International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(23):3178-3179
Objective To investigate the different gender and untreated hyperthyroidism parameter difference (hyperthyroidism) and hemoglobin of red blood cells in peripheral blood of patients with relatively healthy people. Methods Collecting blood samples of patients with hyperthyroidism, with EDTA-K2 anticoagulant, using Sysmex XE-2100 automated hematology analyzer analysis of peripheral blood hemoglobin in red blood cell parameters and using healthy people as healthy control. Results Healthy control group, male, female red blood cells and hemoglobin in patients with hyperthyroidism were increased, the difference was statistical-ly significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Newly diagnosed hyperthyroidism value and erythrocyte hemoglobin values higher than nor-mal.
4.Analysis on the contribution of HUA Tuo to acupuncture.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(12):1305-1307
The academic contribution of HUA Tuo to acupuncture, such as HUA Tuo Jiaji points, the drawing of viscera and channels, "diagnosis by observing the eyes", focusing on the clinical application of moxibustion, being the first to treat headache with Geshu (BL 17), selecting essential acupoints and paying attention to spirit management, etc. were summarized in this paper. It was believed that HUA Tuo made an outstanding contribution to acupuncture, which still had important guiding significance and academic value for clinical acupuncture and research work.

5.Analysis of WANG Ji's moxibustion therapy opinion.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(4):395-397
WANG Ji's opinion on moxibustion therapy in Questions and answers of acupuncture and moxibustion (Zhenjiu Wendui) was explored and analyzed. With his two contraindications of moxibustion as breakthrough points, the arrangement and discussion was performed. The results showed that based on summary of moxibustion treatment theory before Ming dynasty, WANG Ji could provide characteristic idea, which is of great reference value and guide significance to the inheritance and development of moxibustion.

6.Deep acupuncture at Baliao points (eight sacral foramina) by Professor WANG Ling-Ling and its clinical application.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(3):285-288
With deep acupuncture at Baliao points (eight sacral foramina) as the core, Professor WANG Ling-ling has treated diseases of urinary, digestive and reproductive systems with superior therapeutic effect. The key for efficacy of Baliao points is deep acupuncture. Only deeply insert into acupoints with long needles and directly stimulate at sacral nerves, could Baliao points play a superior role in treatment effect. Searching acupoints is the basis of deep acupuncture, and superficial anatomy should be combined to summarize the methods of searching Baliao points. The premise of deep acupuncture is needling manipulation. The angles of needles must be adjusted according to morphological features of posterior sacral foramina, or it is hard to practice deep acupuncture into Baliao points. The description of location and manipulation on Baliao points in ancient and modern literature was vague, which restricts clinical application of Baliao points. A lot of research on location, manipulation and clinical application of Baliao points has performed by Professor WANG Ling-ling, and its manipulation and clinical cases are introduced to make a positive effect on its application and popularization.

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2010;04(6):344-347
Objective To investigate current health status of medical professionals in Guangdong Province to provide evidence for individualized health management. Methods Based on multi-stage stratified sampling method,3872 medical professional from 56 hospitals in Guangdong Province were enrolled and completed a self-designed questionnaire. The results were collected and compared using descriptive analysis, K-S test, Chi-square test and multivariate Logistic regression. Results A total of 3687 (95.2%) feed-backs were collected,of which 3502 (95.0%) could be used. Insomnia was the most serious problem among nurses (68. 9% ). The incidence rate of sub-health condition was 58. 2%. First-line clinical work, female, long working experience, tertiary hospital, no physical activity and insomnia were correlated with more serious sub-clinical health. Conclusion Unhealthy life style and sub-heahh problems negatively impact health of medical professional. Therefore, supervisors should pay more attention to those with certain characteristics.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(2):163-167
OBJECTIVETo observe effects of mild moxibustion and lovastatin on immunologic function in rabbits with chronic hyperlipidaemia and atherosclerosis (AS) to initially explain regulating rules of mild moxibustion on immunologic function.
METHODSAmong thirty-two Japanese male big-ear rabbits, 8 rabbits were randomly selec ted as a blank group, the rest 24 rabbits were fed with method of endothelial injury and high-fat diet to establish AS model. The blank group was raised with normal diet and free water. After ten weeks of model establishment, the rest 24 rabbits were randomly divided into a model group, a moxibustion group and a medicine group, eight rabbits in each one. Moxibustion was applied at "Shenque" (CV 8) and "Zusanli" (ST 36) for 10 min per acupoint per day in the moxibustion group, while intragastric administration of 3.6 mg/kg lovastatin capsule was applied in the medicine group. After treatment, serum was acquired. Spectrophotometry method was adapted to measure cholesterol (TC) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) and evaluated atherosclerosis index (AI), while enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method was used to measure interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) and interleukin-4 (IL-4).
RESULTS(1) The serum TC and HDL-C in the model group were significantly higher than those in the blank group, moxibustion group and medicine group (all P < 0.01). The mean value of AI was 1.683 +/- 0.486 in the moxibustion group, which was obviously lower than 20.301 +/- 4.022 in the model group (P < 0.01). (2) The ratio of Th1/Th2 was 0.569 +/- 0.143 in the moxibustion group and 0.445 +/- 0.079 in the medicine group, which were significantly lower than 0.917 +/- 0.255 in the model group (both P < 0.01), but there was no statistically significant difference between the moxibustion group and the medicine group (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe moxibustion for AS could reduce atherosclerosis index, influence drift and bias of helper T cell and regulate balance between humoral immunity and cellular immunity. As a result, status of relative balance of immunity is acquired, which could slow down the development of atherosclerosis and process of thrombus burst.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(15):2377-2380
Objective To investigate the effect of emodin on immune suppression function of regulatory T cells in a mouse model of CT26 colon cancer. Methods Twenty-four mice were divided into the negative control group, the emodin group and the tumor group. The populations of CD8+CD3+T cells, the T cells producing IFN-γand the CD4+CD25+Tregs secreting IL-10 in different mouse tissues were detected by flow cytometry. Levels of IFN-γ, TNF- β1 and IL-10 in serum were determined by ELISA. Results Emodin could significantly increase the percent of CD8+CD3+T cells in tumor (P < 0.05) and improve the ability of IFN-γ secretion in T cells from peripheral blood and lymph nodes (P < 0.05). Emodin could reduce the levels of IFN-γ, TNF-β1 and IL-10 in the serum (P < 0.01) and inhibit IL-10 secretion in CD4+CD25+ Tregs (P < 0.01). Conclusion Emodin possesses the antitumor effect by affecting the immunosuppressive function of Tregs cells.
