Objective To investigate the effect of ketamine on the delayed rectifier outward potassium currents (IK) using whole-cell patch clamp technique. Methods Pyramidal neurons were enzymatically isolated from Wistar rat hippocampus. The effect of ketamine on the IK was assessed using whole-cell patch clamp technique. We measured the amplitude of the delayed outward rectifier IK by activating depolarizing pulse from -50 mV to 40 mV. Different concentrations of ketamine were added and potassium currents were measured. Results IK was inhibited by ketamine in a concentration-dependent manner. The five concentrations of ketamine (10, 30, 100, 300, 1000 ?mol/L) reduced peak IK currents by (10 ? 4)% , (19?4)%, (31 ?5)%, (50?7)%, (54?8) % respectively, with a mean IC50 of (100?18)?mol/L and Hill coefficient of 1.33?0.48. Objective To investigate the levels of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum and the role of food allergens in allergic skin diseases and provide scientific basis for clinical treatment and prophylaxis. Methods We used ELISA method to detect the concentration of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in the serum of 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients and 18 healthy people. Results The food allergen of positive rate in studied group and control group was 90.2% and 11.1%. The positive rate of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients' serum from high to low was eggs, wheat, shrimp, milk, soja,crab, rice, corn, tomato, chicken, mushroom, beef, pork and ling. The food allergen positive rate in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum was 91.9% and 88. 9% ( P >0. 05). The positive rate of shrimp,mushroom and ling in eczema patients'serum was higher than that in chronic urticaria patients'serum ( P <0. 05 ). The positive rate in children's group was 96. 6%, which was higher than other age groups ( P >0. 05 ). The main allergens were egg, wheat and milk in children's group. The sensitization of crab and shrimp increased as people grew up. In 812 positive patients, who were intolerant of three and more than three foods accounted for 53.7%. In 175 follow-up patients, the effective rate was 50.9% in 20 days and 61.1% in 60 days after they avoided the intolerant food. The patients'diet was adjusted according to the test results.In 325 follow-up patients, the effective rate in eczema group was 59.9% in 20 days and 70. 4% in 60 days ( P <0. 05). Thee effective rate in chronic urticaria group was 65.6% in 20 days and 77. 3% in 60 days ( P <0.05 ). Conclusion The intolerant food can be found by detecting serum food allergen specific IgG.It can be used to adjust the diet and relieve the symptom, which is of great importance for preventing and treating allergic skin diseases.

Objective To investigate the value of MR intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM)imaging and dynamic susceptibility contrast-enhanced(DSC)perfusion imaging in astrocytoma grading.Methods 22 patients with high grade astrocytoma and 28 patients with low grade astrocytoma underwent conventional MRI and IVIM,DSC scanning before operation.Parameters of IVIM included standard diffusion coefficient(ADCstandard ),slow diffusion coefficient(D),fast diffusion coefficient(D? ),fractional perfusion-related volume (f)values,and parameters of DSC included relative blood volume(rCBV),relative blood flow(rCBF)values of tumor solid part were measured quantitatively.The values between the two groups were compared by two samples t-test.By using ROC curve to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of using IVIM and DSC alone or jointly.Results The ADCstandard ,D,rCBV,rCBF values of tumor solid part had significant differences between the groups(P<0.01).The D? and f values were no significant differences (P=0.130,P=0.379).The area under the ROC curve of the values showed that ADCstandard (0.823),D(0.854),rCBV(0.858),rCBF(0.871),D+rCBV(0.952),D+rCBF(0.953).Conclusion The D,rCBV,rCBF values are helpful to determine the grade of astrocytomas.The use of IVIM in combination with DSC may improve the diagnostic accuracy of astrocytoma grading.

Objective To evaluate the effect of the setup error on the dosimetric verification for the nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and cervical carcinoma patients treated with volumetric modulated are therapy (VMAT).Methods VMAT plans for 10 cervical cancer patients and 10 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients were transplanted into the Delta4 phantom and calculate the dose,next,implement the treatment on the Varian iX linear accelerator.on the Varian iX linear accelerator.To simulate the setup error by moving the treatment couch in,out,up,down,left,right by 3 mm,5 mm,7 mm.Thereby study the effect of the setup error on the pass rate of the dose verification.Results The results for the dose distribution using the gamma evaluation method showed that the pass rate (3％/3 mm) was less than 90％ when the setup error were greater than 3 mm and 5 mm for the nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and the cervical carcinoma patients.The pass rate of head direction were (64.7 ± 8.2) ％ and (63.3 ± 3.6) ％ on setup error of 5 mm and 7 mm for nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and cervical carcinoma patients,respectively.Conclusions Setup error has great effect on the dose verification of the VMAT plans,the greater of the setup error,the lower of the pass rate.The setup error of head direction is more sensitive than other directions especially.

Objective The study aimed to investigate the influence of head nurse's transformational leadership style on emotional labor and psychological empowerment of nurses.Methods Totally 851 staff nurses from four 3A hospitals were investigated with the Transformational Leadership Style Sub Scale of Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire,Psychological Empowerment Scale and Emotional Labor Scale.Results The head nurse's transformational leadership style scored (2.41±0.81).The psychological empowerment of nurses scored (3.27±0.47),its autonomy dimension scored (3.81±0.50),staying at medium level.The emotional labor of nurses scored (3.68±0.61),its deep acting dimension scored (4.67±0.76),which was above medium level.The indirect correlation coefficient between head nurse's transformational leadership style and emotional labor (r=-0.13) was far higher than direct correlation coefficient (r=-0.04).The psychological empowerment was the full mediation variable by which head nurse's transformational leadership style influence emotional labor of nurses.Conclusions Head nurse's transformational leadership style can enhance nurse's selfefficacy,cognition of work significance and work autonomy,so that nurse's deep acting and positive perception of emotional display can be increased,and nurse's emotional exhaustion and job burnout can be decreased to retain nurses.

Objective To summarize the correlation between cytotoxic T lymphocyte associated antigen-4 (CTLA-4) promoter-49 A/G polymorphism and Graves' disease (GD)in China.Methods The publications before Sep.30,2011 about the correlation between CTLA-4 promoter-49 A/G polymorphism and GD in China were collected by searching CNKI,CBM,and Wanfang database.Meta-analysis was performed to check the difference of genotypes such as AG,GG,GG + AG,and G allele between GD group and the control group.Results A total of 6 studies involving 570 cases in GD group and 486 cases in the control group were included in the meta-analysis.According to the heterogeneity of these studies,meta-analysis was performed to analyze the correlation between AG,GG,GG + AG genotype,G allele and GD by fixed effects model.The pooled OR value(95％ CI) of various studies was 1.97 (1.37-2.82),3.66 (2.42-5.53),2.55 (1.82-3.58),and 1.99 (1.49-2.65).Conclusion The meta-analysis demonstrates that CTLA-4 promoter-49 A/G polymorphism increases the possibility of getting GD in Chinese.

Objective To investigate the epidemiologic features of infant rotavirus(RV) diarrhea in Guilin area .Methods The detection of group A rotavirus were performed on 1 300 patients from Guilin 181st hospital by using immune colloidal gold method , and the epidemiological analysis were done according to the detection results .Results In the 1 300 patients ,132 were found rotavir‐us positive ,the total positive rate was 10 .15% .The positive rate of >1-2 years old group was the highest(23 .08% ) ,compared with other age groups(P<0 .05) .In November ,December and January ,the positive rates were 24 .14% ,20 .00% ,23 .53% ,respec‐tively .Compared with the positive rate in other months ,there was statistically significant difference(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Infants of 6 months to less than 2 years old in Guilin have higher detection rate of RV infection ,and the infection peak appears in autumn and w inter .

Objective Boy sexual development is affected not only by age, but also by environment factors .The present study was to survey and evaluate the status of sexual development in boys from Zhengzhou area and to explore their influencing factors. Methods The height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, penis and testicles in 3779 boys aged from 6 to 13 years old in Zhengzhou were measured .The penis length and testicular volume of different ages and their influencing factors were compared, and the beginning age and sexual development characteristics were explored .The development of genitalia and pubes were evaluated by Tanner staging criteria and standards, which were divided into five stages. Results There were 3779 boys, including 395 overweight cases (10.45%) and 208 obesity cases (5.50%).The testicular volume and penis length increased by age, which increased slowly at the age of 6 to 11, followed by a rapid increase after the age of 11 year old.Testicular volume increased more rapidly than that of penis length. The medians quartile of testicular volume in overweight group ,obese group and normal group were 2.50 mL, 2.50 mL, 2.00 mL, 2.00 mL,2.00 mL,1.00 mL respectively .The testicular volume in overweight group and obese group were significantly greater than that in nor -mal group (P<0.01) and there were no difference between overweight group and obese group .The penis length in overweight group and obese group were significantly less than that in normal group (P<0.01), and there was no difference between overweight group and obese group.Testicular volume and penis length were positively correlated with age, height, weight, body mass index, waist circumference and hip circumference; the correlation between testicular volume and height, penis length and age were the strongest. The age of development of testicle (average 12.02 years) in urban area was later by 2.73 years than that in the rural area (average 9.9 years), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001).The age of pubic development (P2) and maturity (P5) was (12.34 ±0.83) years and (12.39 ±1.24 ) years.The incidence of precocity in boys was 0.40%. Conclusion The sexual development of boys from Zheng-zhou area is similar to the results of large scale survey from China .Attention should be paid to the effect of obesity on sexual develop-ment, and early intervention should be given, the occurrence of adverse events of sexual development can be avoided .

Objective To investigate the correlation of anthropometric indicators and blood pressure in children. Methods A total of 6 790 children aged 6 to 13 years were inspected by random sampling. The body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), hip circumference (HC), and blood pressure were measured. The waist/hip ratio (WHR) and waist/height ratio (WHtR) were calculated. The data wrer analyzed by SPSS16.0 statistical software. Results The detection rate of hypertension in children was 5.57%. After controlling for age, both in male and female children, the BMI, WC, HC, WHR, WHtR and systolic blood pressure showed a significant positive correlation by partial correlation analysis (all P<0.05). Both in male and female children, the BMI, WC, HC, WHR, and WHtR were significantly higher in children with hypertension than those in children with normal blood pressure (all P<0.05). Among all subjects, 280 children (4.12%) were obese, 622 children (9.16%) were overweight. The detection rates of hy-pertension were significantly different among obese, overweight and normal weight children (P<0.01). The detection rate of hypertension was significantly higher in obese children than that in overweight and normal weight children. The systolic and diastolic blood pressure were all significantly higher in obese and overweight children than that in normal weight children (P<0.05). Conclusion The hypertension prevalence of children aged 6 to 13 years in Zhengzhou is in the low to median level in the same age groups. The BMI, WC, HC, WHR, WHtR are signiifcantly correlated with blood pressure in both gender, and the correlation is the most obvious in HC.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of simple polyhydramnios . Methods 186 singleton pregnancies cases of inpatient and outpatient diagnosed with simple polyhydramnios were divided into three groups with a two-dimensional semi-quantitative method ,separate amniotic fluid index (AFI)> 20cm (A group) ,separate maxi-mum amnionic fluid volume(AFV)>8 cm(B group) ,AFI≥20 cm and AFV≥8 cm(C group) ,and the changes were dynamically monitored .Results Occurrence rates of persistent polyhydramnios and fetal malformations in C group was higher than in the other two groups ,and the difference showed no statistical significance(P<0 .05);No correlation was found between recurrent polyhydr-amnios and fetal malformation among these three groups(P>0 .05);Among the 84 .4% of simple polyhydramnios ,no fetal malfor-mation was found .Conclusion Ultrasound diagnosis of simple polyhydramnios shows clinical value in assessment of fetal malfor-mation ,fetal outcome ,perinatal morbidity and prognosis ,and is good for prenatal counseling and treatment .
