Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2021;37(6):406-410
Objective:To explore the effect of Brain HQ visual training on memory function in lymphoma patients with chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment. Methods:From January to December 2019, 39 hospitalized patients in lymphoma department were selected as the research object, and divided into intervention group (19 cases) and control group (20 cases) by the order of admission. The control group was given routine nursing, and the intervention group was given Brain HQ visual training. The two groups of patients used the auditory learning test to evaluate the memory function effect at the time of enrollment, after 2 cycles and 4 cycles. Results:After 2 cycles intervention, there were no statistically significant indicators for immediate recall, short-term delayed recall, long-term delayed recall, re-recognition, and correct recall ( t values were 0.575-1.248, P> 0.05); After 4 cycles of chemotherapy, the three indicators of long-term delayed recall, recognition and correct recall of the intervention group were (6.00±1.59), (9.05±1.81), (36.00±4.27) points, while (4.75±1.55), (8.05±1.73), (32.85±3.59) points of the control group, there was a statistically significant difference in ( t values were 3.384, 2.373, 3.010, P < 0.05); repeated measures analysis of variance showed The total indicators of immediate recall, short-term delayed recall, long-term delayed recall, recognition and correct recall were not statistically significant in both groups ( F values were 0.329-1.462, P>0.05). Conclusion:The effect of Brain HQ visual training on memory function are not clear, but with the change of intervention time, memory indicators are constantly improving, Brain HQ visual training has certain practicability.

Objective:To study the influence of harvest time on the characters of Chaenomeles Spciosa ( Sweet) Nakai to determine the optimal harvest time with traditional characters of the Chinese medicine. Methods: In order to explore the optimal harvest time of Chaenomeles Spciosa ( Sweet) Nakai, the content of alcohol-soluble extract, weight and acidity of Chaenomeles Spciosa ( Sweet) Nakai with different harvest time were determined, the weather conditions in recent 3 years was summarized, and the drying process was also studied. Results:The average weight of Chaenomeles Spciosa(Sweet)Nakai was the lowest in June and highest in August, and the den-sity reached maximum in mid-July. During the whole harvest time, the content of alcohol-soluble extract was stable. The weather con-ditions from mid-July to late-July were with high temperature, dry and little rain, which was suitable for drying of Chaenomeles Spciosa ( Sweet) Nakai. Conclusion:The optimal harvest time of Chaenomeles Spciosa( Sweet) Nakai is confirmed in mid-July according to the traditional customs, drying conditions and characters of the Chinese medicine.

Methods One42-year-old male patient with spinal cord injury practiced wheelchair Taijiquan, 90 min everytime, 3 times a week for 10 weeks. SCL-90was used to assess the relevant indicators before and 10 weeks after the experiment. Results 10 weeks after Wheelchair Taijiquan exercises, the patient improved in sleep quality, appetite and physical health, and the symptoms as antagonism, paranoid, psychosis and obsessive-compulsivedisorder as well as intervening with interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety and fear. Conclusion Wheelchair Taijiquan mayfacilliate to improve the mental health of patient with spinal cord injury.

Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(5):814-816
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of negative pressure wound therapy and to discuss the ethi-cal issues in this therapy and seek a solution. Methods:Sixty patients with negative pressure wound therapy in our hospital were invited to participate in this study. Patients were all with deep pressure ulcers or diabetic foot, of which the Wagner Scores were graded as three or four. They were divided into two groups randomly. The subjects in control group received standard treatment, while those in experimental group were treated by self -designed closed negative pressure drainage settings. The wound healing time, the cost of the treatment and comfort were compared between the two groups. Results:The cost of wound care in the experimental group was less than those in the control group (P<0. 001). There was no significant difference in comfort between two groups (P>0. 05). But the wound healing time was longer in the experimental group than those in the control group. Conclusion:Self-designed closed negative pressure settings can decrease the cost of patient care with the equal patient comfort and acceptance as the standard negative pressure, however, the wound healing time has been extended. So before using negative pressure technique, the medical staff should comprehensively analyze, be guided by medical ethics and choose the appropriate treatment for different patients.

Abstract BACKGROUND: Large amounts of data have shown that Chinese herbal monomer has a neuroprotective effect, and can improve the quality of life in stroke patients with cerebral nervous system injury. Nuclear-factor-erythroid 2-related (Nrf2) factor has neuroprotective effect on hemorrhagic stroke and ischemic stroke, which is an important way to reverse the damage of nervous system through the natural non-toxic Chinese herbs or composition, but it is rarely reported systemicaly. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the neuroprotective effect of Chinese herbal monomersvia the Nrf2 signal pathway in stroke patients. METHODS:The first author retrieved the CNKI, VIP, Medline, and PubMed databases by computer. The keywords were “Nrf2, ARE, stroke, traditional Chinese medicine, neuroprotection” in Chinese and English, respectively. Articles concerning the neuroprotective role of Chinese herbal monomervia Nrf2 were analyzed and discussed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totaly 85 articles were retrieved. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 46 articles were included in result analysis. The results show that a variety of monomers can exert neuroprotective effectsvia the Nrf2 pathway. Chinese herbal monomers include organic acids, phenols, saponins, terpenes, flavonoids, alkaloids, and other single or composite components. Traditional Chinese medicine has the clear neuroprotective effect after stroke, but it is lack of regularity, and it is stil need to expand the data and further research as the basis.
