Objective To investigate the changes and role of elastic fibers during the progression of ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction(MI) in rats. Methods Male Sprague Dawley rats were induced by ligating the anterior descending coronary artery and were divided into the 2nd,4th,8th,12th and 21st week groups.Elastic fibers were evaluated in the infarct region using Masson trichrome staining,Uana orcein staining and image analysis. The expressions of TNF? and IL-1? were also detected by immunohistochemistry. Results Elastic fibers could be found within the infarct region in the 2nd week after MI,increased with time and reached the peak during the 8th to 12th weeks, decreased or were absent in the 21st week. The expressions of TNF-? and IL-1? were also detected in the infarct zone and increased with time. Conclusion Elastic fibers were involved in infarct healing and may play an important role in promoting ventricular remodeling.

Objective To develop a system failure recovery programs in order to prevent an accident of the hospital computer network system. Methods The network failure was divided into three grades according to its influence. The groups of network malfunction was set up and can immediately start the established program, take effective measures to prevent the situation expand and spread in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Results Through the emergency power supply program, the network route emergency program, cable emergency support program and sector emergency plan, the hospital information systems run normally. Conclusion The issue of large-area network information paralysis is effectively solved and improves the information technology capacity of the hospital.

Objective To investigate the role of loss of heterozygosity (LOH) of SMAD2 and its relationship with clinicopathological parameters of primary gastric carcinoma. Methods Fifty cases of primary gastric carcinoma were monitored by polymerase chain reaction -single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR- SSCP) and silver staining to detect SMAD2 LOH. Results The incidence of LOH was 40.0%(22/45) at D18S450 and 33.3%(16/48)at D18S460 . LOH occurred in SMAD2 was 55.1%(27/49).The rate of SMAD2 LOH was 72.0% (18/25) in primary gastric carcinoma with lymph node metastasis , which was significantly higher than that in without lymph node metastasis (P

Chinese Circulation Journal 2015;(1):42-46
Objectives: To explore the relationship between vascular active peptide, apelin level and blood pressure in a coastal population of Fujian province.
Methods: A total of 1031 subjects with the mean age of (55.1 ± 10.9) years in a coastal area of Fujian province were included in this cross-sectional study, and 416 subjects with male gender. The questionnaire survey, physical examination and plasma level of apelin measurement were conducted. Based on JNC-7 deifnition of hypertension, the subjects were divided into 3 groups: ① Hypertension group, the patients with systolic blood pressure (SBP)≥140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure (DBP)≥90 mmHg, n=496. ② Pre-hypertension group, SBP at (120-139) mmHg and/or DBP at (80-89) mmHg without medication, n=314.③Normal BP group, SBP<120mmHg and DBP<80mmHg without medication, n=221. Based on 4 quartiles of apelin levels, the subjects were further divided into 4 groups:Q1 group, apelin<164.8 ng/ml, n=258. Q2 group, apelin at (164.8-<220.0) ng/ml, n=258. Q3 group, apelin at (220.0-283.1) ng/ml, n=258. Q4 group, apelin>283.1 ng/ml, n=257. One way analysis of variance, covariance analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis were used to study the
relationship between apelin level and BP.
Results: The apelin level in male gender (220.57 ± 78.87) pg/ml was lower than female gender (232.06 ± 81.17) pg/ml. Compared with Normal group, Pre-hypertension group had decreased apelin level, compared with Normal and Pre-hypertension groups, Hypertension group had decreased apelin level, P<0.05. Compared with Q1 group, Q2, Q3 groups presented decreased SBP, DBP and mean arterial blood pressure (MABP), and compared with other 3 groups, Q4 group had decreased SBP, DBP (not including Q2, Q3 groups) and MABP, P<0.05. With adjusted age and gender, SBP, DBP and MABP were signiifcantly different among 4 quartiles of apelin groups, P<0.05. Multivariate linear regression analysis indicated that SBP, DBP and MABP were negatively related to apelin level, such relationship remained the same after adjusting the other cardiovascular risk factors.
Conclusion: Apelin level dropping accompanying with BP increasing implies that vascular active peptide, apelin involved in BP regulation.

Objective To prepare lianzhang microemulsion and investigate its physicochemical properties. Methods The formulation was optimized with the pseudo-ternary phase diagrams drawn in a titration method. The process parameters were screened by a single factor test, and the physical and chemical properties of the microemulsion were preliminarily studied. Results The formulation of lianzhang microemulsion was as follows:copts root extracts:polygonum cuspidatum extractstea oilEL35 propylene glycolwater as 11. 417721. The microemulsion was obtained with mean diameter of 30. 9 nm by stirring the solution for 20 min at 1 400 r·min-1 and 75 ℃. The particles were uniformly distributed, and the microemulsion was clear and transparent without turbidity, phase separation and precipitation after the temperature test and acceleration test. Conclusion The preparation technology of lianzhang microemulsion is simple and stable.

To study the chemical constituents of the inflorescences of Coreopsis tinctoria from Xinjiang, isolation and purification of constituents were carried out by column chromatography on macroporous resin (D101) , MCI gel, MDS gel, silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and semi-preparative HPLC. The structures of the compounds were identified by physicchemical properties and spectral data analysis. Fourteen compounds were isolated and identified as coretinterpenoid A (1), coretinphenol (2), quercetin (3), quercetin-3-O-β-glucopyranoside (4), luteolin (5), taxifolin (6), 7, 3', 5'-trihydroxyflavanone (7), isookanin (8), isookanin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (9), 5, 7, 3', 5'-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (10), butein (11), okanin (12), sulfuretin (13), and linocinnamarin (14). Laboratory animals and animal experiments are foundations and important support conditions for life sciences, especially for medical research. The animal experiments have drawn extensive attention from the society because of the ethical issue. This paper takes Wenzhou Medical University as an example to give a brief introduction to the ethical review about laboratory animals in the university so as to further draw attention and concerns from the public about the ethical issue of laboratory animals. We successively introduce its scientific projects, nurturing environment and ethical review of laboratory animals.

(182.52 ± 17.07)μm] and Df [ (1.38 ± 0.05) vs .(1.34 ± 0.05)] in hypertension group , P<0.01 all .After adjus‐ting for age and gender ,analysis of covariance indicated that CRAE and Df of hypertension group were still signifi‐cantly lower than those of non - hypertension group (P<0.01 both) .Linear correlation analysis indicated that sys‐tolic blood pressure (SBP) ,diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and pulse pressure (PP) were inversely correlated with CRAE and Df ( r= -0.340~ -0.174 , P<0.01 all) .After adjusting for cardiovascular risk factors ,multi‐factor linear regression analysis indicated that CRAE and Df were still inversely correlated with SBP ,DBP and PP (stand‐ardizedβ= -0.190~ -0.134 ,P<0.01 all) .Df of hypertension course >5 years group was significantly lower than that of ≤5 years group [ (1.33 ± 0.05) vs .(1.35 ± 0.05)] , P<0.01. Conclusion:CARE ,Df are significantly in‐versely correlated to SBP ,DBP and PP in hypertensive population ,while correlation of Df is most .
