of ultrasound elastography parameter in mediastinal lymph nodes diagnosis is higher than the conventional ultrasound features and a combination of both applications can improve discrimination accuracy of benign and malignant lymph nodes.

Objective To obtain the elasticity value of solid breast lesions with supersonic shear wave elastrography (SWE) and apply the binary Logistic regression in order to evaluate the value of SWE in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions. Methods SWE quantitative elastography was preformed in 91 breast lesions of 91 patients in Zhenghai Longsai Hospital to obtain the maximum and mean elasticity value (Emax, Emean). And receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were used to assess the diagnostic performance. A Logistic regression for the gray scale ultrasound and the elastic modulus was conducted with multiple variables including Emax, Emean, border, echo, form, calcification. Results Pathological examination showed 73 benign lesions and 18 malignant lesions. Emax and Emean of malignant lesions were obviously higher than those of benign lesions [(99.73±41.15) kPa vs (38.59±14.28) kPa, (61.45±24.88) kPa vs (23.46±11.44) kPa, t=-15.05,-14.12, both P=0.000]. The area under the ROC curve of Emax and Emean were 0.932 and 0.915. Taking 63.70 kPa as the threshold of Emax, the sensitivity was 77.8%and the speciifcity was 97.3%. Then taking 44.22 kPa as the threshold of Emean, the sensitivity was 83.3%and the speciifcity was 94.5%. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed:the 3 most effective variables were Emax, border of the lesions and Emean. Conclusions The multivariate analysis model of binary Logistic regression can select the valuable indexes of differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions. SWE plays an important role in differentiating benign and malignant lesions and it is valuable in clinical practice.

1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-D-glucose (PGG) is one of the main active compounds of Guizhi Fuling capsule. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) have high affinity toward template molecules synthesized by molecularly imprinted technology for its specific combined sites, which can overcome the shortcoming of traditional separation methods, such as complex operation, low efficiency, using large quantity of solvent and environmental pollution. In this paper, surface molecularly imprinted polymer (SMIP) was prepared by surface imprinting with PGG as the template molecule. Its adsorption capacity was measured by the scatchard equation. The separation of PGG from Guizhi Fuling capsule at preparatived scale was achieved with molecularly imprinted polymer as stationary phase and the purity was 90.2% by HPLC. This method can be used to prepare PGG from Guizhi Fuling capsule with large capacity and is easy to operate. It provides a new method for efficient separation and purification for other natural products.

Chinese Journal of Pathology 2009;38(6):397-401
OBJECTIVETo investigate PTEN expression and mutation status in the development of cervical adenocarcinoma.
METHODSImmunohistochemistry study of PTEN protein was performed on 42 cases of cervical adenocarcinoma, 20 cases of cervical glandular intraepithelial neoplasia and 28 cases of normal cervix tissue samples. Polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) was used to detect the presence of mutation of exons 5 and 8 of PTEN gene.
RESULTSPositive expression rates of PTEN protein were 54.8% (23/42), 25.0% (5/20) and 100% (28/28) in cervical adenocarcinoma, cervical glandular intraepithelial neoplasia and normal cervix tissues, respectively. There were significant differences among the 3 groups (P < 0.05). Positive expression rates of PTEN protein were 47.4% (9/19), 20.0% (2/10) and 92.3% (12/13) in mucinous, endometrioid and the other variants of cervical adenocarcinoma, respectively. Mutation rates at exon 5 and exon 8 of PTEN gene were 19.0% (8/42), 45.0% (9/20) and 0 in cervical adenocarcinoma, cervical glandular intraepithelial neoplasia and normal cervix tissue, respectively. There were significant differences among 3 groups (chi(2) = 4.29, chi(2) = 12.70; P < 0.05). The mutation rates were 21.1% (4/19) and 40.0% (4/10) in mucinous and endometrioid variants of cervical adenocarcinoma, respectively. There was no mutation at exons 5 and 8 of PTEN gene detected in other variants of cervical adenocarcinoma.
CONCLUSIONThe development of cervical adenocarcionomas is correlated with the mutation and absence of the protein expression of PTEN, likely in the early phase of their carcinogenesis.

OBJECTIVETo establish a mouse model of asthmatic airway remodeling and investigate the effects of 1,25-(OH)2D3 on airway structure and T cell immunoglobulin mucin protein-4 (TIM-4) expression in asthmatic mice.
METHODSThirty female mice (BALB/c strain) were randomly divided into control, asthma and 1,25-(OH)2D3 intervention groups. An asthmatic mouse model was induced using ovalbumin. Lung tissue of the mice was collected, mRNA expression of TIM-4 was evaluated by RT-PCR and airway remodeling and protein expression of TIM-4 were observed by hematoxylineosin staining and immunohistochemistry.
RESULTSTypical airway remodeling was found in the asthma group, and TIM-4 expression in this group was significantly higher than in the control group (105±9 vs 42±5; P<0.05). Compared with the asthma group, the 1,25-(OH)2D3 intervention group showed improvement in airway remodeling and a decrease in TIM-4 expression (78±6) (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSTIM-4 may be involved in the airway remodeling of mice. As a new type of immunoregulator, 1,25-(OH)2D3 can downregulate expression of TIM-4 in the lungs and improve airway remodeling in asthmatic mice.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of Compound Qingqin Liquid (CQL) on the expression level of angiotensin II (Ang II) and COX-2 mRNA transcription and protein expression in the renal tissue of rats with uric acid nephropathy.
METHODSSD rats were randomly divided into the blank control group, the model group, the positive drug group, the high, moderate, and low dose CQL group according to number randomization principle. The model was established by gastrogavage of adenine, accompanied with yeast feeding. Distilled water was given by gastrogavage to rats in the blank control group and the model group. Allopurinol at the daily dose of 9.33 mg/kg was given by gastrogavage to rats of the positive control group. CQL at the daily dose of 3.77 g/kg, 1.89 g/kg, and 0.09 g/kg was respectively given by gastrogavage to rats in the high, moderate, and low dose CQL groups. All treatment lasted for 6 weeks. Rats were randomly divided at week 4 (3 in the blank control group, and 6 in the rest groups), and the rest rats were killed at week 6. The renal tissue was extracted. The expression level of Ang II and COX-2 mRNA transcription were detected by RT-PCR. The expression level of Ang II was detected by ELISA. The expression level of COX-2 protein was detected by Western blot and immunohistochemical assay.
RESULTSCompared with the blank control group, except the mRNA expression of Ang II at week 4, the mRNA and protein expression of Ang II and COX-2 obviously increased at week 4 and 6 in the model group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). The COX-2 protein expression at week 4 was obviously lower in the high and moderate dose CQL groups than in the model group and the low dose CQL group (P < 0.05); the average integral of optical density value was obviously lower in the positive control group than in the model group. Except the mRNA expression of Ang II in the high dose CQL group at week 6, the mRNA and protein expression of Ang II obviously decreased in the positive control group and each dose CQL group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Of them, the effects were better in the high and moderate dose CQL groups than in the positive control group and the low dose CQL group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Besides, the mRNA expression of COX-2, the average integral of optical density value were obviously lower in the positive control group and each dose CQL group than in the model group (P < 0.05). The protein expression of COX-2 was obviously lower in the high and moderate dose CQL groups than in the model group (P < 0.05). Of them, the mRNA expression of COX-2 was better in the moderate dose CQL group than in the positive control group (P < 0.05); the protein expression of COX-2 was better in the high dose CQL group than in the low dose CQL group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONCQL was capable of lowering the expression level of Ang II, COX-2 mRNA transcription and protein expression, thus suppressing the inflammatory pathological injury of the renal tissue.
