1.Combined application of helicobacter pylori stool antigen test and serology in epidemiologic study of helicobacter pylori infection in children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of combined application of helicobacter pylori stool antigen(HpSA)-and traditional serology in epidemiologic study of helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection in children. Methods Hp serum IgG antibodies were examined among 480 healthy children. Heticobacter pylori stool antigen(HpSA) were measured among children who were seropositive. Hp status was defined as positive when stool antigen test was positive, Hp status was defined as negative when seronegative. A case - control study was conducted to identify risk factors of Hp infection in preschool children. Results Among 480 preschool children, 172 (35 8 %) were sero- positive, 64(13.3 %) with positive result of HpSA test were diagnosed as current Hp infection. Univariate factor analysis demonstrated that Hp infection clustered in families and Hp infection was often acquired in childhood by oral-oral and fecal - oral person to person transmission. Conclusions HpSA and serology screening are two nomnvasive tests, simple not costly, effective and accurate. The combination of these 2 noninvasive methods can be applied in epidemiologic study of Hp infection in childrenJAppl Clin Pediatr,2004,19(11):948-950
2.The research of lymph node tumor diagnosis algorithm for lymphography based on Semi-Naive Bayes Classification model.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):499-501
Acquaintance of the lymph node is very important to evaluate whether the tumor is malignant or benign and therefore to the treatment of the tumors. Lymphography is now considered the gold standard for this purpose. Many computer aided diagnose (CAD) technologies have been developed to help radiologists to diagnose the tumor by the lymphography cases. In this paper, a computer aided diagnose model is constructed by Semi-naive Bayes Classification. The experiments carried out in our laboratory validated the Semi-Naive Bayes Classification on lymphography case. The result of experiments showed that Semi-Naive Bayes Classification could classify lymphography case effectively.

Objective To investigate the influence factors of malnutrition risk in hospitalized children,in order to provide theoretical basis for early identifying hospitalized children at the risk of malnutrition and for guiding clinical nutritional intervention. Methods Hospitalized children in the Department of Pediatrics of our hospital from March 1st 2013 to April 30th 2014 were included and assessed using Screening Tool for the Assessment of Malnutrition in Pediatrics (STAMP).Questionnaire survey was conducted and clinical data was recorded. The children were divided into two groups according to STAMP scores upon admission, namely high malnutrition risk group and low malnutrition risk group.Comparing the differences of basic characteristics, laboratory examinations, and treatments between the two groups, associated factors of statistical significance were detected. With the associated factors identified in single factor analysis as independent variables and STAMP score-based group division as the dependent variable, multifactor unconditional Logistic regression analysis was performed to explore the independent risk factors influencing STAMP scores of hospitalized children. Results A total of 1 406 hospitalized children were included,of whom 738 were at high malnutrition risk, and the other 668 were at low malnutrition risk.Single factor analysis indicated that fever before admission (Z =-3.809,P =0.000),severity of condition (x2 =14.068,P =0.000),age (x2 =5.813,P =0.017),and length of fever before admission (t =2.793,P =0.005) were associated with high malnutrition risk of hospitalized children.Non-conditional Logistic regression suggested that severity of condition (OR =1.557,95% CI:1.164-2.083,P =0.003),length of fever before admission (OR =1.039,95% CI:1.011-1.068,P =0.006),and granulocyte count (OR =1.032,95% CI:1.004-1.061,P =0.027) were risk factors of high malnutrition risk in hospitalized children, and age (OR =0.942,95% CI:0.909-0.977,P =0.001) was protective factor. Conclusion Age,severity of condition, length of fever before admission, and granulocyte count can provide helpful information for early identification of hospitalized children at high malnutrition risk.

6. Effect of forsythin in inhibiting renal cell carcinoma via PI3K/Akt signaling pathway
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2019;50(10):2377-2382
Objective: To investigate the mechanism of forsythin in inhibiting the growth, migration and invasion of human renal cancer cells (786-0). Methods Human renal cancer cells (786-0) were cultured in vitro, and different concentrations of forsythin were added. Cell viability was detected by MTT assay, cell apoptosis was detected by AO/EB assay, cell migration and invasion abilities were respectively investigated by wound healing and transwell migration assays. The expression levels of PI3K, p-PI3K, Akt, p-Akt, FOXO3a, p-FOXO3a, p21, p27, Fasl, Bim, MMP-2, and MMP-9 were detected by Western bloting. Results:In 786-0 cells, forsythin effectively inhibited the growth of renal cancer cells, promoted apoptosis, interfered with cell cycle, and upregulated expression levels of p21, p27, Fasl, and Bim, when compared with control group (P < 0.05, 0.01); Compared with the control group, different concentrations of forsythin can significantly inhibit the migration and invasion of renal cancer cells, and reduce the synthesis of MMP-2 and MMP-9 (P < 0.05, 0.01). Meanwhile, forsythin can significantly inhibit the phosphorylation of PI3K, Akt and FOXO3a in a concentration-dependent manner (P < 0.05, 0.01). Conclusion: Forsythin can regulate apoptosis and cell cycle, and inhibit the growth of renal cancer cells by down-regulating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. At the same time, forsythin can effectively inhibit the ability of renal cell migration and invasion through the PI3K/Akt pathway.
