Objective To supervise military training by application of clinical classification of fatigue fracture so as to decrease the occurrence and development of fatigue fracture. Methods From Feb.1999 to Feb.2002, the knowledge of clinical classification of fatigue fracture was applied in the military training in which it was essential to prevent and treat fatigue fracture. Results From 1999 to 2002, the incidence of fatigue fracture decreased year by year. Types Ⅱand Ⅲof fatigue fracture decreased significantly. Conclusion Clinical classification plays an important role in decreasing the occurrence and development of fatigue fracture.

Objective To investigate the association of cognitive impairment with the brain structure changes in multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods 70 patients with MS were tested with the Wechsler Intelligence Scale and brain MRI. Analysis was performed to the brain MRI in 50 patients and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in 7 patients. Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Pingyangmycin combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide on the huge faciocervical lymphatic malformations (LMs) in infants.Methods Sixty-seven infants with LMs located in head and neck from January 2009 to June 2014 were retrospectively analyzed in Kunming Children's Hospital.Thirty-five males and 32 females were enrolled,aged from 1 month to 4 years,with a median age of 1.3 years.Computed tomography and ultrasonography were used to evaluate the location,size and extent of LMs before treatment in all the patients.The size of lesion varied from 5.2 cm ×7.5 cm to 9.2 cm × 10.5 cm.All patients were given local injection of Pingyangmycin combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide after puncturing fluid with uhrasonography guiding under general anesthesia.The injection was repeated every 30 d when necessary.Results The number of injections varied from 2 to 5 times,with a median number of 3.9 times.All cases were followed up for 5 to 36 months.Thirty-two cases (62.68％) were cured,improvement in 19 cases (28.36％) and no effect in 6 cases (8.96％).The total effective rate was 91.04％.There was no severe allergic reaction or pulmonary fibrosis.Secondary operation was performed after 6 months in 12 cases.Two post-operative complications were found,1 was minor paralyses of mandibular branch of facial nerve,with mouth askew,the other was trachyphonia,who were both improved after rehabilitation treatment.Conclusions In order to avoid serious complications,the huge LMs may be given local injection of Pingyangmycin combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide after puncturing fluid with ultrasonography guiding.Graded sclerotherapy provides for a less invasive and shorter course of treatment.The complications and risk of secondary resection increase slightly if sclerotherapy has no curative effect.

Objective To explore the reproductive toxicity of 2,4-D butylate to the testis in male mice.Methods Forty-eight ICR male mice were randomly divided into four groups : the control group, and three 2,4-D butylate experimental groups (10, 20, 40 mg/kg), 12 mice in each group.2,4-D butylate was intragastrically administered once a day and six days per week for five weeks .At the end of the exposure, the activities of total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), Na+ K+-ATPase, Ca+ + Mg+ +-ATPase, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) in testis homogenate were measured by spectrophotometry .Results The activity of T-AOC was gradually decreased with the increase of doses, with a significant difference between the high dose group and other groups .The activities of LDH in the moderate and high dose groups were significantly lower than those of the low dose group and control group , and there was a significant difference between the high dose group and moderate dose group .The activities of SDH in the testis was gradually decreased with the increase of the 2,4-D butylate dose, showing significant differences between the high dose group and the moderate dose and control groups , and between the high and moderate dose groups and the low dose group . The activities of Na +K +-ATPase in the moderate and high dose groups were significantly lower than that of the control and low dose group.The activities of Ca++Mg++-ATPase was significantly lower in the experimental groups than that in the control group.Conclusion Exposure to 2,4-D butylate has certain toxic effect on the testicular tissue in male mice .

Selection and affinities of Cd binding peptides were assayed by phage random dodecapeptide library and affinity chromatography. Two Cd binding peptides were obtained, it was found that the affinities of Cu~ 2+ ,Co~ 2+ ,Zn~ 2+ ,Ni~ 2+ for Cd binding peptides were higher than that of Cd~ 2+ and Cr~ 2+ after detection of the amplified Cd binding peptides displayed phages to different heavy metal-charged resins; the detoxification of E.coli to Ni~ 2+ and Cd~ 2+ was enhanced when infected by Cd binding peptide displayed phages as compared with those of the control. The interaction of Cd binding peptide displayed phages with heavy metals charged resins was also observed under microscope. The work would be of great value and consequences for the study of interaction between heavy metals and proteins(peptides), as well as thedetoxification and bioremediation of heavy metals.

OBJECTIVETo determine the constant for the inclusion complex of Yinqiao volatile oil with beta-cyclodextrin.

METHODThe stability constant for the inclusion complex of Yinqiao the volatile oil with beta-cyclodextrin was detemined under multiwavelength by ultraviolet spectroscopy, and spectroscopy feature for inclusion complex was studied. The phase solubility-curve showed the inclusion proportion. The inclusion complex of Yinqiao the volatile oil with beta-cyclodextrin was prepared by saturated aqueous solution. The DTA spectroscopy of inclusion complex was different from not only oil with beta-cyclodextrin but also the mixture of them.

RESULTThe inclusion complex of Yinqiao the volatile oil with beta-cyclodextrin was formed. The experimental data of inclusion complex fitted well to the molar ratio of 1:1. There was good liner feature under multiwavelength of ultraviolet spectroscopy.

CONCLUSIONAdopting multiwavelength method may determine the appearant stability constant of multicomponential traditional drug. The determination of the stability constant of the inclusion complex can be used in traditional drug.

Objective o evaluate the association between IL-28B ( rs12979860 ) polymorphism andantiviraltherapeutic effectbydetecting the genotype of interleukin-28B( IL-28 B) in patients with hepatitis C ( HCV ) .Methods Of total 1153 HCV patients, 303 diagnosed with CHC had been treated with pegylated interferon plus ribavirin for 24-48 weeks.IL-28B ( rs12979860 ) was genotyped by two-color fluorescent TaqMan assay.Results Among 1153 patients, CC, CT and TT genotype frequencies of IL-28B rs12979860 are 83.26%, 16.22%and 0.52%respectively.The results of HCV genotypingof 580 in 1153 cases, the frequencies of 1b, 2a and their non-1b/2a type are 63.45%, 35.00%and 1.55%respectively;In 303 CHC patients with clear medical history, the proportion of SVR was71.98% in patients with CC genotype and 16.90%in those with either the CT or TT genotypes.Logistic regression model was adopted to analyze the association of rs12979860 with SVR while adjusting for age, gender, viral load and HCV GT factors.Populations carrying combined genotype ( CT +TT) are making it harder to get SVR compared with those with CC genotype (OR, 95%CI:11.10,5.35-23.04;P<0.000 1).The percentages of SVR in HVC patients with 1b and 2a genotypeare 48.02% and 81.19% respectively.there is a statistically significant difference between these subgroups (χ2 =30.639,P<0.000 1).Conclusion IL-28B rs12979860 genotype is closely related to SVR in CHCpatients.Patients with CC genotype have a higher virus sustained response rate than those carrying CT or TT genotype.The SNP , rs12979860, might be applied as a predictor of clinical antiviral efficacy in the furture.

[Objective]To evaluate the prognostic value of skull-base invasion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)based on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).[Methods]A total of 924 patients who were diagnosed with NPC between 2003 and 2004,had undergone MRI scan and received mdiothempy as their primary treatment,and had no distant metastasis were included in this study.MRI images and medical records were analyzed retrospectively.All the 924 eases.patients who developed skull-base invasions based on MRI,315 patients with T3 disease and 227 patients with T2 disease were selected for analysis.The staging was according to the sixth edition of the American Joint Commission on Cancer(AJCC)staging system.[Results]Incidence of skullbase invasion according to MRI was 55.4%.Of 924 cases.skull-base invasion on MRI was not an independent prognostic factor for overall survival(OS)and distant metastasis-free survival(DMFS),but was a marginally significant independent prognostic factor for local relapse-free survival(LRFS),P=0.068.Grading of MRI-detected skull-base erosion according to the site of invasion was an independent prognostic factor for OS(P=0.002 and P=0.005)and DMFS(P=0.001 for both)in the 512 patients with skull-base invasions and 315 patients with T3 disease.Severe-grade of skull-base invasion on MRI was an independent prognostic factor for OS and DMFS in the 924 patients(P ＜ 0.001 for both).No significant differences were observed on OS,LRFS,and DMFS between T2a patients and T3 patients with low-grade of MRI-deteeted skull-base involvement.[Conclusions]Skull-base invasion based on MRI is not an independent prognostic factor for NPC.However,severe-grade of invasion according to the site of involvement has positive prognostic value.

Objective:To discuss the treatment options for patients with azoospermia factor (AZF)c microdeletion on Y chromosome.Methods:One hundred and eighty three patients,who were diagnosed as AZFc microdeletion on Y chromosome in Peking University Third Hospital,were recruited in our stu-dy.In order to get better treatment option for this kind of patients,we retrospectively analyzed their clinic data including the treatment process and pregnancy outcome and found out the characteristics of their se-men.Results:Among the 183 patients,sperms can be found in ejaculated semen in 105 patients (57.4%,105 /183).One hundred and three patients (98.1%,103 /105)were diagnosed as severe or extremely severe oligospermia.Regular medication was given to 98 patients,6 patients (6.1%,6 /98) of which got natural pregnancy.The other 99 patients who have sperms in their semen received intracyto-plasmic sperm injection (ICSI),68 patients (68.7%,68 /99)of which got pregnancy.Seventy eight patients were diagnosed as azoospermia among all the 183 patients.Forty nine patients received testicular sperm aspiration (TESA),and 21 patients choose to receive micro-TESE directly.Among the 49 patients with TESA,sperms were retrieved in 17 patients (34.7%,17 /49),and sperms were not retrieved in 32 patients (65.3%,32 /49),of which 12 patients (37.5%,12 /32)gave up treatment and 20 patients (62.5%,20 /32)choose micro-TESE.Among the 41 patients who choose to receive micro-TESE,ope-ration has been done on 19 patients,of which 11 patients (57.9%,11 /19)got sperms.Among the 11 patients,TESA has been done on 6 patients before micro-TESE,of which 4 patients (66.6%,4 /6)got sperms.ICSI has already been done on 7 azoospermia AZFc microdeletion patients who underwent micro-TESE,of which 4 patients (57.1%,4 /7)get pregnancy.Conclusion:AZFc microdeletion patients who had sperms were always diagnosed as severe or extremely severe oligospermia.ICSI was their first choice instead of drug therapy.For AZFc microdeletion patients who were diagnosed as azoospermia, TESA was one of their choices,however,the success rate is not high.Micro-TESE is still possible to get sperms even after the failure of TESA.Therefore,we may choose micro-TESE instead of TESA in some azoospermia patients in order to reduce surgical trauma on patients.
