Objective: To establish a quantitative method for determination of protocatechuic acid in Xueniao Capsules. Methods: The capsules were extracted with alcohol acetic acid (10∶1) and then solved with absolute alcohol. The sample was applied on a silica H plate, developed and separated in the solution of chloroform acetone methanol acetic acid (7∶2∶1.5∶0.5). The separated spots were determined by TLC scanning at 530nm(? s). Results: The average recovery was 101.4%. Conclusion: This method for determination of protocatechuic acid in Xueniao Capsules was sensitive, accurate and specific. It could be used as quality control for Xueniao Capsules.

The hypo-morality,also known as sub-morality,is an imperfect morality compared with the social mainstream morality.By introducing some "hypo-morality" phenomena in the current physician-patient relationship and analyzing from the two aspects including the diversity of interests main bodies and the market operational mode of healthcare institutions,this paper assures the rationality of the existence of hypo-morality in physician-patient relationship,and attempts to provide feasible suggestions for a reasonable direction of hypo-morality in physician-patient relationship.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy ofacupuncture plus Tuina therapy in treating supraspinatus tendinitis.Methods:One hundred patients with supraspinatus tendinitis were randomly allocated to two groups.The treatment group of 50 cases was treated with acupuncture plus Tuina therapy and the control group of 50 cases,with simple acupuncture.Treatment was given once daily,10 times as a course.The therapeutic effects were evaluated after two courses oftreatment.Results:The total efficacy rate was 96.0%in the treatment group and 74.0%in the control group.x2 test showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the total efficacy rate between the two groups(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture plus Tuina therapy is superior to simple acupuncture in treating supraspinatus tendinitis.

Intracanal antisepsis acts as one of the fundamental steps in root canal therapy. Intracanal medication is very common among the multitudinous root canal disinfection methods so far. However, as the most frequently-used intracanal medication, calcium hydroxide exists some problems, such as insufficient antimicrobial power and antibiogram. Thus exploring new root canal disinfectant is necessary. Herbal medicine is gaining favor for its wide varieties, broad efficacy and affordable prices. The current researches revealed that many kinds of herbs or compound herbal preparations possess good ability of antimicrobial and other properties that superior to those of traditional root canal disinfectants. However, herbal medicine itself and the studies have shortcomings. This paper will provide a review of various herbal alternatives that are being studied of late years.

Filled several gaps of the field, and explored some significant new paths of study, it laid the groundwork for the profound study and unscramble of traditional acupuncture theory as well as the investigation of the academic history, which is considered to have a profound and persistent influence. The careful sorting and profound digging of many distinguish thoughts and methods of Mr. MA Ji-xing in the study of acupuncture medical history has significant meaning in references and enlightenment of the future research on acupuncture medical history.

Objective To investigate the types of commonly used anti-hypertensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs and treatment schemes to provide a basis for rationally treating hypertension complicating type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods The medication situation in 191 patients with hypertension complicating T2DM in our hospital were analyzed and investigated.The use of anti-hypertensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs and treatment scheme were statistically analyzed.Results In 191 patients with hypertension complicating T2DM,the single drug use in the anti-hypertensive scheme accounted for 9.42 ％,two-drug combined use accounted for 64.91％,three-drug combined use for 17.8 ％ and four-drug combined use for 7.85 ％.The medication of ARB+CCB had the highest use frequency;the anti-hypertensive total effective rate was 96.86 ％.In the hypoglycemic schemes,the insulin use accounted for 30.37％,and the use frequency of metformin+ gliclazide was highest,the hypoglycemic total effective rate was 98.43％.Conclusion The medication for the patients suffering from hypertension complicating T2DM is relatively reasonable,and worth of being popularized and applied in clinical practice.

Objective:To study the scalp electroacupuncture combined with language training on the language function of post-stroke aphasia patients.Method:Ninety patients were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method.The patients in the experimental group were treated by language rehabilitation training combined with electroacupuncture,while the control group was treated only by verbal training.Schuell stimulation was performed by one to one training and different types of aphasia patients focued on the different types of training.A course of treatment consisted of 2 weeks training with 30mins for each time,5 times a week.For acupuncture treatment,scalp acupuncture points were employed with motor area for motor aphasia,sensory area for sensory aphasia and three language areas for complete language aphasia,also combined with Baihui,wind House,dumb gate and other points.All patients received a course of treatment.The language function was evaluated by using Chinese Aphasia Test and the scores of spontaneous speech,language comprehension,repetition and nomenclature were compared before and after treatment.The degree of aphasia was assessed by the Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination (BDAE).The total efficacy was compared by Boston Diagnostic Aphasia.Result:There were significant differences in spontaneous speech,verbal comprehension,repetition,nomenclature and aphasia scores in the experimental group before and after treatment(P=0.01,0.03,0.02,0.02,0.02,P＜0.05)There were significant differences(P=0.02,0.03,0.01,0.02,0.03,P＜0.05) in the spontaneous speech,verbal comprehension,repetition and nomenclature and aphasia scores in the control group before and after treatment.There were significant differences in spontaneous speech,verbal comprehension,repetition,nomenclature and aphasia scores between the two groups(P=0.03,0.03,0.03,0.02,0.03,P＜0.05).There was significant difference in the total curative effect between the two groups(P=0.03,P＜0.05).Conclusion:The scalp electroacupuncture combined with language training can significantly improve spontaneous speech,verbal comprehension,repetition and naming degree score and aphasia for post-stroke patients,and has better curative effect than pure language training.
