Objective To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Osteoporosis Knowledge Assessment Tool (OKAT).Methods The English version of OKAT was introduced and the Chinese version was confirmed by translation, revision, retroversion and expert discussion.A sample of 400 community-living aged people were recruited to complete the OKAT (Chinese version).Internal consistency test,split-half reliability, correlation analysis, items analysis, content validity, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and ROC curve were used for examination. Results The Cronbach's α of the total scale was 0.821.The split half reliability coefficient was 0.934,test-retest reliability was 0.866,inter rater reliability coefficient was 0.786,the correlations between items and total scale ranged from 0.163 to 0.542.A two-factor model containing 20 items was got by exploratory factor analysis, the cumulative contribution rate of the items was 75.528 percent. The confirmatory factor analysis revealed a good model fit. Conclusions The Chinese version of the OKAT in the elderly is proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used to assess osteoporosis for the aged people in China.

Objective To present the development of the Naming test tool ( Huashan Naming Test, HNT)for Chinese cultural and by amnestic mild cognitive impairment ( aMCI ) and mild Alzheimer' s disease (AD) between the detection of memory decline, and to analyze the validity of its trial. Methods 100 normal elders from communities in Shanghai, 100 patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI), and 95 patients with mild Alzheimer's disease (AD) who received an education of junior high school or above and were evaluated by neuropsychological tests including mini mental state examination ( MMSE), auditory verbal memory test, Huashan Naming tests etc.8 cognitive tests. The groups of MCI and AD patients finished cranial MRI.100 items with HNT including 20 animals,10 vegetables,10 fruits ,20 tools ,20 household , 10 vehicles, 10 stationery. Results 1.HNT items to determine: 22 items were excluded due to the completion of the three groups were not significantly different; 8 items were excluded due to the completion of the normal elderly group was lower than 75%; 10 items were excluded from the analysis of variance Fvalue of the minimum value. The remaining 60 items, according to the size of the arrangement and completion rates were divided into two versions of odd and even, respectively HNT-Ⅰ and HNT-Ⅱ.2.HNT characteristics:in normal elderly group age, sex were found to had no significant factors affecting overall scores of HNT-Ⅰ and HNT-Ⅱ but level of education, MMSE score was significantly correlated (P <0.05).As cut-off score ≤ 26 for spontaneous naming of HNT,the sensitivities of HNT-Ⅰ for aMCI ,mild AD were 44%, 84% respectively, specificities were all around 84%; the sensitivities of HNT-Ⅱ for aMCI , mild AD were 56% ,83% respectively, specificities were all around 80%.Conclusion HNT is a Chinese cultural background,time-consuming short and good name validity test, and it is worth further promoting the application.

Objective To explore the methods and mesures for the pre-analytical quality control of test specimen and to improve the accuracy and reliability of test results. Methods According to the relevant requirements of IS015189,various measures for the specimen circulation process and collection technology two aspects were taken to control the full links of clinical specimen collection and transport, and the incidence of unqualified specimen before and after the improvements were analyzed. Results After the imple-mentation of the improvement measures, the incidence of unqualified specimens was decreased significantly. Conclusion Implemen-tation of the whole aspect of pre-analytical quality control can effectively improve the quality of specimen in order to improve the test quality.

Objective To investigate the influence of a multifaceted stroke telehome-care (THC) on extremities function, activities of daily living (ADL) and quality of life in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 52 stroke survivors in department of neurology were randomized to the THC intervention or usual care. The patients in the control group received conventional care, while those in the intervention group were additionally given a THC program over 3 months. The THC intervention includes motor imagery and adaptive strategies. Data collection was undertaken using the Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment Scale (FMA), the Barthel Index (BI), the Stroke Impact Scale (SIS) at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months. Results At baseline, the scores of FMA, BI, and SIS in the intervention group were 53.62 ± 23.52, 54.04 ± 17.44, 179.96 ± 28.51, and while the scores of the control group were 50.96 ± 19.52, 49.46 ± 15.09, 169.23 ± 28.48. There were no pre-existing differences on any scale between the two groups (t=0.443, 1.012, 1.358, P > 0.05). At 3 months, the scores of FMA, BI, SIS in the control group were 53.54 ± 17.45, 50.77 ± 14.47, 76.19 ± 27.78, and were significantly lower than 78.38 ± 12.54, 74.62 ± 11.22, 228.54±22.63 in the THC group (t=5.895, 6.641, 7.449,P<0.01). At 6 months, the scores of FMA, BI, SIS in the control group were 57.88±17.89, 59.08±13.85, 183.92±26.56, and were significantly lower than 90.58 ± 9.60, 86.54 ± 9.88, 252.19 ± 20.10 in the THC group (t=8.211, 8.233, 10.451, P < 0.01). Conclusions A telehome-care program that provide distance training and education of disabled persons resulted in greater improvements in physical functioning, ADL and quality of life.

Objective To investigate the status of anxiety, depression and self-efficacy, social support among patients with severe burns and analyze their correlation. Methods Eighty-four patients with severe burns were selected by convenience sampling. They were evaluated by Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HADS), General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES) and Social Support Assessment Scale (SSAS) and the correlation of two scales was analyzed. Results The anxiety score was 6.62 ± 3.98, depression score was 7.63 ± 4.36, self-efficacy score was 20.94 ± 4.96 and the social support score was 41.40±6.47;Self-efficacy was negatively correlated with the anxiety (r=-0.356, P<0.05) and depression (r=-0.362, P<0.05). Social support was also negatively correlated with the anxiety (r=-0.305, P<0.05) and depression (r=-0.320, P<0.05). Conclusions There is a medium level of anxiety and depression among patients with severe burns. Psychological interventions via increasing the self- efficacy are suggested for the patients with severe burns in the future.
