1.The imminent risk of osteoporotic fracture in Chinese elderly population
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2021;37(5):436-440
With the aging of the population, the incidence of osteoporotic fractures is increasing year by year, which leads to a heavy burden to society and families. Preventing osteoporotic fractures and re-fractures are critical issues and current challenges in our country. At present, most patients with high risk of osteoporotic fractures are identified in hospitals after fractures. Due to lack of proper understanding of osteoporotic fractures and a comprehensive management system, clinicians only focus on to the treatment of the fracture itself, and pay less attention to the prevention of long-term fractures. Epidemiological data show that in patients with high risk of osteoporotic fracture or those having first fractures, the risk of reoccurring fractures within 2 years is significantly increased, and the risk of death also continues to increase. This is defined as imminent fracture risk, and it is one of the pressing areas that we can and should start to take action in clinic. Taking into considecation of national conditions, this article analyzes current gaps in the risk management of osteoporotic fractures and proposes strategies from aspects of high-risk population identification, treatment, and multidisciplinary cooperation.
2.Studies of LAIT and morphology of immune organs in vasectomized rabbits
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
23 rabbits were bilaterally vasectomized and investigated for 12 months with 17 normal male rabbits as control. It was found that (1) positive results of leucocyte adhesion inhibition test occured in 43.5% of the vasectomized rabbits and a significant difference of positive rate was found between 10 and 12 monthes after vasectomy, (2) pathomorphological findings in the immune organs of the vasectomized rabbits showed that the lymph tissues proliferated. The pathomorphological findings were found to be in line with the result of leucocyte adhesion inhibition test.

5.Rehabilitation of Unilateral Spatial Neglect(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(6):541-544
Unilateral spatial neglect is recognized as a significant disabling deficit, clinically defined as a failure to report, respond or orient to novel stimuli presented on the side opposite to a brain lesion. It is a predictor of poor functional outcome following right hemisphere lesion. Many different rehabilitation techniques or treatments have been put forward to alleviate, reduce or remediate spatial neglect. In the following review, we described, explained these Methods in terms of their underlying or motivatng mechanisms and evaluated in terms of the current evidence base for their effectiveness for clinical rehabilitation.
6.Study on the relationship of insulin resistance and early renal injury with genetic factor in the healthy offspring with a family history of essential hypertension
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2015;34(6):638-640
Objective To investigate the insulin resistance and microalbuminuria in the healthy offspring with a family history of essential hypertension,in order to explore the relationship between the genetic factor and early renal injury. Methods 69 healthy offsprings with the family history of essential hypertension were randomly recruited as the observation group,35 healthy offsprings without the family history of essential hypertension were considered as the control group. The consecutive 12-hour urine was collected to detect the urinary albumin, and blood biochemical examination was conducted. Results Plasma levels of triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),glucose, fasting insulin, and urinary albumin excretion rate were higher in observation group than in the control group [(1.07±0.65) mmol/L vs.(0.79±0.52) mmol/L,(4.83±0.78) mmol/L vs.(4.48±0.63) mmol/L,(5.27±0.73) mmol/L vs.(4.94±0.85) mmol/L,(10.63±3.21) mIU/L vs.(7.72±3.35) mIU/L,(45.6±29.5) μg/min vs.(18.6±11.7) μg/min,t=2.259、2.348、2.093、4.381、5.337,all P<0.05].Conclusions Insulin resistance and microalbuminuria occur before hypertension in healthy offsprings with the family history of essential hypertension, and the patients are prone to getting early renal damage, which indicates that heredity is a risk factor for chronic kidney disease.
7.Observations on the Efficacy of Transcutaneous Electrical Acupoint Stimulation plus Acupoint Pressing in Treating Headaches After Paranasal Sinus Surgery
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(8):765-766
ObjectiveTo investigate theefficacy of transcutaneous acupoint electrical nerve stimulation plus acupoint pressing in treatingheadachesafter ethmoidectomyforchronic nasosinusitis.MethodOne hundred patients withchronic nasosinusitiswho hadundergoneethmoidectomyunder general anesthesia were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 50 cases each. The control group received routine treatment (auricular plastertherapy,anti-inflammatoryandhemostatic therapy, andoxygen uptake) and the treatment group, transcutaneous acupoint electrical nerve stimulation plus acupoint pressing in addition.Postoperative headache severities were comparedbetweenthe two groups at 6, 12 and 24 hrs after thebeginningof treatment.ResultHeadaches were relieved more significantly in the treatment group than in thecontrol groupat 6, 12 and 24 hrs, especially at 24 hrs. ConclusionsTranscutaneous acupoint electrical nerve stimulation plus acupointpressing has a marked therapeutic effect on headachesafter paranasal sinus surgeryand cansignificantlyimprove postoperative quality of life in the patients. This treatment is non-invasive and more easily accepted by the patients and canimprovethe operatingefficiency and feasibility.
