Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2015;21(12):816-820
Objective To investigate the relationship between primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with multiple nodules and short-term recurrence after radical resection. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and follow-up of 692 consecutive HCC patients who underwent curative resection at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from January 2000 to December 2011.The diagnosis of multiple nodules was based on preoperative imaging data and observations in operation. Results Of 692 HCC patients, 126 patients had multiple nodules (18.2%, the MN group) and 566 patients had a single nodule (71.8%, the SN group). The 1-, 2-, 5-, and 10-year overall survival (OS) rates were 86.5%,72.2%, 38.1%, and 23.2% for the MN group, and 93.8%, 82.7%, 58.2%, and 35.7% for the SN group, respectively (P < 0.05).The 1-, 2-, 5-, and 10-year disease-free survival (DFS) rates were 68.6%, 46.8%, 27.2%, and 19.8% for the MN group, and 80.2%, 62.1%, 42.0%, and 34.6% for the SN group, respectively (P < 0.05).Cox regression model analysis showed a maximum nodule diameter of > 5 cm was an independent risk factor of short-term recurrence in the MN group. Conclusions The prognosis of HCC patients with multiple nodules after radical resection was poorer and the short-term recurrence rate was significantly higher than those patients with a single-nodule.A maximum nodal diameter of > 5 cm was an independent risk factor of short-term recurrence for patients with multiple nodules after radical resection. Therefore, patients with multiple nodules, especially > 5 cm, should be followed up closely and they are good candidates for a multiple disciplinary team (MDT) treatment.

China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Purpose:To assess the value of the sentinel lymph node by lymphoscintigraphy and gamma detector probe in early cervical cancer.Methods:22 patients with operable invasive early cervical cancer and clinically proven negative pelvic lymph nodes were included in the study. The 99m Tc-dextran ( 99m Tc-DX) of 74 MBq(2 mCi) was injected into the cervix at 2? and 10?. Lymphoscintigraphy and gamma probe detectors were used to detect the SLN. Results:The SLN was identified in 17 of the 22 patients. The sensitivity and the specificity of the SLN detection to predict the metastasis of the pelvic lymph node was 100% and 100% respectively. Conclusions:Identification of sentinel nodes using radionuclide is feasible and possible in women with early cervical cancer.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Objective A HPLC method to determine the content of Baicalein in Tangtai capsule was established. Method The separation was performed by Zorbax C18 column with acetonitrile and 0.5% phosphorice acid. The elution program was 1~15 min, 15%~60% acetonitrile. The flow rate was 1 mL/min and column temperature was 25 ℃. Content was detected at a wavelength of 280 nm. Result The linear range was 0.936~18.72 ?g, regression:Y =4849.53X-0.9593 (r=0.9999). The average recovery rate was 98.29% and RSD was 0.97% (n =5). Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and reproductive, and can be used for determining Baicalein in Tangtai capsule.

Objective To investigate the relationship of college students'explicit and implicit attitudes to suicide and the feasibility of applying B-IAT to measure their suicide attitude. Methods Explicit suicide attitude was primarily investigated by suicide attitude questionnaire (SAQ),and implicit attitudes experimental study was carried out by suicide brief implicit association test (B-IAT).The subjects of this study included 50 college students, and it was used within-subject design. Results ①Each dimension values of explicit suicide attitude was from 2.5 to 3.5,indicating that the subject~ explicit suicide attitude dominated by neutral or contradictory.②The mean of B-IAT was 0.43,indicating that the subjects' implicit suicide attitude was prone to negative.③College students' suicide explicit and implicit attitudes were statistically no significant correlation, indicating that students implicit suicide attitudes was independent of explicit attitudes. Conclusion It is feasible to measure explicit suicide attitudes by B-IAT.College students' implicit suicide attitudes is independent of explicit attitudes. The results from simple IAT may be more accurately reflects the subjects' true attitudes towards suicide.

Objective To explore the mediation role of university graduates' core self-evaluation played between perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. Methods 200 university graduates were investigated by Chinese frost multidimensional perfectionism questionnaires, core self-evaluation scale and self-rating anxiety scale with convenience sampling method. Results ①Job-selecting anxiety had no distinct differences in gender, residence and the aspects of only-child(P>0.05),but in different subjects,it was different(science and technology(1.79±0.49),culture and history(3.21±0.50),t=-4.38,P<0.01).② University graduates' positive perfectionism was positively correlated with core self-evaluation (r=0.31,P< 0.01),while negatively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r=-0.35,P<0.01).University graduates' negative perfectionism was negatively correlated with core self-evaluation(r =-0.35,P< 0.01),while positively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r =0.42,P< 0.01).Simultaneously core self-evaluation was negatively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r=-0.46,P< 0.01).③ Core self-evaluation played a part of the intermediary role between negative perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. The mediating effect was 30.0% of the total effect.Core self-evaluation played a part of the intermediary role between positive perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. The mediating effect was 34.5% of the total effect. Conclusion Perfectionism as a personality trait can calculate the level of job-selecting anxiety.Core self-evaluation plays a part of the intermediary role between perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. It is helpful to the working tactics of university graduates.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the role of galactomannan (GM) detection in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) in the diagnosis of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) in elderly patients with lung diseases.MethodsThe elderly patients with lung diseases and suspected of having IPA were enrolled. BALF for culture and GM detection, and serum samples for GM detection were obtained from all participants.According to European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer/Mycoses Study Group (EORTC/MSG) with host factors, clinical criteria, mycological evidence and histological or cytopathological evidence, all patients were categorized into the proven, probable, possible and no IPA patients. The IPA patients were considered as IPA group while no IPA was considered as control group. ResultsAmong 76 enrolled elderly patients, 18 cases were diagnosed with IPA (1 proven, 11 probable and 6 possible), the remained 58 patients were as control group.Based on a GM index cutoff value of ≥0. 5, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for BALF were 83.3%, 82. 8%, 60.0% and 94.1%, respectively; these variables in serum were 55.60% , 91.4 %, 66.7 % and 86.9% , respectively. Using a GM index cutoff value of ≥1.0, the specificity and positive predictive value of both BALF GM and serum GM reached 100%, but the sensitivity and negative predictive value of BALF GM were higher than serum GM (66.7% vs. 22.2%, 90.60% vs. 80.60%, respectively). Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis yielded a sensitivity of 83.4% and a specificity of 96.6% at a BALF GM index cutoff value of ≥0.725. ConclusionsGM detection in BALF seems to be a useful tool in the diagnosis of IPA in elderly patients with lung diseases, and could be widely used in future.
