Objective To observe the effects of herbal compound in reinforcing the kidney for activating blood and arousing consciousness(HCRAA) on the ABR threshold and the expression of neurotrophic factor 3(NT-3) of the cochlea of gentamicin (GM)-induced ototoxic mice.Methods 40 mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,and high,middle and low concentration HCRAA groups.Normal group received no treatment.The model group and the HCRAA groups were intraperitoneally injected with GM 100mg/kg per day for consecutive 15 days.At the same time,the model group and the HCRAA groups respectively receiveded normal saline and high,middle and low concentration Chinese medical formula decoction at the same dosage by garage for consecutive 20 days.After the experiment,the mice were tested ABR.The expression of NT-3 of the cochlea in mice was detected by western blot.Results HCRAA at high and middle concentration reduced the GM elevated ABR threshold(P＜0.01),and increased the expression of NT-3 in the cochlea(P＜0.01).Conclusion HCRAA may effectively reduce the elevated ABR threshold induced by gentamycin by protecting GM damaged cochlear hair cell and neurons and increasing the expression of NT-3 in the cochlea.

Objective To analyze the correlation of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) with waist,hip circumference and body mass index in order to explore the prevention countermeasures.Methods The datum of routine physical examination and questionnaire survey among 2 503 employees of 12 enterprises in November 2013 were collected.The indexes of height,weight,waist circumference,hip circumference,blood pressure,blood lipid and blood glucose of the subjects were measured.The grouping was according to whether the subjects suffering from NAFLID.The correlation and epidemiological characteristics between each group and the risk factors of body weight,waist,hip circumference and body mass index were analyzed.Results 2 503 subjects were collected including 490 NAFLID patients (19.57％).The body weight and body mass index of NAFLID patients were significantly lower than those of the control group.The result of BMI classification showed that the subjects of the control group were overweight while the subjects with NAFLID were obesity.The waist circumference and hip circumference of NAFLID patients were significantly larger than that of the control group.Conclusions Larger waist and hip circumference and overweight are risk factors of NAFLID.Effective intervention measures,scientific control of body weight,rational diet,the strengthening of physical exercises should be taken in order to prevent and control the development of fatty liver.

Methods Transcranial color duplex sonography was performed on 30 healthy controls and 30 VBI patients confirmed clinically to examine the flow velocities and wave form parameters of the main supra and infra tentorial basal cerebral arteries. The anterior, middle, and posterior cerebral arteries on either side of the cranium and the vertebrobasilar system were observed using a 2.0 MHz transducer of a computed sonographic system. Objective Using STI and WMSI to evaluate the change of the heart sarcomere local systolic function which suffered from coronary heart disease (CHD), to evaluate the improvement of ischemic heart sarcomere local systolic function after PCI. Methods There are 40 CHD patients after PCI called the treatment group and 40 healthy persons called the control group. Echocardiogram was used to evaluate the change of ventricular wall motion score in the treatment group which was before and 1 week after PCI , compared with the control group. STI is used to get the SLs, GSL and SrLe of the left ventricle six walls in basal segment,middle segmentand apical segment systole. Results The ventricular wall motion index of the left ventricular myocardium obviously rose in CHD patients which was after PCI, compared with the control group (P < 0.05). And it obviously reduced in CHD patients after PCI, compared with CHD patients before PCI(P < 0.05). The results of SLs,GSL and SrLe are reduced in myocardial ischemia segment of CHD patients before PCI,compared with the control group (P < 0.05). But they are significantly improved in the the treatment group 1 week after PCI, compared to which is before PCI(P < 0.05). Conclusion STI and WMS can be used to evaluate the abnormal of regional and global function of myocardium which is caused to coronary artery stenosis the effect of PCI. The left ventricular motion function of CHD is decreased, but the left ventricle regional systolic function of hypokinetic segments in patients with CHD after PCI is significantly increased.

Objective To evaluate the quality of life and influencing factors in patients with breast cancer after breast-conserving surgery, so as to provide theoretical support for preoperative health education and postoperative rehabilitative intervention for these patients. Methods 120 breast conserving surgery (BSC) and 140 modified radical mastectomy (MRM) patients were assessed with Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast (FACT-B V4.0) one week after operation. Life quality was evaluated between the two groups, and the influencing factors were also analyzed. Results Postoperative breast cancer patients after breast conserving surgery were with good breast complementary attention, lower emotion state. The other scores of quality of life had no statistical difference. Influencing factors on the quality of life of breast cancer patients were anxiety state, relationship of family members, position of surgery and character type. Conclusions It suggests that nursing specialists should make out corresponding, scientific and reasonable nursing intervention schemes based on the characteristics of different groups of people to ease psychological burden, and elevate the quality of life effectively for postoperative breast conserving surgery patients.

Objective: To identify Persicae Semen and its sibling species, and to secure the quality and clinical safety of this medicinal material. Methods: The internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) of nuclear ribosomal DNA of Persicae Semen and its sibling species were amplified and bidirectionally sequenced by DNA barcoding. Sequence assembly and consensus sequence generation were performed by the CodonCode Aligner 4.1. The genetic distances were computed by MEGA 5.0 in accordance with the Kimura 2-parameter (K2P) model, and the phylogenetic tree constructed by the neighbor-joining (NJ) method. Results: The length of ITS2 sequences of the two origin plants of Persicae Semen was between 212 bp to 213 bp. Their intraspecific genetic distance was much lower than the interspecific genetic distance with their sibling species. The ITS2 sequence possessed the character of good stability and low intra-specific sequence variation. In the NJ tree, both Prunus persica and P. davidiana were clustered into one large branch, and clearly separated with their sibling species. Conclusion: ITS2 can be used to effectively distinguish Persicae Semen from its sibling species, which can provide a reference for the iden-tification of other Chinese medicine and its sibling species.

Objective To investigate the change of oxidation system and antioxidation system in mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MsPGN) induced by anti-Thy1.1 antibody,and further to study the intervention of rosmarinic acid(RAD).Methods Anti-THy1.1 serum was produced,and then intravenously injected into rats for establishing an experimental model of MsPGN.The experiment was designed for control with or without RAD,glomerulonephritis with or without RAD,respectively.The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in tissue homogenate were detected by spectrophotomerty.Results The activity of SOD significantly decreased,while the content of MDA increased in MsPGN.RAD could inhibit oxidation in the mesangial cells.Conclusion Lipid peroxidation participates in MsPGN and RAD can control the changes of the mesangial cells and show the activity of antioxidation.

Objective To explore the reliability of relevant electrocardiogram(ECG) indexes in evaluating isoprenaline(ISO)-induced rat acute ischemic myocardial injury and provide reference for future scientific applications of these models. Methods Seventy male Wistar rats were randomly equally assigned to ten groups according to their body weight: 5,10,20,40,80,160,320,640, 1280 and 2560 μg/kg dose groups. All rats were tail intravenously given corresponding doses of saline diluted isoprenaline according to their body weight. Standard limb Ⅰ , Ⅱ, Ⅲ-lead ECG of all rats were recorded before, immediately after and 1,24,and 72 hour after injection, respectively.Changes of heart rate, T-wave amplitude of Ⅱ -lead and Q-T interval were measured. Results Significant differences were found in heart rates, T-wave amplitudes and Q-T intervals at different time points(F = 15.03,11.28,13.64, all P ＜ 0.01 ), while differences among the ten ISO-dose groups were statistically insignificant (F= 1.45, 1.17,1.09, all P ＞ 0.05). No interaction between observation time and ISO dose was observed on heart rates, T-wave amplitudes and Q-T intervals(F= 0.79,0.82,0.59, all P ＞ 0.05). Immediately after injection of ISO, the heart rates were significantly increased compared with that of pre-injection in all groups(all P ＜ 0.05), of which 320 and 640μg/kg dose groups increased most significantly [(550 ± 47), (521 ± 43)times/min]. T-waves decreased significantly compared with that of pre-injection (all P ＜ 0.01 ), and 20 μg/kg dose and above groups decreased particularly evident, and partly inverted. Q-T intervals of rats in each group were significantly shorter than that of pre-injection(all P ＜ 0.01 ), and 320, 640, 1280 μg/kg groups shortened more pronounced[(0.070 ± 0.006),(0.072 ± 0.005), (0.068 ± 0.005)ms]. One hour after injection, the heart rate of rats in each group decreased,except 320 and 640 μg/kg dose groups[(518 ± 43), (487 ± 36)times/min], which were still higher than that of pre-treatment[(450 ± 40), (448 ± 51 )times/min, all P ＜ 0.05], the rest groups no longer had significant differences (all P ＞ 0.05). ECG T-wave in each group was significantly recovered compared with that of instantly medication (all P＜0.05), and 40 μg/kg dose and above groups recovered more than a big margin, but there were still differences compared with that of pre-treatment (P ＜0.05), while T-waves of 40 μg/kg dose and below groups had returned to the level of pre-treatment. Q-T interval in each group had varying degrees of recovery, except 1280 and 2560 μg/kg dose groups[(0.080 ± 0.004), (0.076 ± 0.011 )ms]which were still less than that of pre-treatment[(0.086 ± 0.007),(0.085 ± 0.006)ms, all P ＜ 0.05], other groups had no significant difference compared with that of pre-treatment (all P ＞ 0.05). Twenty-four hours after injection of ISO, the heart rates of 1280 and 2560 μg/kg dose groups [(389 ± 31 ), (398 ± 23)times/min]decreased significantly compared with that of pre-treatment[(427 ± 43), (438 ±26)times/min, all P ＜ 0.05], while other groups had returned to the level of pre-treatment. Seventy-two hours after injection of ISO, the heart rates, T-wave amplitudes and Q-T intervals of all doses groups had returned to the level of pre-treatment (all P ＞ 0.05). Conclusions There has no significant ST segment in the electrocardiogram of rat.Isoprenaline has an exact effect on shortening Q-T interval. T-wave amplitude and Q-T interval can be used as reliable indexes of ECG for assessment of this animal model.

Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics of liver cirrhosis complicated with chylous ascites.Methods From July,2007 to November,2012,patients diagnosed as liver cirrhosis complicated with chylous ascites were retrospectively analyzed.Analyze the etiology,liver function,ascites,imaging examination,treatment options and progonsis of these patients.Differences in measurement data were compared with U test.Results A total of 34 cases were enrolled,male 27 cases and female seven cases,average age (51.7±12.5) years old.Hepatitis B (20/34,58.8％) was the most common etiology of liver cirrhosis.Child-Pugh grading was grade B (26 cases) and C (eight cases).The appearance of aseites of 17 cases was chylous and the serm-ascites albumin gradient (SAAG) was 18.8 (2.6 to 32.5) g/L.The SAAG of 27 cases (84.4％) was no less than 11.0 g/L.The ascites triglyceride (TG) level was 2.94 (0.26 to 16.75) mmol/L,the TG of 27 cases (84.4％) was no less than 1.25 mmol/L.The level of TG (2.66(0.26 to 16.75) mmol/L) of patients with SAAG over 11.0 g/L was significantly lower than that of SAAG lower than 11 g/L (7.07(2.26 to 15.67) mmol/L,U=24.00,P=0.02).The lymphatic scintigraphy indicated that imaging agent leaked into peritoneal cavity in 29 cases (85.3 ％).Direct lymphangiography revealed lymphatic vessel structure abnormality in 15 cases (60 ％).Twelve patients received conservative treatment and four patients were effective,13 patients accepted peritoneal-venous shunting and 12 patients were effective,11 patients with microsurgical treatrnent and seven patients were effective.Conclusions Lymphatic struture is a possible cause of cirrhosis patients with chylous ascites.The characteristics of chylous ascites in cirrhosis patients are still the same as the characteristics of portal hypertension ascites.The SAAG remarkably increases,and the the level of SAAG probably depends on TG level.Lymphoscintigraphy has great value on the determination of the presence of ascites.And the direct lymphangiography could help to reveal lymphatic vessel structure abnormality.
