1.Biostimulation feedback treatment improves surface electromyography value of pelvic floor muscle during contraction in women with mild and moderate stress urinary incontinence
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(33):5346-5350
BACKGROUND:Biostimulation feedback treatment has been widely used for female stress urinary incontinence. The treatment principle is based on the electromyographic signal measured and the combination of biofeedback technique and electrotherapy technique.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of biofeedback electrical stimulation in treatment of female stress urinary incontinence.
METHODS:Thirty female patients suffering from light or moderate stress urinary incontinence received biofeedback electrical stimulation for 4-8 weeks. The stimulation parameters were 60 Hz, 20-60 mA, 12-second feedback. The patients were instructed to contract pelvic floor muscle. The peak value of surface electromyography in pelvic floor muscular 2-second-rapid-contraction, mean value of pelvic floor muscular 10-second-contraction, mean value of the pelvic floor muscular 60-second-tolerance-contraction, and the rate of urine leakage were observed before and after treatment.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The peak value of surface electromyography in pelvic floor muscular 2-second-rapid-contraction, mean value of pelvic floor muscular 10-second-contraction, and mean value of the pelvic floor muscular 60-second-tolerance-contraction were significantly increased after treatment, compared with before treatment (P<0.05). The rate of urine leakage was decreased obviously after treatment (P<0.05). Biofeedback electrical stimulation can significantly increase surface electromyography value of pelvic floor muscles during contraction, and is an effective treatment for female stress urinary incontinence.

3.One of academic thoughts of Professor LU Zhi-zheng in spleen and stomach——The pathogenic factor for internal damage of spleen and stomach in modern times
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(05):-
On inheriting the doctrines of Li Dong-yuan's'Internal damage of spleen and stomach causes diverse illnesses'and YE Gui's moistening stomach-yin etc.,Professor LU Zhi-zheng elaborates their academic thoughts further and proposes the core of spleen and stomach regulation in modern times——'cotrolling the center, operating four sides, keeping happy emotion, regulating ascending and descending, considering moistening and dryness, normalizing food and drink'.He does not only apply spleen and stomach to treat spleen and stomach illness but also treat vertigo, thoracic obstruction, cardialgia, apoplexy, liver and kidney diseases, rheumatosis and so on,which are all effective. However,as times, diets and living habits are changing,as well as social environment is different, the spleen and stomach diseases, which are caused by people's unhealthy diet, irregular work and rest, overworking and high spiritual pressure of work in this modern society with profound food and clothing and highly developed material civilization, has changed greatly from the spleen and stomach theory in Dongyuan times. In this case,Professor LU experiences that the reason for injured spleen and stomach in modern society has its unique pathogenic factor, thus sets up the etiology and pathogenesis for spleen and stomach of internal injury in the new times.

8.Update on the diagnosis and treatment of inherited epidermolysis bullosa
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2016;49(7):516-519
Inherited epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a group of hereditary skin diseases characterized by increases in skin brittleness and being prone to skin blisters or erosions when the skin is exposed to slight friction or injury. At present, it is classified into four types, namely EB simplex, junctional EB, dystrophic EB and Kindler syndrome. An onion skinning approach is recommended for the diagnosis of inherited epedermolysis bullosa, in which, immunofluorescence mapping is performed firstly, and causative genetic loci are then determined through detection of relevant genes. In its treatment, skin care should be intensified, and medical or surgical treatment may be used to alleviate symptoms. Further development of cell?, protein?and gene?based therapies is expected to bring hope to patients via realization of timely prenatal diagnosis and avoidance of adverse consequences.
9.Correlation between colorectal cancer and Helicobacter pylori infection
Chinese Journal of Digestion 2015;35(1):26-29
Objective To explore the correlation between Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection and colorectal cancer. Methods From January 2008 to January 2014,263 patients pathologically diagnosed as colorectal cancer were selected as colorectal cancer group, and at the same period 263 patients with normal colon mucosa under colonoscopy were set as control group. The rates of H.pylori infection, the rates of H.pylori infection in patients with different pathological types of colorectal cancer, the rates of H.pylori infection accompanied with atrophic gastritis and the rates of H.pylori infection accompanied with intestinal metaplasia of two groups were retrospectively analyzed. The difference of H.pylori infection between proximal colorectal cancer and distal colorectal cancer was compared.Chi-square test was performed for comparison and odds ratio (OR) value and 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated. Results Among 263 patients with colorectal cancer, the H.pylori infection rate of colorectal cancer group was 63.50% (167/263),which was higher than that of control group (39.54%,104/263),and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =27.66,OR=2.66,95% CI 1.85 to 3.83,P<0.01).There was no statistical difference in rates of H.pylori infection among different pathological types of colorectal cancer (x2=0.15,P=0.93).The rate of H.pylori infection accompanied with atrophic gastritis in patients with colorectal cancer was 46.39% (122/263) which was higher than that of control group (23.57%,62/263),and the difference was statistically significant (x2=28.53,OR=2.94,95%CI 1.98 to 4.36,P<0.01).The rates of H.pylori infection accompanied with intestinal metaplasia in patients with colorectal cancer was 17.87% (47/263) which was higher than that of control group (4.18%,11/263),and the difference was statistically significant (x2=23.56,OR=5.50,95%CI 2.76 to 10.95,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the rate of H.pylori infection between the proximal colorectal cancer and the distal colorectal cancer (x2 =1.48,P =0.22).Conclusion H.pylori infection, together with atrophic gastritis and intestinal metaplasia caused by it are correlated with colorectal cancer.
10.Immunoglobulins in autoimmune bullous diseases
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2016;49(1):62-64
As one of active immune effector molecules, immunoglobulins play an important role in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune bullous diseases.Human immunoglobulins can be divided into 5 categories, including IgG,IgA,IgM,IgD and IgE,and all of them participate in and play different roles in the pathogenesis of autoimmune bullous diseases except IgD.IgG can induce the formation of blisters by activating complements and leukocytes as well as by releasing proteolytic enzymes, and different subtypes of IgG differ in biological activities.IgA can cause granulocyte migration and lead to the formation of blisters and pustules.IgE is associated with urticaria-like erythema and eosinophil infiltration.IgM is usually seen in Brazilian pemphigus foliaceus. These findings may provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune bullous diseases.
