Objective To investigate the CT features of desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT)occurred in abdomen and pelvis.Methods The CT images of 4 patients with pathologically proven DSRCT occurred in abdomen and pelvis were retrospectively analyzed.Results The CT features common to the 4 DSRCT in abdomen and pelvis were as follows:the lobulated soft-tissue masses were very large;the masses often involved omental and serosal surfaces of abdomen and pelvis organ and had close relationship to the surrounding organs;the originating site of the tumors were not apparent;intratumoral hemorrhage or necrosis were often present;and contrast-enhanced CT scan showed mild to medium heterogeneous enhancement.Conclusion The CT features of DSRCT in abdomen and pelvis are rather specific and can provide helpful information to the clinical diagnosis.
3.Effect of hyperoxia on cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase -3 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen expres-sions in bone mesenchymal stem cells

Objective To investigate the effect of hyperoxia on the expressions of cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase -3(Caspase -3)and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA)in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs).Methods Primary BMSCs from SD rats were cultured in vitro,BMSCs grew to 70% -80% degrees of fu-sion and then were randomly divided into room air group and hyperoxia exposure group.Each group was divided into 5 sub -groups,and cultured for 0,3,6,1 2,and 24 h respectively.Morphology investigation with inverted phase contrast microscope was adopted.The expressions of Caspase -3 and PCNA protein levels were detected by Western blot. Results (1 )As time wenty by,compared with room air group,the gap between cells increased,some of the cells be-came circular,and cell detachment and floating appeared in the hyperoxia -exposure group (>1 2 h)compared with room air group.(2)As time went on,compared with the room air group,the expression levels of Caspase -3 protein in the hyperoxia -exposure group were increased,and the difference was significant after 6 hours of culture (0.27 ± 0.04 vs 0.1 4 ±0.02,t =5.03,P =0.007).(3)Compared with room air group,the PCNA levels of the hyperoxiaexpo-sure group(6 h)decreased,and the difference in PCNA protein expression levels was significant after 6 hours of culture (0.27 ±0.04 vs 0.38 ±0.04,t =3.37,P =0.028).Conclusions Hyperoxia exposure increases Caspase -3 expres-sion levels and decreases PCNA expression,which may affect the proliferation and apoptosis of BMSCs.

5.Application of case analysis teaching method with GasMan@ software in anesthesia practice course for clinical undergraduates

Objective To compared the effect of combined teaching method of lecture,case analysis and GasMan@software (LAG) and traditional teaching method (LBL) in inhalation anesthesia practice course.Method 78 anesthesiological undergraduates were randomly assigned to G group (n=39) or Control group (n=39).According to the requirements of clinical anesthesiology in the syllabus,G group used classroom lectures,case analysis and GasMan@software (LAG) teaching method,while Control group used lecture based learning (LBL) teaching method.The students took anonymous quiz and filled teaching effect evaluation form after practice course.Then the exam results were compared between groups to evaluate the teaching effect.SPSS 19.0 was applied to do statistical analysis and t test and x2 test were used.Results Compared to the Control group,G group got better results in objective questions like choosing,judgment,case analysis and average ranks (P=0.000),and there was no significant difference in the identification section (P=0.087),while G group also got better results in subjective questions like learning interests,study efficiency,memorize,logical thoughts,ability of analysis,solving problems and cooperation (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to traditional teaching method,the combined use of lecture,case analysis and GasMan@software make students immersive,develop their clinical thinking ability,and improve the teaching effect of inhalation anesthesia practice course significantly.
6.Investigation of Microcystin in Tai Lake Water and Fish

Objective To know the pollution situation by microcystin MC in Tai Lake in Wuxi. Methods The MC content in 12 water samples and 28 fish samples in the Tai Lake were determined by ELISA. Results The positive rates of MC in water samples and fish samples were 100%. The mean content of MC in water samples was higher in July 9 874.8 pg/ml than in November 142.8 pg/ml. The mean content of MC in the livers was 27.84 ng/g, in the muscle it was 3.97 ng/g. Conclusion The Tai Lake has been contaminated by microcystin and it can be detected in the fish living in the lake.
7.Multi-disciplinary team for diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease

Inflammatory bowel disease ( IBD ) is a group of chronic non-specific inflammatory conditions of the intestine with unknown etiology.IBD has variety of intestinal manifestations and complications and there is lack of gold standard for diagnosis, so the disease should be diagnosed on the basis of clinical manifestations, endoscopic findings and histopathological examination.Most patients require surgical treatment and long-term maintenance of medication.Multi-disciplinary team (MDT), consisting of gastroenterologist, general surgeon, anorectal surgeon, nutritionist and psychologist, is needed for individualized treatment of patients.This article introduces the MDT model of diagnosis and treatment, and its application in inflammatory bowel disease.
8.Analysis on mycoplasma infection and drug sensitivity of female urogenital tract

Objective To investigate the incidence and the drug-sensitivity results of mycoplasma infection in genital tract from the gynecological outpatients,in order to provide a laboratory evidence for clinical rational use of drug.Methods The drug sensitiv-ity kit was used for isolation and culture of mycoplasma,reproductive tract secretions samples of 1 067 cases of gynecological pa-tients were collected to do mycoplasma identification and drug sensitivity test.Results In 1 067 samples,the positive rate of myco-plasma were 659 samples,including ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)positive rate was 72.99%(481/659),mycoplasma hominis (Mh) positive rate was 3.79%(25/659),Uu and Mh positive rate accounted for 23.22%(1 53/659).The drug sensitivity results of 12 kinds of antimicrobial agents showed that single infection Uu was more sensitive to josamycin,doxycycline,minocycline,tetracy-cline,clarithromycin,azithromycin and roxithromycin.Single infection Mh was more sensitive to doxycycline,josamycin,minocycline and tetracycline.Mixed infection of Uu and Mh was more sensitive to josamycin,minocycline and doxycycline.Conclusion The main pathogen isolated from patients infected with plasma in our hospital is Uu,whether single Uu or Uu,Mh mixed infection,there are differences in the sensitivity of antimicrobial,clinicians should use drug rationally according to the conditions of patients and drug sensitivity results to reduce drug resistance rate.

Due to its effectiveness and specificity,RNA interference (RNAi) technology is widely used in the treatment of tumor,viral infectious and metabolic diseases.Noninvasively tracing the delivery of therapeutic RNA molecules in vivo and evaluating the therapeutic effects are important to promote the clinical application of RNAi technology.Molecular imaging allows noninvasive visualization of biological processes at the cellular and molecular level in vivo.It can be used to monitor the biodistribution of therapeutic RNA molecules and to assess the effects of the RNAi.This article reviews the advance of molecular imaging in monitoring the delivery of RNAi molecules and evaluating the therapeutic effects of RNAi.

Objective To investigate the dose-response and its mechanisms of preventive effect of 103 Pd radioactive stent on restenosis in rabbits after balloon injury. Methods The abdominal arteries of the rabbits randomized into common or radioactive stent groups (including 5 Gy, 15 Gy, 25 Gy, 35 Gy groups) were balloon injured, and then stented. Intravascular ultrasound and angiography on abdominal arteries, immunohistochemical study of PCNA, and TUNEL assay were performed 8 weeks after stenting. Results Both the minimal lumen diameters and in-stent lumen areas in 103 Pd radioactive stent groups [(1.94?0.21) mm and (5.99?0.43) mm2, (2.17?0.12) mm and (7.01?0.93) mm2, (2.43?0.22) mm and (8.09?0.89) mm2, (2.56?0.27) mm and (8.49?0.54) mm2 in turn in 5 Gy, 15 Gy, 25 Gy, 35 Gy groups, respectively]were significantly improved with increases of the doses at the end of 8 weeks,revealing a dose-response effect.
