Objective To elucidate the relationship between Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinaseⅡ(CaMKⅡ)and autophagy during the development of cardiac hypertrophy. Methods Rat embryonic cardiac cell line H9c2 cells was treated by angiotensin Ⅱ to establish cardiomyocyte hypertrophy model in vitro and using antagonists and gene function gain and loss to analyze AMPK-LC3Ⅱ autophagy signaling pathway. Results The phosphorylation of CaMKⅡ and autophagy related signaling-AMPK and autophagy marker LC3Ⅱ were rapidly increased by angiotensinⅡtreatment at early stage. However ,the above changes were highly blocked by CaMKⅡinhibitor and HDAC4 inhibition. Conclusion CaMKⅡ is the center factor of regulating cardiac hypertrophy ,it mediates autophagy through directly regulating AMPK or indirectly regulating HDAC4 during the development of cardiac hypertrophy.

Objective To evaluate the effects of hemodialysis in aged patients with chronic renal failure,decrease complications,to improve their survival rate.Methods The clinical datas of aged patients suffering from CRF who received maintenance hemodialysis were summarized and analyzed about the survival,the cause of death and common complications.Results The commonest causes of death in aged patients with maintenance hemodialysis were cardiovascular events,infection and malnutrition.The common complications were cardiac insufficiency,infection.Conclusion Providing individual enough HD and treatment,improving nutritional situation,anemia and controlling infection may contribute to the reduction of the complications and the increasing of survival rate.

The main obstacles and limitations on development of advanced life-rescuing information technology are identified based on analysis of existing information technology.The research ideas on digital information to replace analog information and response technology in lieu of new type life-rescuing information technology are putted forward,which combines RFID technology with biomedical engineering technology to research and design the life transponder that application bottleneck and advantage of the technique are analyzed.

Objective To explore the risk factors of prehypertension and the relationship between blood pressure and atherosclerosis.Methods The data of 456 cases in the Department of General Medicine were cross-sectional analyzed,including 174 subjects with normotension and 282 with prehypertension.The information was consisted of demographic characteristics,blood pressure,blood biochemical metabolism index,brachia-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV),ankle-brachial index (ABI) and carotid intima media thickness (CIMT).Results Compared to normotension group,the levels of systolic pressure,diastolic pressure,pulse pressure,body mass index,fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglyceride,uric acid,and C-reactive protein in prehypertension group were significantly increased (P ＜ 0.05) ; and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol was significantly decreased (P ＜0.05) ; the body mass index(OR =1.185),triglyceride(OR =1.302),and fasting blood sugar (OR =1.690) were the independent risk factors of prehypertension ; baPWV and CIMT in prehypertension group were higher,but ABI and artery atheromatous plaque rate were not obvious changed.When baPWV or CIMT were set as the dependent variables,multiple linear regression analysis showed that systolic blood pressure(β =0.226,P =0.007),fasting blood glucose(β =0.209,P =0.018),and age(β =0.279,P =0.002) were risk factors of baPWV;systolic blood pressure(β =0.118,P =0.015),body mass index(β =0.109,P =0.001),and age(β =0.396,P =0.001) were risk factors of CIMT.Conclusions Body mass index,triglycerides,and fasting blood sugar were the independent risk factors of prehypertension.The early subclinical damage of hardening of the arteries was occurred in the prehypertension cases,and systolic blood pressure was closely related with baPWV or CIMT.

Objective To screen and identify the recombinants from the cDNA library of the adult Paragonimus west-ermani (PwA) for immunodiagnosis and immunoprophylaxis. Methods PwA cDNA library was screened with the PwA antigen immunized rabbit sera(IRS) pre-absorbed by the extract of E. coli XLl-Blue. The recombinants from positive clones were amplified by PCR, sequenced and cut off by KpnI/BarnHI and, then sub-cloned into pRESETB vector. The fusion protein was expressed,analysed by SDS-PAGE and identified by Western blotting with immune rabbit serum against worm antigen of Paragonimus westerrnani. Results The inserted cDNA fragment from the positive clone Pw-2 was about 800 bp, which contained an open reading frame(ORF) encoding Pw pre-procathepsin L belonging to cysteinase family. Expression product of Pw-2 was a fusion protein of 32 kDa, which can be recognized by immune rabbit serum against worm antigen of Paragonimus 晈esterrnani. Conclusion A recombinant plasmid Pw-2 encodes Pw pre-procathepsin L is constructed.

OBJECTIVETo compare the efficacy differences on delayed encephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP) between acupuncture to restore consciousness combined with hyperbaric oxygen treatment and simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment.

METHODSForty-one patients with DEACMP were randomly divided into an observation group (21 cases) and a control group (20 cases). In the observation group, acupuncture was applied at Neiguan (PC 6), Shuigou (GV 26), Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Fengchi (GB 20), Hegu (LI 4), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Taichong (LR 3), and hyperbaric oxygen treatment was given as well. In the control group, simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment was used. The treatment was adopted once every day, and continuous 5 days' treatment made one session in the two groups. There were two days at the interval between two sessions and 6 sessions in the two groups. The changes of scores of mini mental state examination (MMSE) and Barthel index (BI) for activity of daily life and routine electroencephalogram (EEG) before and after treatment were compared.

RESULTSAfter treatment, the scores of MMSE and BI and EEG were all improved compared with those before treatment (all P<0.01). The raise of the scores of MMSE and BI in the observation group was more obvious than that in the control group (both P<0.05) and the improvement of EEG abnormal condition in the observation group was also superior to that in the control group after treatment (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONAcupuncture to restore consciousness combined with hyperbaric oxygen could obviously improve the cognitive function, activity of daily life and changes of EEG, and it is better than simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of biofeedback for anxiety patients by carrying out a Meta-analysis.Methods We searched CNKI,VIP,CBM(1989 to 2013) to identify relevant randomized-control trials applying biofeedback for anxiety patients.We used Review Management (RevMan) 5.0 software (provided by the Cochrane collaboration) to conduct Meta-analysis.Results We included 11 studies.Meta-analysis for the biofeedback group vs.the control group showed that biofeedback was significantly superior to control (SMD=-3.00,95％CI:-4.40～-1.61); Meta-analysis for the biofeedback plus drug group vs.drug group showed that biofeedback plus drug was significantly superior to drug (SMD=-1.33,95％CI:-1.82～-0.85).Conclusions We found evidence that biofeedback (applying alone or combined with drugs) is effective in improving anxiety symptom.But all the studies had methodological limitations,our conclusion needs further studies with strict design,high quality and consistent assessment tools to be expounded and proven.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality creteria of Dendrobium denneanum cultivated in Sichuan.METHODS: The reference substance had been isolated and identified.HPLC and TLC were applied for determination and identification respectively.RESULTS: The coumarin control had been successfully isolated and the TLC spots were clear.The linear range of coumarin was 0.096～0.480 ?g with an average recovery of 99.1%(RSD=1.44%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The results can overall reflect the internal quality of D.denneanum cultivated in Sichuan and provide basis for quality evaluation and development of D.denneanum from Sichuan.

OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constitutes of Ligusticum chuanxiong and to establish the method for the content determination of ligustilide. METHODS:The compounds were extracted and percolated by ethanol. Then the samples were separated using silica gel and identified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR data.HPLC was used to assay the contents of ligustilide. RESULTS:Three compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as Z-ligustilide,Z-6,8',7,3'-diligustilide and Z,Z'-6,6',7,3'a-diligustilide. The contents of ligustilide were no less than 0.70%.CONCLUSION:The separation method can be used to prepare high-purity ligustilide reference substance. And the determination method can be used for quality control of L. chuanxiong.

Objective: To observe the effect of supplementation with anthocyanins (ANTH)purified from outlayer of black rice (BRF) on atherosclerotic (AS) plaque formation and inflammatory signal-transduction. Methods: Forth five male ApoE-defieient mice of 4 w age, were randomly divided into 3 groups: positive control (Group A), BRF (Group B ), ANTH (Group C), 15 in each group. Another 15 male ApoE-deficient mice served as negative control (Group D ). Group A and D were fed AIN-93G purified diet, Group C and B fed the same diet with 5% BRF not containing ANTH and 0.39% ANTH (containing 42% total flavonoids) respectively. The animals were fed for 20w, then blood, hearts and aortas were examined to verify inflammatory signal transduction. Results: There were no visible AS plaques in group D but much more severe in group A and B than C respectively. Compared with group A, supplememation of ANTH of BRF significantly increased the activity of T-NOS and cNOS, decreased the activity of iNOS but not significantly. The level of protein expression of ICAM- 1, NF-?B gene and mRNA expression of COX-2 gene were significantly decreased in aorta. Conclusion: The action of anthocyanins of BRF could be attributed to its anti-inflammatory activity to reduce COX-2, INOS and ICAM-1 expression which might be modulated by NF-?B.
