For understanding the effect of MDG-1, a water-soluble β-D-fructan polysaccharide from Ophiopogon japonicas, on intestinal microecological balance, especially on the changes of lactobacillus, sixty 8-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were given a high-fat diet for six weeks and were also gavaged with saline once a day simultaneously. Then the mice which is below 30 grams or dropped more than 10% through lavage were eliminated and the rest were randomly divided into four groups: diet-induced obese (DIO) model group (n = 12, gavaged with saline), low-dose MDG-1 group (n = 12, gavaged with MDG-1, 75 mg · kg(-1)) , medial-dose MDG- 1 group (n = 12, gavaged with 150 mg · kg(-1)), and high-dose MDG-1 group (n = 12, gavaged with 300 mg · kg(-1)) according to the weight and blood glucose; the model group and MDG-1 group were placed on a high-fat diet while the normal control group (n = 12, gavaged with saline) were kept on a low-fat diet through the experiment. After 12-weeks of treatment, feces samples were collected and cultured for intestinal microecological balance analysis. Then the intestinal probiotics were cultured through traditional methods combined with modified gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) method. The changes of lactobacillus in each treatment group were also detected by a statistical analysis of the total number of the intestinal flora. We have established the phylogenetic tree by 16S rDNA sequencing and use some molecular identification methods such as PCR-DGGE to analyse the changes of the dominant bacteria floras, and also get the pure culture. In conclusion, different concentrations of MDG-1 can increase the number of the intestinal probiotics, especially Taiwan lactobacillus and Lactobacillus murinus, and improve their diversity and promote proliferation in a dose-dependent way.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
Objective:To analyze the morphological characteristics of damaged Hero642 Ni-Ti dental files, and explain the relationship between deformation and fracture.Methods:71 discarded files were observed under naked eyes and stereomicroscope. 5 of which were observed under S360 scanning electronic microscope (SEM), and typical photos were taken for analysis. Results:The damage of Hero642 Ni-Ti dental files was characterized by fracture, tightened or loosened spiral and some kind of deformation detected at more than 35 times magnification. Under SEM, the dimple pattern was represented in the fracture surface of the files. Conclusion:Most Hero642 Ni-Ti files fractured within 4 mm from the tip which belongs to the pattern of ductile fracture.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the clinical results of internal fixation of patellar transverse body fracture by comparing figure-of-eight tension band wiring combined with cannulated compression screws technique with traditional modified tension band (AO technique). Methods There were 14 cases in the cannulated screws combined with tension band wire group, it involved 9 males and 5 females, the average age was 46 years. The patients were followed up for an average of 30 weeks with a range from 16 to 48 weeks. Another 20 cases were in the modified tension band group, it involved 13 males and 7 females, the average age was 42 years. The patients were followed up for an average of 42 weeks with a range from 36 to 72 weeks. The t test was used to compare the clinical results between two groups, including the mean knee flexion at the 2nd and 4th week, the mean clinical union time and the mean flexion loss at the 24th week postoperatively. Results In the cannulated screws combined with tension band wire group, the mean knee flexion at the 2nd week and 4th week postoperatively was 59??14.8? and 98??15.1? respectively. The mean clinical union time was (10?3.0) weeks and the mean flexion loss at the 24th week postoperatively was 11??6.3? without any complication. In the traditional modified tension band group, the mean knee flexion at the 2nd week and 4th week was 31??13.3? and 63??13.7? respectively. The mean clinical union time was (13?3.8) weeks and the mean flexion at the 24th week postoperatively was 18??6.2?. In this group, 2 cases failed because loosening of the tension band with the pin pulled out. One was managed with the plaster brace, the other underwent re-operation. Conclusion With stable construct, the internal fixation of transverse patellar body fracture with figure-of-eight tension band wiring combined with cannulated compression screws is less invasive to local soft tissue, optimal on knee functional recovery and fracture union. No complication has occurred, but the long-term clinical result and complication should be followed up for longer time.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Objective To explore the evidence for the morphologic comparability between the meridians and interstitial connective tissues in the lower limb with auto-marked and 3D-Rebuilding technology. Methods First, the muscles were extracted and noise was eliminated; With edge detection a convex hull of the muscles edge was found; The interstitial connective tissue points were marked in the cross section images of left leg from the digital dataset of Virtual Chinese Human-Male1(VCH-M1).Finally,the auto-marked images were reconstructed with 3D-Doctor. Results The reconstructed meridians in the lower limb auto-marked with computer procedures tallied basically with the meridians and collaterals recorded in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) illustrative graphics. Conclusion Having the advantages of digital anatomic study on acupuncture points earlier and mature 3D-Rebuilding techniques, the department of Anatomy of South Medical University cooperated with the Department of Scientific Calculation and Computer Application of Sun Yat-sen University to devise a set of computer programs which could be used to AutoMark interstitial connective tissues in Virtual Human lower limbs and then reconstruct virtual fascia meridians which corresponded with the TCM records. This method avoided man-made error to a certain degree in the process of recognizing and rebuilding of fascias. The study is significant to explore the morphologic comparability between the meridians and collaterals and interstitial connective tissues in human lower limb.

Clinical Medicine of China 2015;31(10):865-867
Objective To study the relationship between expression of Shh and Gli1 in Hedgehog(Hh) signal pathway and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).Methods Expressions of Shh andGli1 were detected in 64 cases primary tumor tissues and 24 cases normal esophageal mucosa with SP immunohistochemistal method. Results There were significant differences of Shh and Gli1 expressions between esophageal carcinoma and normal mucosa epithelium (67.19% (43/64) vs.4.17% (1/24), 60.94% (39/64) vs.4.17% (1/24);x2 =27.729,22.689;P<0.01).There were significant differences of Shh expression between different degrees of differentiation in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, metastasis of lymph node and different clinical staging group (x2 =3.873, 11.349,6.429;P < 0.05 or P< 0.01).The positive expression rate of Gli1 showed significant differences between different degrees of differentiation in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, metastasis of lymph node and different clinical staging group (x2=12.598, 9.741,26.341;P <0.01).There was a positive relationship between Shh and Gli1 expression(r =0.259, P<0.05).Conclusion Hh signaling pathway is abnormally activated in ESCC, so that Shh and Gli1 play important roles in carcinogenesis and progression ofesophageal carcinoma. The Hh signaling pathway may be a useful target in ESCC.
